I've had a couple different hobby channels in the past. Ty helped me figure out what to keep from past experience, what to ditch, and what to improve. I'd done a little research already, but he gave me a lot of things to think about that I wouldn't have thought about. He also set reasonable milestones and deadlines.
He's got just the right personality to be a great coach. He listens, he suggests, and even pushes when necessary. But he's also very open to the fact that some niches have quirks that may not fit the standard mold.
