Recently had A1 provide me with a duralast roof after dealing with a leak on my flat roof. I had many contractors give me estimates but A1 provided me with the most reasonable quote (far below even the lowest estimate), along with a better warranty than any other company, using commercial grade material that is better rated than the material other contractors were trying to replace my roof with. Staff was prompt and was able to squeeze my roofing job in. Mr. Maurice communicated throughout the process all that was going on with material delivery, scheduling and so forth and he and his staff completed the job as scheduled, despite periods of inclement weather.

Kyle Burns, Residential Roof Specialist, came out to the house and helped answer all my questions and examined the roof which had some weather damage. Kyle was very professional and helpful. He set up the repair date, estimate, etc. and explained everything to me in detail. The Kanga team did a great job getting our new metal roof installed, all repair work done, gutters installed, and even a few little details to tie the new metal roof to the existing older metal roof! Looks complete now. The worked in all kinds of weather through the winter to get it all done. All detail work was done with professionalism. We hired A-1 Roofing to repair and repaint our flat roof, replace the shingles on our mansard roof, and replace all of our gutters. Maurice is a great guy and a very honest and enjoyable person to do business with. I was out of town during the job but he kept me updated with photos throughout the process. We had one miscommunication about what I wanted and he came back first thing the next week to get it resolved. I highly recommend Kanga Roof. Here's why. Last Winter I had the worst roof leak I've ever seen. Melted snow was cascading down my kitchen wall in buckets, two floors below the roof!I called 3 roofers for estimates and 2 came out. The last was scheduled 4 days later. The 1st guy was in a big rush and when he could not figure out where the leak was coming from by standing in my backyard and looking up, he simply gave up and left.The 2nd person was from Kanga Roof and he actually went up on the roof but he couldn't figure out the source of the leak either.Here's the difference, he didn't give up. He asked me if I would make another appointment and since he couldn't figure it out, that appointment would be with someone who's been doing inspections much longer than himself. I appreciated his honesty and made the appointment.The end result is, the owner of the roofing company came out himself and quickly figured out the origin of the leak after getting on the roof himself. Needless to say, I hired Kanga Roof to fix the leak and install a new skylight since, during his inspection he discovered a serious issue with my old unit.Yes, I had to make a few adjustments to my schedule in order to accommodate. It wasn't convenient and could not be placed into exact time slots but I was impressed with the attention to details and professionalism shown by Kanga Roof.I knew that if I wanted my roof repaired properly, I had to make a few sacrifices, that's just the nature of home improvement projects. I know this because I've experienced a few. You may want to keep that in mind the next time you need a roofer.
