We started using the Abound app like a month ago. I wasn't worried about my kiddo knowing how to read (because he started reading when he was three!) but more about the understanding and the comprehension of the story. I'm glad that he liked it better than expected. We love that we hear the story and then we can talk about it, I specially like the questions because I like listening to him talk about the story. It's a good way to start a conversation. He loves that he learns new words and their meanings, and we try to find similar words depending on what we learn. I totally recommend this app to every family. It's a good tool to make your kid enjoy reading and a great excuse to start conversations with the family while learning at the same time.

I like Abound for the new material my children view. It’s unlike other programs and they enjoy the fact that we talk through the stories and meaning of new words. Abound does give a good feeling when finished with using the application. It does feel like it helps with their development to think outside of the box and use their brain more. My child read a book about differences in families growing up and she learned more about earth and that there is more places to see and a lot more children who grow up differently. “I want to make more friends”. Abound also is an enjoying time spent conversing new ideas that don’t normally come about from a normal conversation. We enjoy it every time!
