Wall of love for Alpha Anywhere

Alpha Anywhere has given my children the ability to learn at their level, eliminating classroom boredom. The freedom of sleeping in makes a world of difference for my preteen!

I found Alpha through the Future of Education Instagram account and was an immediate fan. Because we don’t live in Austin, I was hoping for some sort of an online option, and was thrilled when Alpha Anywhere was announced, and signed up for it right away. I had high expectations for this program, and it has exceeded every single one of them. We were homeschooling before, and my boys already had a love for learning, but I had questions about any knowledge gaps that they may have. What I love about Alpha‘s program is the amount of data that we can see in terms of where their weaknesses and strengths are, and the immediate plan to fix weaknesses and shore up strengths. My boys love learning with Alpha Anywhere, and hop on their computers first thing every morning. They have a friendly competition going over who is earning more Alphas, and strategize how to only spend their interest and keep their balance high. That they are learning money management while also reaching the top of the percentiles in their academics, and have fun doing so, is such a win to see as a parent. The academics are no joke and they definitely struggle sometimes, but the incentives are so strong that they don’t quit. We can’t wait for team exercises to begin and for them to be able to interact with other Alpha Anywhere students as that program is built out. I cannot recommend this program enough. It is such a gift for both parent and student, and we are planning on adding our other kids to this program once they are old enough.

We made the decision to switch to Alpha Anywhere for two reasons: First, because neither child was being challenged appropriately at school, and second because we were really chafing at the schedule. Mornings were rushed, evenings were stressful, and we felt like we had no time for anything! Neither of these issues were necessarily the school's fault; they are just challenges that come with the traditional school model. Since we have switched to Alpha Anywhere, we have seen big changes in both kids. One is engaged and interested in learning again. The other has gained so much confidence in her ability to learn and achieve big goals. The biggest change I've seen, though, is the explosion of new interests they both have. From drone flying to cooking to picking up new instruments to building huge structures in the back yard, they are completely engaged in their lives and, as a parent, I could not ask for more.

My daughter Ariana, had issues learning and experienced difficulties paying attention in school. She got easily distracted, Alpha Anywhere helped her by assessing her special needs and has helped her learn 3x faster than other children in the regular school system. We are very happy to see how Ariana is advancing in her current grade level faster than other students. We are very happy to have Ariana in Alpha Anywhere and give us the flexibility to travel with them.

My family heard about a school using AI to complete academics in only 2 hours leaving afternoons free for life skills and that was all I needed to deep dive into 2 hour learning/time back. After researching about Alpha schools and listening to multiple podcasts, I found Alpha Anywhere. My son has learning challenges and this was the perfect school for him to fill in those gaps that I had no idea he needed filled. My son, a 5th grader, started at 3rd grade level learning to fill those gaps and it’s only taking a few months to zoom through one grade level and on to the next. He will come to me and say, “Mom, I just completed 10 science lessons in 20 minutes.” I asked him what he learned and he was able to retain that info. I am so excited to see him excel and it is a blessing that the weight is off my shoulders. He gets his day going at 9am and is finished with his classes by lunch. He has time for Jiujitsu classes during the day and hanging out with friends too. If someone were to ask me, “Should I consider applying to Alpha Anywhere for my child”, I would not hesitate to say yes. It’s been such a great educational decision for our family. I had been exploring the idea of homeschooling for a while. When I found out about Alpha Anywhere I knew I had a good chance of meeting our family's high academic standards and also give my child the time to explore the activities she loves. My daughter is dyslexic. When joining Alpha Anywhere, she had to face a couple of challenges and gaps she had from her previous school. Through the initial process the gaps where identified and she was able to address them. If left behind these gaps would have been extremely hard to cover later as more lessons accumulate. My daughter is now very happy to be in charge of her morning routine and her learning schedule. She loves being able to earn, save and spend some money on her favourite things. Our life and our routines are so much more enjoyable now and a lot less forceful. If you have high academic standards and want to see your child happy, healthy and motivated to do the things they love, then you should definitely try Alpha Anywhere.

Alpha Anywhere has been a blessing to our family. My daughter Emmy has been homeschooled by me since kindergarten. This year for 6th grade we decided to send her to a 2 day a week tutorial. She came home every day saying the kids won’t behave and she’s isn’t learning anything. I had been following the Alpha School on Instagram and love the concept so we pulled her out at Christmas and started Alpha Anywhere after Christmas break. She is no longer bored! She is working grades ahead in reading and being properly challenged every day in all subjects. Emmy likes Alpha Anywhere because it allows her more freedom and independence in her school work. She is no longer waiting for me to teach her her subjects. She also loves Alpha Anywhere because she is an avid equestrian and spends about 20 hours a week at the barn with her horses. Completing school in 2 hours a day gives her back her time to pursue her passion. If I were to tell parents considering Alpha Anywhere one thing it would be to try it! You will be shocked how quickly your child’s knowledge gaps fill in and they start soaring ahead!

We chose Alpha Anywhere because we felt like traditional school wasn’t truly serving our kids. There was a lot of wasted time, and more importantly, a gap in what they actually needed to be learning. It felt like they were being pushed along rather than truly mastering concepts. With large classrooms, teaching often caters to the lowest level, which left our kids bored and waiting instead of being challenged. We also wanted more control over their environment, what they’re exposed to, and the overall influence around their education. On top of that, we were looking for more flexibility to travel and structure our days intentionally. Since starting Alpha, the difference has been incredible. Based on their standards and data, our kids are learning significantly faster and more effectively. The mastery-based approach has been a game changer. They are not just passing, they are actually understanding and retaining what they learn. The biggest shift has been in who they are day to day. There is a noticeable calm, confidence, and positivity in all of them. They are more independent, more responsible, and more engaged in their own growth. They are not just learning academically, they are developing real-life skills like time management, ownership, and discipline. It feels like they are finally learning in a way that prepares them for the real world. As a parent, it’s honestly been a huge sense of relief and confidence knowing they are in an environment that aligns with our values and is truly helping them grow. If you are considering Alpha Anywhere, just do it. If it’s even crossed your mind, it’s worth it. We truly believe this is the future of education, and once more families see what’s possible, it’s going to become the standard.

I feel so grateful that we stumbled upon AlphaAnywhere. We started homeschooling our son in the fall because he was falling behind in school. As I began working with him, I realized he was actually years behind. I tried to identify the gaps in his learning, but as I’m not a teacher, it was overwhelming and difficult to know where to start. Then we came across a podcast about the Alpha School in the United States. Their model made so much sense to me. The idea of starting assessment ay kindergarten level and building up from there might sound daunting or frustrating, but to me it was such a relief. I didn’t need quick fixes — I needed someone to look at his overall learning and truly assess where he was. That’s exactly what we received: a clear picture of the areas that need more attention. At first, he was frustrated. But after two and a half months, he has really found his rhythm and is taking ownership of his learning. He has even set goals for himself to complete more assignments each day so he can finish two grade levels in math by the end of June — and I truly believe he can do it. I am so thankful we found Alpha.

We were concerned our child had some gaps in her knowledge base, and boy, are we happy to started Alpha School. We have uncovered some serious gaps (particulalry in math, where her teachers always said she was "fine"). She is excited to learn, and finds the lessons quite approachable. We are SO happy we started on this journey when she was in fourth grade, and didn't wait for knowledge gaps to accumulate.

We were frustrated with public school, specifically lack of individual attention. Our son isn’t special needs or anything, it was the contrary in that we saw him starting to get bored while finishing 2nd grade. In 5 months of homeschooling with Alpha Anywhere, our son is doing 3rd grade math, but also 4th grade reading and language, and 6th grade level science. Alpha Anywhere allows him to excel in subjects instead of having to wait with the rest of his class.

Our family’s experience with Alpha has been very positive. The team has been incredibly positive, supportive, and responsive. The interfaces are low friction, and it did not take long for my daughter to be independently navigating everything. She is learning right where she needs to be (no longer pushed along with a group) and can go as fast as she wants in any subject. It was a big change to make in the middle of the year, but we made her part of it and that was an element of the success. Allowing agency in how, when, and where (obviously age appropriate) is a key to motivation and achievement. I would tell families considering it to try it, we regret mostly what we don't give a chance to in life!

AA's been a game changer for us. Since the traditional school model is broken and we wanted the flexibility to travel finding out about this homeschooling option couldn't have come at a better time. Emma was getting ready to start 3rd grade and the youngest AA was accepting was 3rd graders. The decision to try AA was due to a confluence of reasons. I felt my daughter wasn't learning as much as she should be given the amount of time she spends in school. She was bored. Fortunately, my wife and I have flexible schedules so we jumped on the opportunity to enroll in AA and haven't been disappointed. She's thriving and is learning well beyond the 2x that we were hoping for. We couldn't be happier about her progress. For those considering AA, I'd say give it a go. Worst that could happen is that you return to your previous schooling. We love that it's available 24/7 and you don't need to follow any type of schedule tho I'd recommend some type of consistency. Our back up plan was to find a homeshool program that we would implement ourselves but, the way things are going, we'll never have to do that.

I found Alpha when doing a deep dive on alternative learning models. The Montessori our son was attending was way more concerned with societal ideals vs the core curriculum in a collaborative environment. I sensed our son was being left behind, just didn't know how right I actually was! We made the change to Alpha Anywhere 2 years ago and upon starting our son was 1 to 3 grade years behind in every subject. Confidence was shot, daily struggles with dyslexia and feelings of not being smart plagued our son. Fast forward to today and our son is learning at an incredible pace.....3X to 5X in all his subjects and sitting at the 99th percentile for all the core curriculum. The growth and change are incredible and sometimes almost unbelievable. We are so grateful to the Alpha program and what it has done for our son. It is a big change, but is it one you can afford not to make? Break out of the outdated learning model and take charge of your children's learning development, it will be the best thing you ever give them.
