Wall of love for Apidog

Ça fait des années que j’utilise Postman au quotidien. C’est un outil que j’ai toujours défendu, recommandé et imposé dans mes équipes (même pour les tests de performance 🤪). Mais depuis quelques mois, Postman a décidé de verrouiller l’essentiel de ses fonctionnalités derrière un abonnement payant. Sans parler de la lourdeur d’exécution et des glitches lorsqu’on passe d’un onglet à un autre. Du coup, j’ai été obligé de trouver un outil gratuit qui fait la même chose, ou presque. J’ai été étonné de découvrir Apidog, qui fait la même chose que Postman, mais en mieux. Il propose même des fonctionnalités dont je ne pensais pas qu’elles existaient ou qu’il était possible d’avoir : - Synchronisation des spécifications - Mocks intelligents - Documentation automatique - Définition des schémas avec génération de données Je pense que d’ici la fin de 2026, on entendra beaucoup plus parler d’Apidog. #API #Apidog

Siempre he trabajado con API-first approach, pero hace poco descubrí APIdog y ha sido un punto de inflexión. 🚀 أداة جديدة خلتني أستغنى عن Postman في إدارة واختبار الـ APIs! 🚀 مؤخرًا جربت Apidog 🐶!، وبصراحة غيرت طريقتي في التعامل مع الـ APIs تمامًا! 📌 لما بشتغل فرونت، ببقى مستني الـ Endpoints من الباك، وبشوف لو فيه Documentation علشان أعرف الـ Response اللي متوقع يجيلي. بس في أغلب الوقت مفيش Docs، فبيبقى كلامي كله مع الباك، وبتحصل مشاكل كتير عشان الـ API مش شغال صح أو مفيش Test معمول عليه كويس. وهنا جات Apidog وحلت كل المشاكل دي لأنها بتجمع بين: ✅ إنشاء الـ APIs وإدارتها بسهولة، مع معرفة كل تفاصيل الـ Request والـ Response. ✅ محاكاة البيانات (Mocking)، يعني أقدر أشتغل علطول من غير ما أحتاج Backend شغال، لأن Apidog بتوفر سيرفر داخلي أقدر أعمل عليه Test وأتأكد إن كل حاجة تمام. ✅ اختبار الـ APIs مباشرةً جوه الأداة، فأقدر أشوف النتائج اللي متوقعها شغالة صح ولا لأ. ✅ توثيق تلقائي لكل حاجة في الـ API، والتحديثات بتتعمل أوتوماتيك، فالتيم كله بيبقى على نفس الصفحة مع أي تعديل جديد. 💡 باختصار، Apidog وفرت عليا وقت كبير وربطت كل الأدوات اللي كنت بستخدمها في مكان واحد!

أنا ليه بستخدم Apidog واستغنيت عن Postman. 1- سهل جدا انك تتنقل من داخل البرنامج وبسيط جدااا 2- تقدر تستخدم وتضيف ال schema براحتك كانك بتستخدم موقع mongodb مثلا. 3- بيعملك امثله لل api بناءا علي المشروع بتاعك عشان يسهل عليك . 4- رسائل الخطا بيطلعها لك مباشرة مش محتاج تهندلها الاول في المشروع وبعدها تعمل تيست لل api عشان تشوف رسائل الخطا apidog وفر عليك الموضوع ده. 5- بناءا علي ال api اللي هتعطيه ليه يقدر كمان يطلعلك الكود أو ال client code بتاع ال api . 6- تقدر تعمل Mock لل api. وحاجات كتييير تاني. لينك التحميل: lnkd.in/dpdRvtjn

I've been a huge proponent of design-first approaches to API development, which has worked spectacularly well with GraphQL since the inception of Ariadne in the Python world. Yesterday I stumbled across Apidog and it's the most excited I've been about an API product in a long time. It's exactly the product I would have wanted to see if I'd gone down this road myself. Hoje, tive a oportunidade de mergulhar em um novo mundo de possibilidades! Descobri o Apidog, uma ferramenta que promete revolucionar a forma como testo minhas API's em Laravel, Nodejs e qualquer outra ferramenta de backend. Já familiarizado com Insomnia e o Postman, não sabia que encontraria uma interface tão intuitiva com funcionalidades poderosas como essa ferramenta. Mas, o que mais me surpreendeu foi a capacidade de simular um ambiente de teste completo, sem a necessidade de escrever testes unitários. Isso me poupou tempo e esforço, permitindo que eu me concentrasse em outras tarefas. Agradeço ao Erick Wendel pela excelente dica no YouTube. Apidog = Postman + Swagger Editor + Swagger UI + Stoplight + ReadMe + JMeter + SoapUI + Mock Di posisi sebagai System Analyst, aku sering pakai Apidog buat memastikan API specification sesuai dengan use case. Kerjaanku gak cuma berhenti di desain spesifikasi aja, tapi juga kadang harus nge-test API, bahkan sampai ke performance testing. Nah, di sinilah Apidog benar-benar ngebantu banget. Satu hal yang bikin aku jatuh hati adalah fleksibilitasnya. Misalnya, pas lagi review spesifikasi API, aku bisa langsung buka Apidog dan lihat apakah responnya sesuai sama yang dibutuhkan use case. Kalau ada yang kurang, tinggal revisi di situ juga. Respon API bisa diekstrak jadi response definition atau example, dan ini bikin aku gampang ngejelasin ke tim lain, terutama backend engineer atau API tester. Aku juga sering pakai fitur mock server-nya. Ini lifesaver banget, terutama kalau backend belum selesai tapi testing udah harus jalan. Tinggal bikin mock API, dan semuanya beres dalam hitungan menit. Selain itu, waktu performance testing, Apidog juga bikin hidup lebih gampang. Tanpa perlu pindah tools, aku bisa langsung ngecek apakah API-nya stabil pas kena banyak request. Efisien banget. Yang bikin lebih seru lagi adalah fitur online collaboration-nya. Semua tim dari API designer, backend, sampai tester bisa lihat update secara real-time. Ini penting banget biar gak ada miskomunikasi, apalagi kalau project-nya melibatkan banyak orang. Updated my postman and it came with some UI bugs that made me so uncomfortable and I couldn't work. It made me explore alternatives and I found that Apidog has one and it's crazy, I love it. I think you should try it, you can also import your postman collections and environments

Nos dois últimos dias mergulhei em API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB da AWS, integrados para fazer uma API de cálculos de índices econômicos. Encontrei a APIDOG. Isso mesmo! hahahahah, parece que foi até o Osmar Malheiros que deu o nome, mas dessa vez não. Animal essa plataforma de desenvolvimento de APIs. Reúne tudo em um só lugar, desenvolvimento, automate, test. Desenvolvi tudo dentro dentro da AWS, com Pyhton, mas para testar e documentar usei a APIDOG. Recomendo muuuito. É muito rápida, tem muitos recursos e o que matou a pau foi a documentação gerada automaticamente com URL público. Ah! Aproveita e dá uma olhada no projeto que já está na RapidAPI disponível para assinatura.

ApidogというOpenAPIのyamlを読み込ませるとバックエンドの実装が出来ていなくても爆速でAPIモックを作ってくれる優れものを最近始めて触った。でも一人で開発してるしhogeとか仮の値をレスポンスするAPIはすぐ作れてコードは無駄にならないので、良く考えたら使う機会無かった。
