I've just wrapped the 10 week 1:1 course with Emma & Owen and I highly recommend this for any creative producer, regardless of what level or experience you have - I've been in this role & industry for nearly 10 years and yet I found it so interesting and comforting to have this type of coaching.
The training reassured me in what I already know whilst opening my mind to what it really means to be a creative producer. There really is no official training for producers, so there are alot of insecurities that we experience throughout our journey, Emma & Owen made me feel this was a shared feeling among producers, and that there were some basic fundamental strategies and tools to help navigate the producer journey.
The course was well prepared with helpful documents that clearly outlined & identified each of the principals and functions. They also prepare tangible tools & resources which I found extremely useful!

Making the intangible tangible is never an easy feat, but with the AoP approach to scoping creativity, it didn't only become easier but also very fun! I really enjoyed that team ideation was center stage and that Emma made everyone participate, regardless of role/title. The techniques I learned in the AoP training have helped me communicate more clearly with not only client, but also my team - especially during the internal / client kick-off. I'd say the opportunities for participation was the best thing about the training - because it allowed for us to work through what we'd learned in relation to our specific industry / project needs. AOP is a game-changer for any Producer wanting to up their skills. I completed the Scoping Creativity course in December, taught by Emma. I had so many light bulb moments in the 3-hour session. My mindset has completely shifted when it comes to managing scope. My heart used to sink when I'd see change requests from clients (especially the more difficult ones,) but I now see the opportunities. I'm more confident embracing change and handling the unknown. I'm already looking forward to AOP releasing more courses in the future. Count me in.

The training has helped us identify some missed opportunities in our scoping processes, that we're now looking to bring into projects. Also, as the majority of our producer team was present, it helps getting everyone on the same page and comparing notes. The best thing about the training session self was the interactivity - going from theory and working through a few fun toy example situations to experience hands on what Emma explained just earlier. Its a valuable and comprehensive end to end overview of the scoping process, without overloading you with information. From whatever angle you come at it, I am sure there will be valuable bits for you to take home.

Moving into a producer role for the first time, this training really gave me a complete overview of the profession and equipped me with both a theoretical understanding and a technical framework of how to excel in this role. It made me see clearly the impact a producer can have within a creative team.

Following the development of our activity, we were looking for a training course offered by experienced professionals who know the field so that we could move forward on a solid basis and open our vision to new ways of working. And the contract was fully met by Emma and Owen!
On the one hand, Emma and Owen are very available even outside our training sessions and are very attentive.
On the other hand, the courses are precise, clear and detailed. We can understand the real problems we encounter on a daily basis.
