Beekeeper Studio is BY FAR the most user-friendly DB GUI out there! I started using it a year ago and now our whole team bought a license. The multi-DB support is simply awesome as I use 4 different types of databases on a regular basis. Plus it works on Windows and Mac.

So far the most comprehensive DB admin GUI out there. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is I cannot claim to have used it exhaustively only having discovered it two weeks ago. But so far, mySQL, MSSQL and Postgres in one tool is simply incredible. Planning to purchase once pay day hits.

It is extremely fast and lightweight. It does what it says it does quite well and quickly. I migrated from PgAdmin cos after I upgraded to latest version, it was hanging and freezing a lot that it was easier to go back to version 4 or just move on. I would say I save nearly an hour (at least) running queries and checking db changes mainly.

Absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend Beekeeper Studio highly enough. So many database GUIs come across as a painful afterthought, and one that never changes. Beekeeper is desgined from the very core as a user-centric treat. Well done.

Beekeeper Studio is hands down the best SQL editor I’ve used in years. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and modern, making legacy tools look completely prehistoric. It’s fast, handles multiple database types smoothly, and the SQL auto-complete is incredibly helpful. If you want a powerful, cross-platform database tool that doesn't sacrifice UX, this is the one to get. 5 stars!

Really clean and pleasant interface. Doesn't bombard you with buttons like most DB apps that feel like they are from 20 years ago. However the app only connects to a single DB and sometimes we need cross-DB queries.

We were having problems with other tools while running queries returning somewhat large result sets and started looking for alternatives. Beekeeper Studio was the solution. Fast, easy to use and much lower memory footprint. Recommended.

I had been using the free version of Beekeeper studio for a while, but when I needed to work with some MongoDB databases I upgraded to the paid version. And honestly, I was up and running in no time. Beekeeper is slick, fast, and *it just works*. Very intuitive, very easy to use. I work with MongoDB, Postgresql, SQL Server, and other databases in my job, and having one tool that can talk to them all is just wonderful. Thank you, Matthew and team!

Its a great educational tool for my son to learn SQL and databases in A level (Grade 11/12) computer science. Beekeeper really brings a dry theoretical topic to life, and allows him to understand and try key DBMS concepts in a rapid prototyping environment. We have tried many other tools, and we find Beekeeper to be the best in visualizing the changes almost interactively.

Beekeeper Studio is one of the few database tools I’m willing to keep using. The grid editing experience is great, and everyday data browsing and editing feels very natural. Connection management and object browsing could still improve, but overall it’s easier to live with than many alternatives.

Two key things. First, connectivity. I don't have to use DB Browser for SQLite, MySQL Workbench for MySQL, psql for PostgreSQL. Beekeeper works with them all. Second: AI. The AI feature compiles English into SQL.

Great product overall. I love the look and feel, the ability to color-code environments, and the support for multiple databases. It’s stable and pleasant to use day to day. I’m currently on the free version, which meets most of my needs. The main limitation for me is the lack of data import, which is only available in the paid version. Because this is something I only need occasionally, I can’t quite justify upgrading at this point and still rely on DBeaver for that specific task. Otherwise, Beekeeper Studio works very well.

My cloud based db solution closed down their frontend UI, to focus on branching, so I needed something else to view/edit the db ... Beekeeper is as advertised, and it's free for what I currently need. If I ever need more, I'll likely just upgrade to a paid account.

I also appreciate the shared queries for workspaces in the ultimate edition - makes it quick and easy to stand up connections on a new computer. I used to be a huge fan of Sequel Pro, which then turned into Sequel Ace. It's still a great tool but I needed something that was cross platform. I struggled to find a replacement and was literally keeping MacBooks around to run Sequel Pro but finally found Beekeeper. Literally it allowed me to be free of Macs. It's not even that other tools don't have the same features, its the look, feel, and general workflow that Beekeeper has that other tools don't match. That being said, the cloud workspace feature that lets me save my connections in different "Teams" is actually huge and something almost no competitor has.

It works nicely in Linux. I was used to using TablePlus in MacOs. It's slower, but that is to be expected. Nothing to complain. Copy to IN queries and JSON / CSV copies have been used quite regularly now. Only minus is from the relative speed difference, note that I'm not comparing it to DataGrip or similar even slower alternatives.
