As a JetBrains user, I normally rely on their built-in DB explorers. However, when I need to hop between connections, I prefer using a designated application. For the longest time I used DBeaver. After discovering Beekeeper, I've come to enjoy it a lot! I've only used it for 2 weeks, but I've already been recommending it because of it's usefulness! Extra bonus point for being available for Linux, MacOS, and Windows. So regardless of what OS you end up on, you can take Beekeeper with you.

I've used DBeaver (CE) before and Beekeeper has a much cleaner UI. I really like being able to choose colours for different connections so I don't accidentally run queries in the wrong environment.
My feature request would be being able to choose the default behaviour when clicking the 'Run' button so I could have it be "Run current" instead of running all the queries.

Unlike other SQL/DB GUIs out there (I'm looking at you DBeaver), Beekeeper does an excellent job of getting out of my way so I can concentrate on writing clear concise code. When I need to go deeper, into the table structure, it's a right-click away. Awesome!

I tried out this product since I needed to convert my SQLite database into JSON files.
I tried an online converter, but wasn't happy with the results.
It was really easy using their Export feature and got my database into .JSON, and .CSV files. It was quick and easy, and the files looked really correct and good; I was really impressed.
Because of this, I decided to buy the product for a year.

I started helping my sister learn SQL recently, and up to yesterday she was just using `psql` in a terminal. While functional, Beekeeper has been much more helpful for her. It's super quick and easy to use, the UI is just slick there is no better description. Before this I used pgAdmin and whilst yes it probably does a lot more, most of it I didn't use. Beekeeper Studio does the fundamentals extremely well and I can't wait to make the most of ultimate.

Coming from MySQL Workbench, it has been a pleasure acquiring a license for Beekeeper Studio.
Viewing and exploring the data comes really easy with this nice piece of software.
Only thing I would suggest as an improvement, would be the capability of saving a query as an sql script into the file system (and being able to load it too). Other than that, highly recommended for anyone who writes SQL queries for a living.

I'm a software engineer and I develop on Mac and Windows. I have access to multiple DB tools via work but nothing that meets my requirement of being fast, easy to use, and works on both Mac and Windows. I really like the no-nonsense focus on data browsing and SQL querying that Beekeeper offers. Having the community version just made my evaluation process easier.

I've used BeeKeeper Studio for several years now and it works great. Most of my database access is with Postgres and I've had no issues using it. I definitely recommend it. It's very useful to have all the saved queries as well as the ability to do direct database updates when appropriate.

Very nice Application with a clean UI. Its the only SQL Tool I found with excelent Support for 4k screens. And I really love the ability to quicksearch in columns without have to write full SQL Statements.

I use Postgres, MySQL, SQLite, Oracle and MS SQL as an engineer and Beekeeper does the lot with a very smooth and spacious natural intuitive interface. If you short list Beekeper Studio I'm pretty sure it will become your go-to.
