Wall of Love for Biblically Speaking

Stumbled across, Biblically-speaking. I think it was professor Walton speaking about the book of Job. And the exchange was so rich and profound. Another exchange was with a fellow that parced language from Romans 5. And he described how the translation missed the idea or intent of Paul's statement. That we sin in the same manner that Adam sinned. As opposed to we sin because Adam's sin is projected to us via DNA. Anyhow, I absolutely love the down to earth-ness of the exchanges. A recent episode was about original sin. While I have absolutely zero affinity to that conclusion, the exchange was both honorable and fair to those who may affirm it. I would only ask if potential subjects may be considered. I would absolutely love to listen to a conversation that would explore the idea of an idea or conclusion that outside of original sin. Truth be told. Alot of church fellowships seem to embrace the foundation of theological framework from the premise of being born with original sin. If that's not the case, and we are born independent from a ' sin nature' Then a whole new paradigm is introduced. Anyhow, love biblically-speaking!!

Biblically Speaking is a 5 podcast! It’s engaging and entertaining, but mostly enlightening! Cass hosts an excellent interview with down to earth scholars, that really help the “average person” understand and connect with the Bible in a digestible format. I love it, I donate monthly, and I don’t have any suggestions for improvement. VictorB

I have been digging deep to lean in to God and learn the deeper wisdom than what is there at Church < which I love! I love the Sanctification Gap plus many others. I am a researcher and knowing the Bible is valid and reliable was amazing!

I found the way that different views were spoken of in a respectful way very valuable. It has given me a better understanding of how scripture is full of "and" statements and not "but" statements. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to dive deeper into their faith and really want to build on top of the foundational truths of Christianity. I love the episode on understanding free will.

A few weeks ago, I came across Cass's podcast, where she hosted Dr. Marcus Ross, a paleontologist, to discuss the young Earth theory, drawing connections to Gensis, the flood, and scientific evidence. It was the first time I found a podcast that brought together scholarly ideas and biblical teachings so well. As someone who is still a baby Christian, I'm excited to learn more about my faith. This podcast has been such a great resource, helping me explore real-world questions while diving into biblical wisdom. It's definitely helped me feel more connected to my faith. I just finished episode 51 and love it! I feel like all of it was sooo good. I loved the point he made about the extinction of certain species because of the lack of habitat and food necessary after the floor. I never really considered that. Also the Neanderthal stuff was shocking. I knew our genomes 🧬 overlapped but didn’t even think about how they could have fit into biblical history. It was so interesting. Cassian did a great job. I love geology/rocks/ancient history and I love Jesus and I often feel like I have to hold those things in separate hands a lot of time. It was so refreshing being able to put those together.

I would 100% recommend these podcasts to anyone wanting a deeper understanding of Biblical concepts or principles. So far my favorite episodes have been understanding the gospels and mental health versus spiritual warfare. The episodes are not just educational, but also entertaining. Love what you’re doing!

It was really cool to be able to ask one on one questions via Zoom to theologians, each of them were super helpful, I felt like I was talking to a friend .Then I became a part of the community, during the chat I found a connection with someone with some common issues and now we relate on a level that made me feel like it was more than a coincidence, one of those God things!

As a young woman and almost wife, I wanted to dig deeper into my understanding of who God is. I wanted to be well versed in the topics that are so challenging to talk about these days. I am someone who only seeks to love and care for friends and family in my community… not ever say or do anything to hurt their image of who God is. This booklet helped me dig deeper into theology of why God seeks to protect us, how we were made in His image, and how to ultimately love others through compassion and truth. There is also so much out there today that the world (or even some Christians) says we should be scared of, but God says do not be afraid. He gives us everything we need through His word and the Holy Spirit to have discernment. This booklet and videos helped remind me of these truths and feel empowered to pray and dig into the Word of God and biblical truths rather than the news or my fear. Thank you so so much!!! :)

I like that Cas has the eagerness to learn new things about the Bible. She comes across as a humble person and that is just what the Bible teaches us to be. She is a very good reader on her Bible reading lives. And if you have a Bibical question Cass is your girl. She will ask an expert for you on her podcasts. No question too big or small. Sometimes a good question asked is better than the answer to it. Would highly recommend listening to her. Her exhuberance to learn will motivate and bless you as well.

I can’t tell you how glad I am that I found Biblically speaking! I really like the variety of theologians and scholars that Cassia interviews, my favorite thing to do is randomly scroll through her Instagram page and just tap on a frame to be surprised who she has interviewed and what the subject is. I’m not sure I could take a class in theology, but this often gives a short edited version of the interview, that I can later listen to on Spotify. I really also like the daily scripture readings, I just put the sound on while I’m driving or on my break at work, but where I think Cassia shines the most is when she answers questions live, her animated presents and energy really lift my spirits!

I want to encourage all of you who are following Biblically Speaking to do so consistently. Your host asks very heartfelt and honest questions to topics that many of you might have considered but may have been discouraged by fear to ask, or by condescending answers from church leaders. (sadly majority of church leaders are unqualified or inept - this is a topic in itself) It is admirable that Cassie seeks those who are qualified to give answers, to which you the listener can get a stronger grasp to what is going on. However you the listener must master, know, understand, and comprehend your Bible. Never ever take a podcast or "scholar" as the final authority and say so to ADONAI's Word. Each one of us will be accountable for what we believe and understand and ultimately do James 1:22 Be a doer and not only a hearer deceiving yourself.
