In 1992 I decided I wanted to move from my role as professional services manager for Unisys Australia into marketing - but I had no marketing training. So I bought a university text on marketing and started to study.

It was absolutely useless. Full of statistics, irrelevant case studies and very hard to understand - and I'm by no means unintelligent. I threw it away and took a different approach. Ever since then I've judged a book not only by the quality of the content but how easy it is to read and understand.

This book passes both tests. Brandon provides acres of brilliant information and he does so in a way it's extremely easy to understand and to put into action. It's not only incredibly useful, it's practical, fun and personal. Highly recommended.
