I've spent years curating a list of "programmer tool" websites - you know, things like hex calculators, JSON formatters, UUID generators, BASE64 decoders and the like. But even my bookmarks bar was becoming unwieldy, and I was getting sick of the increasing ads plastered over most of those third party sites.
Which is why I was ecstatic to find DevUtils. It as EVERYTHING I need as a developer in one spot. No flashy bells and whistles here. Just exactly what I want - fast and no fuss.
It was an absolute "no brainer" to buy a $25 licence within minutes of downloading the app (which lets me use it on both my iMac on my desk and my MacBook Pro that I travel with).

As a professional Digital Agency, we develop mobile apps, websites and web apps. Often we need to convert data across different formats, but cannot use online tools due to the sensitive nature of some data. DevTools lets us do this securely on our local Macs. There’s so much grunt work that developers have to waste time on. Wouldn’t it be great to to have a swiss army knife that can cut through all this overhead? @DevUtils_app does everything including generating QR codes, beautifying code, previewing HTML. 🧰

The first @Setapp app that surprised me was @devutils_app. I thought all the apps would be very broad, so I was excited to find a dev-specific tool. This tool lets you test regular expressions, format JSON, and diff text, among other things. bit.ly/3rJsTBB
