We support companies from this industry in all aspects of environment, compliance, product testing and quality etc. I got to know about this course through LinkedIn and particularly through the free ESRS case studies and was immediately drew by the honest, sometimes even blunt yet respectful and constructive criticisms and suggestions that were made regarding each case study. This open minded culture translated to the course itself with pratical examples and questions that require critical thinking and a more in-depth understanding of the spirit of the CSRD regulation rather than just the letter of said regulation. I cannot recommend this course enough for any professional looking to establish a stable base of knowledge to build upon.

Highly enjoyed the case study - great content, great graphics and what a treat to be able to read it through in just a few minutes!! I know, the attention span of goldfish :)) Absolutely agree with Philippe Diaz that a generic, mass survey is not fit for doing a materiality assessment. At the most, it can be one supportive tactic, especially for the outside-facing ESRS criteria. If you ask a bunch of random people if your employees are a material topic, they´re probably going to answer "no" :)

I look at some every week # CSRD reports. The Palau case studies are very useful to delve deeper into. This will point out good examples and examples with points of interest. This week Metsä Group .Despite the fact that CSRD reports are only mandatory for reporting year 2024, many Scandinavian companies already report according to the new # ESRS standards.What is striking about the Metsa Group double materiality assessment is the extensive explanation of likelihood and impact presented in the matrix. As an Environmental and Social specialist, I often grapple with navigating through various standards from organizations like the World Bank, UNDP, and WWF. There are like the ESRS but from international donors/NGOs. Complex to understand, dealing with multiple topics, etc. Thus, the ESRS Navigator was like a revelation for me. Its user-friendly interface, intuitive design, and AI integration make navigating through complex sustainability standards a breeze. It not only streamlines the process but also inspires me with its potential to simplify compliance across multiple standards. Looking forward to the complete ESRS package!!

Just a little question, since many companies will transition from GRI standards to the new ESRS, wouldn't it be helpful to add, where applicable, the former GRI references alongside the new ESRS? As a Sustainability Engineer for a global manufacturing company who is working on implementation of CSRD, this tool is very useful to understand the requirements of CSRD, especially the various data points. As feedback I would consider the option to save when you tick certain boxes on the datapoints. This would allow the user to track which datapoints are yet to be worked on.

🧐Looking for a short and fun upskilling on the basics of the climate change? 🖥Recently, I have come across an exciting piece created by AI, summing up the whole IPCC report in 10 short chapters with quizzes and other gamification features. Lovely graphics and a very clear flow! Doesn't matter if you would like to use it to upskill yourself or as a part of a company/community/students upskilling, I believe that this format works for any audience! 👏Big kudos to Jerome Cloetens, Simon Hendrickx and Tobias Zethoven from Palau Project!
