I just attended the kickoff for the 30-Day AI Reinvention Sprint with FlipWork, and I couldn't be more excited about what's ahead. This isn't just another online course. It's a structured reinvention blueprint — rethinking how I lead, how I work, and how I position myself as irreplaceable in an AI-powered world. The truth is, the professional landscape is shifting faster than ever. And I've made the decision I'm not going to wait and watch it happen. I'm going to get ahead of it.

Over the next 30 days, I'm committing to:

✅ Redefining how I show up as a leader in an AI-driven environment

✅ Learning how to rebuild workflows around the tools and technologies reshaping every industry, and

✅ Positioning myself for the next phase of my career with clarity and intention

This feels like the right move at the right time. I'm energized and ready. To everyone else navigating this shift, you're not alone. Let's grow together.

Nikki Barua I am so fortunate to be a part of FlipWork and the entire cohort!

I attended this season and am now officially enrolled in the program at FlipWork, and it’s been eye-opening. I thought I understood AI. Turns out, I was only scratching the surface. As a founder of a small business, efficiency isn’t optional, it’s survival. What’s powerful about this experience is not just learning tools, but understanding how to build agents, design workflows, and truly integrate AI into daily operations. The shift is real: from using AI occasionally to thinking in AI systems. I’m already seeing how this will help me operate at a completely different level - doubling efficiency without doubling resources. Grateful to Nikki Barua, Monica Marquez and FlipWork team for building something so impactful. You continue to impress and inspire. You’re unstoppable!

FlipWork is building a new kind of leadership muscle, and I love the workouts. Learning Agentic AI with FlipWork isn’t just learning a tool—it’s more like building athleticism. It takes reps. Rules. Understanding the mechanics of workflows, and how each “agent” performs, or groups of them swarm. As Chair of three companies, this is an edge: not just using AI, but setting the rules and training the system, and growing confidence where it’s most needed as an E leader to hit a few more home runs in my career. Flip score up ⬆️ Game on 👩‍🎓 Thanks for the opportunity to ad to your post Moe. Nikki and Monica have a game-changing curriculum here! I’m pinching myself daily that I have the time to do it, and the access to it. #grateful.

I couldn’t agree more. I have seen first hand how Nikki Barua has grown through each metamorphosis, but her core philosophy and guiding light has never changed. Her gift of giving and sharing her insights have left this world a better place 💕

The AI job search breakthrough I wish I'd had sooner: I used to think I needed to chase every new AI tool that launched. The pressure to "keep up" was exhausting.

Then I realized: staying relevant isn't about knowing every platform — it's about choosing the right tools for my work and going deep.

As LinkedIn's UK Country Manager noted, "AI is now often the first to review a job application" and "applying for roles that genuinely match your skills will always outperform sending lots of generic applications."

My new approach:

✓ One tool for resume optimization (going deep, not wide)

✓ Strategic transparency about AI use in interviews

✓ Leveraging my experience to know what "good" looks like — AI just helps me get there faster

The real advantage in 2026 isn't sending 200 applications. As one job seeker shared: "I applied to 400 jobs with a generic AI bot and got zero calls. I switched to targeting high-match roles and got 3 interviews in a week. Quality beats volume."

The shift from tool-chasing to strategic selection changed everything. Now I use AI as my amplifier, not my replacement.

What's your approach to staying relevant without burning out?

My sincere thanks to Nikki Barua and Monica Marquez, M. Ed. at FlipWork for their guidance and support in this new, exciting journey of AI!

Most professionals with flexible schedules are drowning in morning chaos without realizing it. I was stuck in what I now call "morning drift" – starting each day reactive instead of intentional. My priorities around AI learning, Career design and Health were getting buried under urgent but unimportant tasks. Then I tried something different. I used Claude to completely redesign my daily schedule around what actually matters to me. The AI helped me map out time blocks that protected my core priorities while eliminating the decision fatigue and distraction that was eating my mornings. An AI-built tracker allows me to record how I actually meet these goals and modifies the subsequent days. It's my accountability partner in action. The result? I reclaimed 10 hours weekly. But here's the deeper insight: Most of us think productivity is about doing more faster. It's actually about doing the right things consistently. When you align your daily structure with your true priorities, time stops feeling scarce and starts feeling abundant. What's one priority that gets buried in your daily chaos that deserves protected time? Thanks to Nikki Barua, Monica Marquez, M. Ed. and FlipWork

Why I Brief AI Like I Brief My Best Analyst

I've always felt comfortable with technology and believe we need to move with the times. Recently, I've taken a deep interest in AI; particularly how we humans can co-work with AI in this era of innovation. This is leading me to develop my own learning journey and intepretation, as a finance and communications professional: how can I leverage AI in both my professional and personal life? This note reflects some of my thinking, and perhaps it will resonate with others navigating the same journey.

After 25 years of translating complex strategies into actionable plans, I've learned something crucial about working with AI: it's not the technology that fails us; it's how we communicate with it.

Here's what most leaders miss about AI: AI learns through proximity and mathematical patterns. It's incredibly smart, but it only knows what it's seen before. Without proper context, you get answers that reflect historical patterns; including the biased ones. Think of it this way: Imagine hiring your most talented analyst, but they've only learned by watching how things were done in the past. If you don't give them the full picture of what "good" looks like now, they'll replicate old patterns- including the problematic ones you're trying to move beyond.

The solution is simple: Brief AI like you would brief your best team member.

Before asking for anything important:

- Share your goals and constraints

- Describe your audience and what matters to them

- Define what success looks like in your context

- Include the nuances that make your situation unique

It might sound simple, but it can fully unlock the power of what you get back.

The result? AI becomes your strategic partner, not just a faster search engine. The future belongs to leaders who can bridge technical possibility with human adoption. And it all starts with how we communicate.

*What's your experience with giving AI better context? Have you seen the difference it makes?*

Thanks to the talented team at FlipWork, especially Nikki Barua and Monica Marquez, M. Ed. for helping me through this learning journey!

Excellent perspective. Thanks for sharing Jeff. As Board Chair of a small company, this is exactly why I recently completed FlipWork Agentic AI Leader certification program. We’re not reinventing our company because we have too many people. We’re reinventing it so our people can thrive in the AI era — while continuing to build a top-place-to-work culture grounded in transparency, learning, adaptability, and trust. AI fluency is becoming part of our playbook. Not just for efficiency, but for governance, communication, cybersecurity, operational stewardship, and better decision-making across the enterprise ecosystem. The companies that thrive won’t necessarily be the biggest. They’ll be the ones willing to rethink old operating systems early — before they’re forced to. What Julie Sweet is describing is much bigger than technology. It’s organizational evolution. #Love her courage, and as it’s been said: great leaders go first.

I did it. I earned my FlipWork™ Certified Agentic Leader credential. 🏆 I used to think I was "using AI." I'd ask ChatGPT to help me edit an email. Ask Claude to clean up a post. Ask basic research questions. And then I'd close the tab and go back to doing everything else manually.

The truth? I was overwhelmed. The constant headlines about AI changing everything. Every time I tried to figure out where to start, I'd end up more confused than when I began. And underneath all of it, one quiet question I didn't want to ask out loud: How far behind am I?

That's where I started FlipWork's AI Reinvention Sprint. Twelve sessions later, I'm not just using AI differently, I'm thinking differently.

One of my biggest wins --> I built a complete workflow to create event assets that used to take me hours. Manually. Every time. Now? It runs in a fraction of the time, with AI handling the heavy lifting so I can focus on what actually requires me.

But the bigger shift wasn't the workflow. It was realizing that AI isn't something you need to master before you start. You start, and that's how you master it.

If you're sitting where I was, overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, quietly wondering if you're already too far behind, I want you to hear this: You're not behind. You just haven't started yet. And starting is the whole thing.

A heartfelt thank you to Nikki Barua, Monica Marquez, M. Ed., and the entire FlipWork team ❤️ for creating a program that doesn't just teach you about AI, it changes how you see yourself in relation to it. I'm leaving this program not just more capable, but more confident. And thank you to my fellow members who showed up every week with excitement, shared learnings, and inspiring stories.

I did it!! I earned my FlipWork™ Certified Agentic Leader credential. 🏆 This was not a course. This was a full reinvention of how I lead and work in the AI era. I showed up, did the work, and proved the shift happened. Over the past several weeks, I:

✅ Built real AI workflows that save me hours every week
✅ Developed my voice and influence for the AI age
✅ Designed a personal operating system that makes the new way of working my default — not my goal

But here is what surprised me most... using AI shifted how I see myself as a leader. I used to measure my relevance by how many tools I had in my toolkit. That mindset was reactive — not strategic. AI actually taught me to trust my own judgment more. I stopped asking "what can AI do?" and started asking "what do I already know, and how can AI help me do it better?"

That shift made me more intentional, more focused, and more confident in the value I bring. I have always believed in autographing my work with excellence — and AI gave me a faster, sharper way to do exactly that. By sharing what I have learned with the people I care about, I get to advocate for AI and continue to lead from the front. AI does not replace my instincts. It sharpens them. 💡

The best part? My growth is not just something I feel. It is documented and measurable, with FlipFactor diagnostic scores to back it up.

🚀 If you are a leader navigating the AI era and wondering where to start — this is where. The shift is real. And it is possible.

I graduated this week as a FlipWork Certified Agentic Leader. 🎓 I’m genuinely excited about this, because it feels less like an ending - than a new beginning. One thing I’ve learned over the years building EarthKind is that some of the best innovations are born out of necessity, not $$ abundance. EarthKind was a pioneer in online social reviews because people thought natural & humane pest control couldn’t possibly work. Survival demanded #trust as we brought the first-ever Fed EPA Registered botanical rodent repellent to market for a public health risk pest. #SocialNature #BazaarVoice #PowerReviews were there to help us get it right, and pioneer a new category. We became one of the first 100 companies on the NetSuite cloud platform—integrating CRM, eCommerce, and ERP systems long before most companies understood what integrated systems could do. Domiciled in North Dakota, this meant we could keep serving our customers (from home) through blizzards and road closures⛄️. We were also early adopters of HubSpot (first 100 as I recall) and an early adopter with Pattern, an e-commerce accelerator helping category leaders grow in the digital marketplace. Why? Because when you’re building a purpose-driven business starting with nothing more than the land you stand on, you learn quickly that heart, ingenuity, and resourcefulness can outsize big budgets. We were pioneers in SEO cloud computing and naturally smarter approaches to growth because we had to. To earn our first million customers we didn’t knock on doors—we clicked into hearts. Turns out, a mouse can build a house. And now, here we are again—with more resources, still re-inventing, using first-principles thinking: learning, adapting, and building for the AI era while connecting more people to our products, purpose, and the future we believe is possible. Next week, EarthKind’s Sales & Marketing Director Greg Sweeney will join a panel discussion on AI and humanizing brands—exactly the kind of conversation I encourage all pioneers to do. It’s important to share that while AI can accelerate systems, only people can create the trust and belonging that grows a business. Technology must help us become more human, not less. Let’s be wise with it. To all the graduates of 2026🎓: Congratulations. Keep learning. Keep evolving. Keep building businesses and communities that leave this beautiful, bountiful planet better than you found it. As a founder who loves spending time on “groundbreaking” technologies (can’t get the farmer+futurist out of me 🌱), I’m deeply grateful for our team of leaders who steward the opportunities and resources God has entrusted to us to serve humanity. #faith #innovation #compassion #excellence is how we roll. May we use what we learn to build a kinder future together. 💚 #ClassOf2026 #AgenticLeader #FaithAndInnovation #PeaceOverPoisons #Leadership

I just completed FlipWork's Agentic AI program, led by two people I already deeply admired: Monica Marquez, M. Ed. Marquez and Nikki Barua. I trusted them before I fully knew what "agentic" even meant in this context. That trust was more than rewarded. What I did not expect was how transformational this experience would be. Not because it taught me more of how AI works, or how to build a workflow, create agents, or more (though it did all of that). It changed the way I think. About problems. About leadership. About my own value in a world that is evolving faster than most of us are ready to admit. I signed up on my own, because I genuinely believe that intellectual curiosity is not optional. It is a responsibility. And if change is coming (and it is), I would rather be ahead of it than watching it from the sidelines. Here is what hit me hardest: I spent 25 years building judgment, context, and expertise that no model can replicate. This course did not make me feel threatened by AI. It helped me understand exactly how to bring all of that to what AI can do. That combination? That is the real opportunity. Monica and Nikki are visionaries. Their course is the best I have seen on this topic, full stop. They do not ask you to surrender to technology. They ask you to lead it. And they show you how. We cannot stop progress. We never could. But we absolutely can choose to get ahead of it, use it intentionally, and make our work and our lives better because of it. I am proud to have earned my Certified Agentic Leader certification today. And I feel genuinely ready to step into this next evolution, for my team, for my organizations, and for everything I do. If you have been curious about where to start, start here. I could not recommend Monica and Nikki more!

Over the past several weeks, I built real AI workflows that save me hours every week, developed my voice and influence for the AI age, and designed a personal operating system that makes the new way of working my default, not my goal. The best part? My growth is not just something I feel. It is documented and measurable, with FlipFactor diagnostic scores to back it up. If you are a leader navigating the AI era and wondering where to start, this is where. The shift is real, and it is possible. Thank you to the FlipWork team and my incredible cohort for pushing me to become who I needed to become. 🙌

Over the last 30 days I embarked on the Agentic Leader bootcamp. This bootcamp helped me transform how I think, work, lead and operate in this evolving AI era. During the training, Nikki and Monica assisted me in having a behavioral/mindset shift and empowered me to become an agentic leader through practical application. At the end of the course, my archetype was deemed as an Orchestrator with my AV and ES scores improving combined overall with 4.2 points! In practice I’ve identified various workflows where I can embed AI- enabled templates/playbooks to improve consistency and output, I’ve created a notebook at work with my direct report to capture repeatable prompts and workflow patterns to help lift broader team adoption. My advice for a novice AI- adopter: take this course, truly transformative in more than one ways, but also think of the AI platform as a co-worker. Once you begin mind-shift, that’s the first step and one that many haven’t taken but also take it in small steps: 1- Start with 1-2 high frequency workflows 2- Use AI as a “first draft + thinking partner”, not a final answer 3- Be explicit in prompts and provide constraints. The more prescriptive you are, the better and more accurate the output will be.

I started out thinking of AI as something adjacent to my work, like a tool I could pull out when I happened to need it. Going through the FlipWork Sprint and thinking more deeply about who I am, how I work, and where my priorities are helped me see that AI can be much more integrated into the way I operate. I don't always have to meet it halfway. In the right areas, I can let it go all in. That mindset shift has been especially important after spending years working in familiar rhythms.

FlipWork was unlike anything I expected. The program wasn't focused on teaching tools, it was focused on changing how leaders think and act in the face of AI disruption. It reminded me of the best leadership development I've been through, where the real work is identity and mindset, not just skill-building. What made it even more powerful was watching Nikki herself use AI to grow her company. Her market signals prompt was one of the most detailed and practical things I took away. I came in as someone already comfortable with AI, but I left with something more valuable: a real understanding of how non-technical business leaders are adopting AI and using it to lead more efficiently. That perspective will shape how I lead my own teams going forward.

FlipWork fundamentally changed how I operate as an executive. Instead of giving me another set of AI tools to learn, it provided a structured way to rethink how I work: what requires my judgment, what can be systematized, and where I can create more leverage. I’ve built a way of working that helps me prepare earlier, think more strategically, and stay ahead of what’s coming rather than constantly reacting to it. The most valuable part of FlipWork was realizing that I could redesign how I lead around the things only I can bring. That has been transformative for both my capacity and the way I show up as a leader.

I came to FlipWork depleted and honestly pretty resistant to AI. Changes in my role had left me questioning where my expertise fit. FlipWork helped me reconnect with the value of what I already bring: my judgment, context, lived experience, and ability to keep people at the center of complex decisions. I learned how to make that expertise more explicit and use it to direct AI rather than be displaced by it. The biggest change wasn’t just how I use technology; it was how I see myself and the value I bring to the work. I left the Sprint feeling confident, reenergized, and like I had found my place again.

After 37 years as a hotel technology consultant, adopting AI was a challenge. But FlipWork provided the framework for me to review my current work practices and redesign them using the power of AI. My productivity has improved significantly, allowing me to provide more accurate and timely technology recommendations for my consulting clients. I have learnt so much and I’m still only scratching the surface as I build my AI twin! Thank you for such a wonderfully curated experience. I would happily recommend the FlipWork Sprint to anyone, including my clients.

What worked for me was that FlipWork helped me amplify the human side of AI first. We operate in a large organization with real IT guardrails. The Sprint gave me more confidence in how to work within those constraints while still figuring out how we move forward as a culture. I feel more knowledgeable about AI and much more confident in our ability to navigate the next steps. And on a personal level, I love that the experience has actually helped me recognize my own unique strengths as a human better.

That journey changes everything. #curiosity #hunnspoke #beyonce #SashaFierce #unlearning #AI #contextswitch

30 days ago, I joined the AI Reinvention Sprint with FlipWork. At the time, I barely scratched the surface of what AI could do. These past 30 days changed that. From learning how to craft prompts that actually produced results, to building workflows and agents — the growth has been real. The sprint measures progress through a confidence score. Mine increased by 1.23 points, moving me from an AI Explorer to an Orchestrator mindset. That shift wasn’t just about tools, it was about trusting myself to redesign how I work. I put that learning into practice and built an AI-Powered Job Application Engine.

As an active job seeker, the cycle is: read the job post → tailor the resume → draft the cover letter → repeat. That loop was exhausting me. Two, maybe three applications in, then burnout. With this workflow, what used to take 45 minutes now takes 7.

The insight I’m carrying forward: AI isn’t about replacing your expertise — it’s about amplifying your capacity to act on it. To remove friction from the repetitive, and create space for the strategic.

If you’re on the fence about investing in your AI fluency, this is your sign. 🚀

Special thank you to Monica Marquez, M. Ed., Nikki Barua, and my cohort for your support throughout this journey.

And here’s to embracing the power of AI - a tool that continues to shape the future and push us to tap into capabilities we never knew we had.

"What all of this mass commoditization has done is actually made originality more valuable because that's what's scarce. And anything that's scarce becomes more valuable" 💡 Episode 90(!) of The Only Constant is out now! In this episode of The Only Constant, I speak with Nikki Barua, serial entrepreneur, bestselling author, keynote speaker, and co-founder of FlipWork. Named Entrepreneur of the Year and one of Entrepreneur Magazine's 100 Most Influential Women, Nikki has spent 25 years at the intersection of people, technology, and transformation. Drawing on her own journey from Mumbai to building businesses in America, she brings a rare mix of optimism, pragmatism, and cultural depth to one of the most sprawling conversations I've had on the show - spanning agentic AI, identity, urban conformity, and what it really takes for humans to stay relevant. Main topics we discuss include: ⭐ Why agentic AI is already reshaping management, culture, and trust inside enterprises - even before scaled adoption ⭐ The difference between chasing efficiency (a race to the bottom) and reallocating freed capacity into real competitive advantage ⭐ Why cognitive atrophy, not AI slop, is the real danger - and why originality, depth, and craftsmanship become more valuable when average is free ⭐ How "strategic metabolism" and trust, not technology, are the true bottlenecks for enterprise transformation ⭐ The Darwinian shake-out ahead for C-players, B-players, and short-term-thinking executives - and why lazy layoffs destroy institutional knowledge Tune in for a wide-ranging, surprisingly personal conversation that moves from AGI ethics to hillbillies, from Manhattan's density of talent to the elephant in every boardroom. New to The Only Constant? The Only Constant is a #podcast where I speak with global technology and business leaders to explore more than explain in a world of rapidly developing technology. Focus is on AI, ethics, implementation, automation, content, strategy, hype and much more. You find the podcast where you find your podcasts (and links in the newsletter) - so remember to tune in and start exploring with me and my brilliant guests 🔮

A perfect topic for Nikki Barua and Monica Marquez who are currently redefining executive productivity through AI. Their latest venture, FlipWork, is doing incredible work teaching leaders how to build their own tools and lead with confidence in the AI world. Nikki Barua would be a phenomenal guest for your podcast—she is a South Asian trailblazer, a serial entrepreneur, and a leader who was born to elevate others. This is exactly the kind of conversation today’s senior leaders need to hear.

“AI is not the advantage—your system is.” I saw this first as a regenerative farmer: when one element is off, the whole ecosystem responds. We are 💯% stewards of our domains—farmer, chef, builder, home holder. Your class FlipWork is helping me contribute a lifetime of experiences into a new recipe of value & impact for those I’m called to serve. Thanks Monica, and mom💕. This ‘last 30’ will be the most consequential yet, God willing.

New Episode: Empathy Unbound with Nikki Barua Some conversations linger long after they end — this was one of them. In this episode of Empathy Unbound, I had the privilege of speaking with Nikki Barua, CEO and Co-founder of Beyond Barriers and FlipWork.ai. Sadly her business partner Monica Marquez was unable to join us for this recording but Monica, be assured, we were thinking of you. What struck me most in this discussion was Nikki’s clarity of purpose and her unwavering belief that we can – and must – build organisations designed around human potential. Her vision for reimagining work through technology, intentional leadership, and a deep sense of empathy truly resonated. After over 230 conversations, I don’t often say this — but by the end of our talk, I was ready to declare myself a fan. The ambition behind FlipWork and the movement toward empowering experts through guided transformation feels both timely and deeply necessary. "I think about the AGI topic by framing it differently - in that what needs to be true for AGI to be positive for humanity? So for example, does it mean redesigning public policy? Does it mean changing our concept of profession and work? What does it do to the education system? What does it do to human connection? All of those things. And if you don't have answers to any of those and you still pursue it, the consequences will be irreversible." Yesterday evening I had a splendid conversation with Nikki Barua, which, true to form, explored, circled, and went absolutely into the deep end on all things related to AI and change. Nikki is extremely smart, and it shines through - and I found myself pushing all the difficult, complex topics that I think about constantly in this episode. And Nikki catching them all. We talk about agents, change management, SaaS, workforce reconfiguration, efficiency and ROI, executive attrition and long term strategy, tribes, trust, and why people move to big cities when they can work from anywhere... And it all connected in a splendidly explorative episode of The Only Constant, which I can't wait to share in a couple of weeks - so stay tuned! 👉 New to The Only Constant? Also, she is making me blush this week! Very unusual for me, especially for people who know me, I have very thick skin. Hahaha! ☺️ Check out this episode on YouTube: lnkd.in/eqVY9Qr9

This week on the Plant Grow Reap podcast… 🎙️ In this episode, Chelsea is joined by Monica Marquez from FlipWork - a specialist in change management, culture, people and technology - to unpack what it really means to integrate AI into businesses the right way. They challenge the outdated idea that effort equals success, exploring how impact is the new measure of meaningful work. Monica also introduces a powerful reframe: AI isn’t a threat - it’s your intern. When trained well, AI can support teams, reduce friction and make work easier, not replace human expertise. 🎧 Listen now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts & Amazon Music, or watch the full episode on YouTube: lnkd.in/gSTs5BqS

For Nikki Barua reinvention didn't start with a new tactic. It started with letting go of an old belief. When Nikki moved to America from India, she was forced to rethink not just behaviour, but identity. One of the beliefs she had to shed was blind acceptance of hierarchy. That changed how she spoke up, how she learned, and how she led. That's highly relevant for sales leaders. Most teams don't struggle because they lack another framework. They struggle because they're still operating from outdated assumptions: - don't challenge authority - don't question the brief - don't stand out too much - don't disrupt the process. You can train tactics all day. If the belief system stays the same, performance usually snaps back to old levels. Better sales leadership is not just about better methods. It's about helping people let go of beliefs the market no longer rewards. What's one inherited assumption your team needs to drop now? Full episode available now on Higgle: The B2B Sales Club Podcast Listen out next week for Part 2, all about AI enablement for GTM leaders

Great to be at TED’s Technology Summit 2026 last week. A standout was Nikki Barua's presentation — sharp, insightful, and a great reminder of how quickly things are evolving. Technology is moving fast, but the real impact is how we use it to enhance experiences and keep the human element front and centre.

If you still don't know it, you most likely are or work for a legacy business And how do I know it? Because almost 95% of businesses today are legacy businesses, the good part is that becoming an agentic enterprise is around the corner, cheaper and easier than ever. The best part? You can learn all about that by listening to the incredibly smart Nikki Barua in this episode of my podcast #thefuturewasyesterday where we talk about AI adoption, #thefutureofwork and much more. 𝗔𝗜 is 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹ing 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆-level 𝗷𝗼𝗯s Gen Z is walking into a workforce that doesn’t resemble the one their managers grew up in. AI can do a lot of it faster and cheaper. On our podcast ep12, Nikki Barua, (Co-Founder, FlipWork) said it plainly: The industrial-era ladder is gone - and it’s not coming back. 🚨 New Episode Drop: "Reinventing Change Management — and Finding Scale — for the AI Era" I’ve seen transformation stall not because of a lack of vision — but because people simply couldn’t absorb change at this speed. It's a lot to ask, and as some of you have heard me say - not easy to reach "critical mass". In this new episode of Wired for Change Podcast Wired for Change, serial entrepreneur, keynote speaker, best-selling author and transformation strategist Nikki Barua calls out some thoughts that are on the minds of many transformation and change leaders today: “AI is the greatest disruption in modern human history… But the thing that’s completely forgotten in that context is that AI is changing work faster than people can change how they work. If people don’t shift how they work, it doesn’t get adopted.” It’s a simple but powerful reminder that the real barrier to AI transformation isn’t the technology — it’s our capacity to adapt. 🎧 Reinventing Change Management — and Finding Scale — for the AI Era Now live on Wired for Change — available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. As we step into 2026, most people are still talking about AI in terms of fear, disruption, and replacement. In this short clip from Localization Fireside Chat Episode 142, I asked Nikki Barua to look ahead to 2030. Her answer cut through the noise. She does not see technology as something that shrinks humanity. She sees it as something that unlocks it. AI at its best is not about making people obsolete. It is about removing the friction that keeps people stuck so people can focus on what actually matters. That is the shift leaders need to internalize. AI is changing work faster than people can change how they work This requires a new approach to human adaptation, not just technology deployment. A rich discussion with Nikki Barua about how to move past chaotic AI adoption to focused, fast-paced organisational learning cycles. We explore how leaders can transform, innovate, and amplify their impact in the speed of the AI age. It is not just a matter of AI adoption, but how to help humans adapt and relinquish evolutionary design to co-evolve with AI for a new reality that reshapes roles and value creation models. It is vital to keep business fundamentals in sight given that AI is ‘just’ a tech to help meet business objectives, yet shiny object syndrome prevails in many companies - strategic business clarity does not come from AI. We discuss how to ensure sustainable transformation, through continuous iterat-ion in rapid cycles to allow for quick wins, builds internal capability, & maintains relevance in a fast changing AI landscape. The result is Agentic-Human Reinvention; where humans and AI amplify each other, where output becomes exponential without more hours. Where people become People Squared. What specific business objective could AI help your organization achieve in the next 90 days? #leadingagenticAI #reinvention #humansystems #inclusion #agility Watch/listen to the full episode here : iTunes : lnkd.in/dKbYwEb Spotify : lnkd.in/dnrDB7J Website : lnkd.in/dYsbHk8N YouTube : lnkd.in/d-X6nHCQ

If you’re a CEO or founder, you’re in the business of influence, whether you like that label or not. You can build a strong product and have a solid solution. You can even be right about what the market needs. None of that matters if you can’t influence someone to try it, buy it, or stay with it long enough to see value. That’s one of the quiet lessons people learn early in consulting and leadership roles. You can be young, smart, and capable of finding good answers, and still be ineffective. The gap isn’t intelligence. It’s influence. Influence is what turns insight into action. It’s how ideas move from your head into someone else’s priorities. Without it, even good thinking goes nowhere. A lot of founders keep refining the product while avoiding this skill. They assume adoption will follow quality. It rarely does. This clip is from my conversation with Nikki Barua on the CEO and the Salesman podcast. Watch the full episode from the link in the comments. 👇

Most businesses don’t stall because of strategy, they stall because the leader stops growing. That idea kept coming up in my conversation with Nikki Barua on the CEO and the Salesman podcast. We talked about the parts of leadership people don’t usually share publicly. Rejection. Self doubt. Identity shifts. The gap between being capable and being able to clearly explain value. One story stuck with me. Nikki lost 11 RFPs in a row with the same organisation. Instead of walking away, she asked for feedback every time. The twelfth attempt turned into a multi million dollar deal. We also talked about sales, especially for engineers and technical founders who see it as something separate from their real work. If you don’t explain what you’ve built clearly and confidently, people don’t get the benefit of it. That responsibility sits with the leader. There’s a lot of noise right now about AI replacing roles. What matters more is whether leaders stay curious, keep learning, and stop pretending they have all the answers. 🚀 Reinvention Isn’t Optional — It’s Essential I just listened to a powerful episode podcast with Nikki Barua and Ross Dawson that dives into what true reinvention looks like in today’s rapidly changing world. In a time where change is continuous and unavoidable, traditional approaches to innovation and transformation simply aren’t enough anymore. Leaders must rethink how they approach problems, how they define value, and how they lead people through uncertainty. 🎙️ Key takeaways: • Reinvention isn’t a one-off project — it’s a continuous mindset that evolves with change. • AI is not just an IT problem — it needs leadership ownership and cultural adaptation. • Psychological safety and experimentation are foundational to real innovation. • Identity shifts — how people see themselves in an AI-augmented world — are central to adoption. • Organizational structures and team norms matter just as much as tools and tech. This episode reframes transformation not as “doing AI,” but as rethinking how work, people, and leadership must evolve together in the age of AI. 🔗 Listen here: lnkd.in/dGUjR7jH #Leadership #Reinvention #AI #FutureOfWork #OrganizationalChange #Culture #Mindset
