# How to fix cropped testimonials

> If your embedded Wall of Love is cut off or stuck at a short height, get the resize script running again.

An embedded Wall of Love looks cropped when its iframe cannot grow to fit the testimonials: it stops at a short height, shows only the first row, or cuts cards off at the bottom. The embed code resizes the iframe with a small script, so the fix is almost always to get that script running.

---

## How the embed resizes

Every Wall of Love embed has three parts:

```
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://testimonial.to/js/iframeResizer.min.js"></script>
<iframe id="testimonialto-wall-of-love-for-testimonial-light" src="https://embed-v2.testimonial.to/w/wall-of-love-for-testimonial?theme=light&card=base" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="100%"></iframe>
<script type="text/javascript">iFrameResize({log: false, checkOrigin: false}, "#testimonialto-wall-of-love-for-testimonial-light");</script>
```

1. The first script loads the resizer.

2. The iframe shows your Wall of Love. It has an ID.

3. The last script tells the resizer which iframe to resize, by that same ID.

If any part is missing, blocked, or does not match, the iframe keeps the browser's default height of about 150px and the wall looks cropped. Work through the checks below in order.

## Paste the complete embed code

Paste the whole snippet, both `<script>` tags included, not only the `<iframe>`.

1. Open the Space and click **Embed widgets**.

2. On the **Wall of Love** tab, click the clipboard icon on your embed's card (**Copy embed code**).

3. Replace the old code on your page with all of it, then publish the page again.

Some site builders remove `<script>` tags or accept only an iframe. If yours does, follow the guide for your platform: [WordPress](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-your-wall-of-love-in-wordpress), [Webflow](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-your-wall-of-love-in-webflow), [Squarespace](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-your-wall-of-love-in-squarespace), [Wix](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-your-wall-of-love-in-wix), [Framer](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-your-wall-of-love-in-framer), [React](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-your-wall-of-love-in-a-react), [Vue or Nuxt](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-your-wall-of-love-in-vue-or-nuxt).

## Make sure the IDs match

The ID appears twice: on the iframe (`id="..."`) and in the `iFrameResize` line (`"#..."`). If you changed one, change the other to match.

If the same Wall of Love is on the page twice, the two embeds share an ID and only one resizes. Give the second one its own ID: see [How to embed the same Wall of Love more than once on the same page](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-the-same-wall-of-love-more-than-once-on-the-same-page).

---

## Exclude the script from speed optimization

Plugins and services that delay, defer, or combine JavaScript can stop the resizer from running. Common ones are WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, NitroPack, and Cloudflare Rocket Loader.

Add both of these to the plugin's JavaScript exclusion list, so the script file and the line that starts it run normally:

-   `iframeResizer.min.js`

-   `iFrameResize`

If you enabled the star rating snippet on your embed, also exclude `seo-embed.js`.

For WP Rocket, see [How to embed your Wall of Love in WordPress](https://testimonial.to/guide/articles/how-to-embed-your-wall-of-love-in-wordpress).

---

## Check the section around the embed

Even when the iframe resizes, the section that holds it can cut it off.

- Remove any fixed height on that section, or set it to auto.

- Make sure the section does not hide overflow (`overflow: hidden`).

- Check your theme's CSS for a rule that sets a fixed height on all iframes.
