This week I completed the 1-Week Intensive | Generative AI: Wisdom & Warnings course, as part of the inaugural class from the Harvard Data Science Initiative!
This program was an invaluable deep dive, moving beyond basic understanding to focus on strategic AI adoption for business growth. Through a combination of live lectures from field-leading professors/business professionals, collaborative lab sessions, and 1-on-1 tutoring with the AI tutor Paski, I've developed a robust toolkit, including:
- A deeper understanding of AI strategy and governance.
- Developing a solid framework for AI adoption in business.
- Skills in creating formal AI strategy plan documents.
- Hands-on experience developing use case canvases for real-world business challenges.

I joined the course because I wanted to better understand how AI tools are changing the way we work and make decisions. The faculty were fantastic, very approachable, and the AI tutors made it easy to explore concepts hands-on. I came away with practical skills in using generative AI for analysis and communication, which I’ve already applied in my role. I would definitely recommend the course. It is relevant, well taught, and immediately useful in a professional setting.
