Wall of love for Healthy Little Heroes

We had two amazing visits from Healthy Little Heroes. Both sessions were presented beautifully, with both Rebecca and Gen sharing concepts through engaging and hands-on activities. The children and staff enjoyed the sessions, with children continuing to talk about the colours of their fruit and veggies, and what foods they have in their lunchbox. We look forward to having Healthy Little Heroes again next year.

Our children really enjoyed engaging in the learning. We had a number of comments from the families at our Centre about what their children had learnt and that they now wanted to try other fruits and vegetables. She has now become a yearly booking at our Centre!

Fit Kidz Dural South absolutely loved having Gen visit! She was so lovely, interactive and kept the children engaged throughout the "i can EAT a rainbow" show. It was such a fun and engaging way to help the children learn about healthy eating, they were talking about it long after the show! Highly recommend!

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Gen from Healthy Little Heroes to our preschool to deliver the “I Can Eat a Rainbow” program, and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The children were fully engaged from beginning to end. The session was interactive, informative, and full of practical knowledge delivered at just the right level for our early learners. Gen’s energy, warmth, and ability to connect with the children made the program both educational and fun. "I can EAT a Rainbow' came at the perfect time for our service. We are currently engaged in a critical reflection about mealtimes and this was the PERFECT addition to our exploration as a team, and with the children. Gen was fabulous, engaging, and full of so much great information for children. The children responded enthusiastically to the content and program - they especially loved the hands-on experiences and "having a go". I highly recommend this visit for any service wanting to support children's healthy lifestyle.

Bonny from Healthy Little Heroes visited our preschool with her “I can EAT a rainbow” session. ​The concepts the children were engaged with were age-appropriate and interactive. ​The children enjoyed the Mystery Box and recalling the benefits of each fruit and vegetable and how they help our bodies. ​The children were eager to share the information with their families in the afternoon. ​We will definitely have Healthy Little Heroes back.

Bonnie visited our preschool over two days, delivering 4 sessions. Bonnie was a very friendly and knowledgeable presenter. Her approach was child centred and appropriate as she wads able to captivate and hold the children's attention for the 45 minute session. The tools/ props used were engaging and relevant - these were fantastic for helping share the message of healthy lunchboxes for the children. Bonnie was very interactive and intentional with ensuring each child was offered a turn with the activities presented. Our preschool team would highly recommend Bonnie and the Healthy Little Heroes program/incursion to others. We will definitely be requesting they visit our service again next year.
