July Update: Iru MCP x Claude = Time-saver (Mini-project Launch) Bit of a backstory, few months ago, I was given the opportunity to lead the MDM migration from Pulseway to Kandji, now known as Iru, which became one of the coolest projects I've worked on during my Placement at Thrive. Lately, I've been using Iru's new MCP connector to speed up remediations, research, and my overall workflow within Thrive. Leveraging the MCP, I built a lightweight skill to easily visualize EDR and Library item failure scenarios. It started as a personal tool I built a while back, but I'm excited to finally share it with the Iru community! But what is it and how is it useful 👀? Iru Ops Desk is a skill that uses Claude Code / Cursor to build interactive triage reports for library item issues and EDR escalations (two things I deal with, hence the idea). It uses Iru's MCP (lnkd.in/erAk2jWh) to review the issue directly from your tenant, does a quick search against Iru's own docs for the scenario, then builds a triage report (check out the demo to better understand what this means). No custom scripts and guessing, powered by your Cursor or Claude agent. Super lightweight, but it's held up super well during my tests against real data. I own Iru at Thrive, so this is basically built around my own day-to-day work. Manual triage usually takes me 10-20 mins (with research and context building), with the skill, I was able to knock out a fix in 2-3 mins. There's still so much to improve, so open to ideas on that front as well. Note: Demos below use placeholder data. Repo: lnkd.in/e8nut7F5 Demo: lnkd.in/enBHZ3XY

For a long time, macOS onboarding at Moonpig has been a labour of love ... emphasis on the labour. My team was stuck in a cycle of manual provisioning: unboxing hardware, manually enrolling devices, pre-staging user accounts, and babysitting software installations one by one. It was a high-touch, low-value process that kept my team focused on repetitive manual tasks instead of high-impact engineering. We’re changing that. We are officially mid-migration to Iru for our macOS management. The shift isn't just about a new UI; it’s about moving to a #ZeroTouch model powered by Iru Blueprints Instead of a checklist of manual tasks, we now define the "desired state" via Blueprints. Whether it’s a creative in London or an engineer working remotely, Iru uses these Blueprints to dynamically deploy the exact configuration, security profiles, and applications the user needs the moment they first power on. No more manual staging. Just a seamless, out-of-the-box experience. It’s a massive win for my team’s bandwidth and an even bigger win for the employee experience. To the Mac Admins in my network: What’s the one manual task you’re most desperate to automate this year? #itleadership #workplacetechnology #macos #iru #zerotouch #mdm #endpointmanagement #digitaltransformation #itops

Endpoint security for Mac... I have feelings about this 🍏 I've used a lot of endpoint and AV solutions over the years across Mac fleets. Sophos... and yes, I've lived through the experience of deploying Microsoft Defender on Mac. The problem with most of these tools is the same every time. They were designed for Windows first, and Mac got an agent bolted on afterwards as an afterthought. And you feel it, the resource drain, weird conflicts with macOS updates, clunky UX, and a general sense that the platform you're trying to protect is fighting the tool that's supposed to be protecting it 🥊 I dealt with that for years, and honestly just accepted it as the cost of doing business on Mac. When Iru announced EDR years ago, I was one of the first adopters... and genuinely haven't looked back. A few things that stand out for me after running it across multiple organisations: 🔍 The detection and vulnerability modules give me full visibility at a glance. I can see exactly what's happening across the fleet without digging through endless logs or switching between three different dashboards to get the full picture. 🔔 Alerting is set up straight into our Slack channels and ticketing system through the API/MCP, so detections surface where my team is already working. Nothing gets missed, nothing needs manual checking, and the response workflow stays clean. ⚡ The agent is lightweight and built for macOS from the ground up, no CPU spikes, no battery drain, no weird behaviour after updates and my users stopped noticing the security tooling was even there. 📋 Audit readiness is the one that gets overlooked. The detection data is clear, well structured, and easy to pull. When you're sitting in front of an auditor trying to evidence your security posture, the difference between a tool that presents information cleanly and one where you're scrambling through logs is massive. This has saved me real time during ISO and SOC 2 reviews. 🛡️ Then behind all of it, Iru has a in-house security research team actively tracking emerging attack techniques and feeding that intelligence straight back into the detection models which lets me sleep at night. The whole experience, both as an admin and for the end users, is just better when the tool was actually designed for the platform from day one. If you're still running a Windows first endpoint solution on your Mac fleet and wondering why it feels painful, you already know why 👀

Half the year gone, so here's a quick check-in on what the GRC team's been up to at Thrive. We picked up ISO 9001 certification with zero non-conformities, and came through another ISO 27001 audit clean. We'll take it. We also partnered with Iru for device management, and it's already outdone what we hoped for. A smoother experience for our people from day one, much better visibility and insight across the estate, a lot more control over the fleet, and for the first time, 100% of devices on the latest OS and compliant with our policies. On top of that, it's keeping a constant eye on our devices for malware and unusual behaviour, stepping in to block anything suspicious before it becomes a problem. Vulnerability management has come a long way too. Wider scope, new tooling, and stronger coverage than we've ever had, with plenty more still to land before the year's out. Watch this space. There's plenty else in the pipeline as well. SOC 2 Type 2 later this year, plus a few other bits the team's cooking up. Thrive's flying, and we're making sure security keeps pace every step of the way.

Enterprise-grade device management without the complexity

Like many organisations scaling quickly, we needed a way to manage our devices without adding significant overhead. Rolling out an MDM solution can feel daunting, but Iru made the onboarding process genuinely straightforward. We were up and running quickly without needing dedicated IT resources to hold the whole thing together.

🚨 Massive Compliance Win for the Foojee Team! 🚨

We are incredibly proud to announce that one of our amazing healthcare clients just officially passed their HITRUST r2 Certification!

For those who know, HITRUST is the gold standard for healthcare data security, but getting there is no small feat. It requires rigorous evidence collection, tight security parameters, and flawless device management across the entire fleet.

As their MSP and Compliance Partner, we spent months behind the scenes ensuring every piece of infrastructure, from secure MDM configurations in Iru to robust Google Workspace policies, met the highest possible standards.

Seeing our client hit "100% compliant" and get that certification across the finish line is the best reward we could ask for.

A huge shoutout to the rockstars who helped build, verify, and document the security controls that made this happen.

Healthcare security doesn’t have to be a headache when you have the right team in your corner. On to the next one!

As a serial founding IT professional, I'm constantly on the lookout for tools that will deliver results without absorbing all of my bandwidth.

One tool I've been coming back to has been Iru to manage our device fleets. Compared to other MDM solutions, it's been a huge unblock to be able to get access to our tenant and get devices to compliance in a matter of hours, not weeks.

Iru has also been keeping pace with the modern era, whether it's the ability to link our IdP to the login experience without needing clunky desktop configuration tools or an extensive auto app catalog so I'm not spending time hunting down installer packages every time a patch is released.

I'm curious to hear what other tools are being used by lean, fast growing teams to keep up both with pace and ease of use. Sound off in the comments.

So... the new starter's laptop is ready. Zero touch has done everything for them and its ready to go.

Now what? 👀

Because the device is only the beginning. What comes next determines whether your IT setup actually scales or whether you spend the next twelve months answering the same questions and firefighting problems that didn't need to exist.

Here's what I always build out next 👇

📋 Documentation

The first thing a new starter sees when they log in matters. Is there a clear guide to the tech stack? Do they know what every tool is for and where to go if something isn't working? I build two layers. A company wide overview covering the tools everyone uses, and team specific guides built with each department. Sales, engineering, finance all have different workflows. Generic docs don't cut it. Coordinate with team leads before someone joins and it pays back immediately on day one, I house everything in Notion!

🔐 Endpoint Security

A device being set up correctly is not the same as a device being secure on an ongoing basis. Endpoint security means monitoring activity, files and processes in real time, alongside your MDM enforcing policies, locking down settings and ensuring encryption. The bit people underestimate is maintaining the desired state...you need a system that detects changes and remediates automatically. That ongoing enforcement is what keeps your posture solid as you grow. Iru mostly does it for me!

🔑 Single Sign On

One set of credentials, one place to log in, every app accessible from a single landing page. No password sprawl or no forgotten logins (unless you forget the SSO login!) The security case is just as strong. One identity provider means one place to enforce authentication, password and timeout policies across your entire stack. And when something goes wrong, access gets revoked across everything in a single action. Every minute an account stays active that shouldn't be is a window of risk. Okta is my friend here... but you can do it without (really)!

None of this is exhaustive, but these foundations make everything else easier. New starters self serve from day one, repetitive questions stop hitting your inbox, and IT gets time back for work that actually adds value.

Build the systems, and it'll run for you.

Zero touch deployment changed my life. Here's why 📦

Before I set it up for the first time, getting a new starter's laptop ready was a manual job. Installing apps, configuring settings, applying policies. Time consuming, repetitive, and entirely dependent on me being available.

Iru changed all of that. The enrollment, automated app deployment, blueprints and assignment maps are seamless. You set it up once, and it just runs for you and takes care of it.

Here are the three reasons I'll never go back 👇

🎯 Employee Experience

A person's first day sets the tone for everything that follows. If they open a box and their device is ready, configured, and feels intentional, that matters. It tells them the business is organised and that someone thought about their experience before they even arrived.

🔐 Compliance

Same security policies. Same app versions. Same baseline configuration across every device. No manual variations, no missed steps, no corners cut. That consistency feeds directly into your security posture and makes audits significantly less painful.

⚡ IT Efficiency

No more sitting with every new starter getting their device ready. No more building machines in advance and hoping nothing changes before they arrive. Zero touch gives that time back to the IT team to focus on work that actually needs them.

Wherever I go, Zero Touch is one of the first things I implement to free up my time for me to do more value adding work.

If you're still setting up devices manually, save yourself the pain and automate it!

Permanent local admin rights are an information security nightmare! ❌🔒 But taking them away completely usually leads to a different kind of nightmare: a flooded IT Service Desk 🛠️📉 If an engineer needs to run a quick Docker command, or a designer needs to update a specialised plugin, they shouldn't have to submit a ticket and wait for an administrator to type in a password. ⏳ At the same time, leaving users with permanent admin privileges leaves the door wide open for unapproved software, malware, and compliance failures. 🛑 We are solving this balance by moving away from local administrator standing privileges entirely. By leveraging Iru and Blueprints to deploy SAP Privileges, we are moving our macOS fleet to a tiered, "Just-In-Time" admin model. Here is how we are phasing it: 👤 Standard by Default: Everyone logs in as a standard user. No exceptions. ⚡ Phase 1 (Live Now): We are only deploying instant, self-service elevation to pre-approved teams (like engineering) who genuinely need frequent access. One click, and they get temporary admin rights. ⏱️ Self-Healing Demotion: The configuration ensures the user is automatically demoted back to a standard user after a set time limit. The Next Milestone: To keep Service Desk load to an absolute minimum, we want to introduce a governed approval gate for non-technical teams - routing rare elevation requests through an automated workflow instead of a manual IT ticket. To be honest, we’re still figuring out the best way to handle the technical plumbing for that approval layer seamlessly. Mac Admins & IT Leaders: Have you successfully built a governed approval gate for temporary admin rights? How are you handling it? 👇 #ITManagement #macOS #Iru #InformationSecurity #ZeroTrust #EndpointSecurity #ITOps #AppleAtWork

The shift isn't just about a new UI; it’s about moving to a #ZeroTouch model powered by Iru Blueprints.

Instead of a checklist of manual tasks, we now define the "desired state" via Blueprints.

I love how Iru is so easy to set up and manage. I got tired of having to be the only person that understood our management solution, but now with Iru, any junior admin could pick it up in just an hour of training. The self-service feature is a standout for me, allowing me to deploy anything from applications to bookmarks to custom scripts to fix a variety of problems or make changes. It really gives me everything I could hope for. Also, the fact that it helps keep my devices and software up to date is incredibly helpful. The platform is so intuitive that I was able to build out everything I needed quickly, and it’s a truly great product that I’ve recommended to friends and colleagues. For ease of use, I think it's best in class at this moment in time.

Really appreciate this perspective, Adam. In most organizations I’ve worked with, vulnerability management isn’t a visibility problem anymore. Teams can scan, classify, and report at scale thanks to the tools available today. The real gap tends to be in turning that visibility into consistent, predictable action without an army of engineers or endless meetings. The way you’re approaching vulnerability response — letting organizations define remediation cadence based on severity, and then automating to that preference — speaks directly to that gap. If teams can shift from constantly wrestling with manual coordination to letting policy drive action, that is a meaningful step toward operational maturity. From a security engineering point of view, the true value lies not just in the automation itself, but in reducing cognitive load and decision friction for teams that are already stretched thin. Lean security organizations don’t need another alert. They need predictable outcomes. Curious to see how customers balance urgency with stability over time as their environments and risk postures evolve.

I use Iru as an admin to manage Apple devices. It solves problems by allowing me to isolate, wipe, and push policies to misbehaving computers remotely. The platform's simplicity makes it easy to understand and manage everything.

I find Iru easy to understand and use, which reduces admin friction and workloads. The help-desk staff is outstanding, always providing excellent support. I really like being able to create pre-built and custom library items for various device blueprints, which makes device management incredibly fast and easy. The ability to create conditional mapping of library items using metadata tags enables another level of custom control, which is very valuable. The initial setup was incredibly easy, as it took just a few minutes to get started with a basic blueprint with EDR.

I really appreciate Iru for its ease of use and the overall robust features it offers. The setup was super easy, thanks to Apple Zero Touch, which made the initial process seamless. I also find features like app blocking and app minimums particularly useful as they allow me to secure the most up-to-date versions of apps like Firefox. Iru effectively helps with device management, and I haven't encountered any issues with it.

Iru has completely transformed how we manage IT for a fully remote team. I’m the only IT resource supporting ~50 employees, and before Iru, everything was manual: screen-sharing into individual machines to troubleshoot issues, fix user mistakes, run updates, and make sure devices stayed compliant with our standards. It was time-consuming and not scalable. Provisioning was especially painful. If a machine failed, building a replacement from scratch to meet our specifications and security requirements could take an entire day. That simply wasn’t sustainable as we grew. With Iru, especially combined with Apple Business Manager, we can now deploy, remediate, and manage devices in a fraction of the time. Devices can be configured quickly and consistently, policies are enforced automatically, and I no longer have to constantly “check in” on every machine. As we scaled from 15 to 50 employees in about a year, Iru was a true lifesaver. It allowed us to grow without needing to expand IT headcount, while also improving consistency, security, and overall efficiency.

I love how Iru simplifies installing multiple applications and makes tracking and locating iPads so efficient. The time-saving aspect of installing updates and new programs is incredible—it only takes 10-15 minutes instead of days or weeks. Plus, I don’t have to manage separate Apple accounts on each device, which is a huge relief. Everything has been working great for us, and the initial setup took just minutes. I really wish I had started using Iru years ago.

I like Iru for managing my Mac devices with ease. It allows me to do zero touch deployments, automate updates, and keep the devices secure for SOC2 compliance. I use EDR and vulnerability management too. Iru is so easy to use and I like it so much better than Jamf because it works right out of the box, which is great for me as a department of one. Setting up Iru took less than a day and the interface is so easy and seamless. The Drata integration connects to Iru and helps automate software update policies and offboarding by automatically locking devices when an employee leaves. Iru makes my process for SOC2 compliance seamless.

I love that Iru made our first experience with MDM easy, seamless, and generally pleasant. The UX of their platform stands out to me because, as a small team, we can't spend a lot of time researching how things work with different vendors. With Iru, we don't have this issue, we're just able to do what we want. The initial setup was extremely easy. I also appreciate that we can use Iru with Google Workspace integration and Tailscale.

My overall experience with Iru has been very positive. I use it frequently and enjoy working with it. The interface is clear and easy to understand, which keeps the learning curve low. Value for money is solid given the quality of the product and the responsive customer support. The ease of use is one of its strongest points, and device and client management features work reliably. The main area for improvement remains the activity/audit log and its filtering capabilities.

One of the most intuitive MDM solutions—up and running in days

We recently rolled out Iru, as our Mobile Device Management solution for Apple devices. During our evaluation process, we reviewed several platforms including Microsoft Intune, Iru, and Jamf. After careful consideration, Iru stood out as the solution that delivered the full range of functionality we required, while remaining within an affordable price range. From both a senior and junior engineer perspective, the platform is intuitive and straightforward to configure and manage. The setup experience was smooth, and the interface makes day to day administration simple without sacrificing depth or control. One of the key strengths for us was the ability to assign permissions based on our RBAC roles, allowing appropriate access across the team while maintaining governance and security. From an administrator standpoint, the visibility and control are excellent. From an end user perspective, the experience is seamless and minimally disruptive. We were able to complete the full onboarding process for all devices and users within a month, covering configuration, testing, and full rollout. Overall, Iru has proven to be a reliable, scalable, and cost effective MDM solution. I would highly recommend this platform to any company looking to manage their Apple device fleet efficiently and confidently.

Iru has been a solid solution for managing Apple devices in our organization. The platform is intuitive, easy to deploy, and the automation features make device configuration and maintenance much more efficient. The interface is clear and policies can be applied quickly, which saves a lot of time for IT teams. Documentation and resources are also helpful when setting up new configurations. Iru helps us centralize the management of our Apple devices and automate many tasks that would otherwise require manual configuration. This reduces the time spent on device setup, software deployment, and policy enforcement. As a result, our IT team can manage devices more efficiently and ensure that all machines stay compliant with our security and configuration standards.

I use Iru for endpoint management and threat detection. It lets us manage many devices on one platform, provides endpoint security, and helps manage software across our laptops with ease. I really like the blueprint function and the ability to do conditional logic based on different attributes of different devices. That's been really helpful for us so far. I also really like the ability to add new software to the library catalog, which we can then add to the app store that's available on people's laptops so that they can easily install stuff without having to go out onto the Internet and do it themselves.

One-stop solution for device management

I really like that Iru is a one-stop shop for managing all of our devices. It's very user friendly, and I didn't need any specialized training. I was able to follow their documentation to create a well-built system for our business. The ease of use, alongside cost and customer service, was a big factor for switching from Hexnode. The initial setup was very easy. I also appreciate how Iru helps us manage app control on iPads and Macs with its blueprint system, scan for vulnerabilities, implement patch management, and integrate Google Workspace for a secure login system. Windows is still a new feature in their tool belt and is continuously being upgraded. I'm looking forward to additional features that they are adding for that platform.

To my fellow IT providers, I've gotta say Iru has blown open our bandwidth to serve even more small businesses than we had planned. There aren't enough words to explain how valuable Auto Apps have been over the past 4 years. (Where we've had a minimum of 25% revenue growth every year.) Our engineering team never has to think about patch management because it's 100% managed by Iru. In addition to Auto-Apps, their Vulnerability Management with automatic remediation allows us to easily match our compliance requirements to our patch management policies. So much more I could go on about their useful feature releases every month. Without Iru, our journey into cybersecurity and Compliance wouldn't be possible. Huge props to the Iru team for consistently pushing high-quality features over the past 4 years, and for Sarah Veilleux helping us navigate our account with all the growth, and exciting product releases during that time! 🙌

Very positive, we'd recommend Iru to anyone whether they are standing up an MDM for the first time or migrating from another. We came from a popular Mac-focused four-letter MDM and have really enjoyed the Iru platform. Customer support is night-and-day easier, the product is more than capable for our enterprise compliance needs, and you don't feel like the product is getting worse+costing more due to private equity ownership.

I would recommend this product to any company using MacOS. We moved from using Intune from MacOS devices to Iru with a focus on security and have not looked back. When things have not worked or we have required support the support team and really responsive and resolve issues fast. Overall this is a product i would not be without.

Simple to use, deeply capable, and the best value for dollar I get period as an IT Manager

Exceptionally positive. From first onboarding, their support and engineering team have been reachable, knowledgeable, and so so kind and helpful. Their product team is innovative, and are adding the features that I as am administrator want to see. And when they do roll out totally new functionality like they have done somewhat recently with EDR, with vulnerability management, and with cross-platform device management - it is EASY to show my executive team why moving to Iru for those needs is the right choice. The first thing that drew my organization is was an MDM provider that is focused first and foremost on supporting our Apple-based ecosystem of devices - and Iru from day one has excelled at that. But as time has gone on and we have remained extremely happy customers, the platform has expanded to meet not just our Apple device management needs, but now cover our EDR needs, our vulnerability reporting, management for the few windows and android devices in our fleet - all while remaining easy to use, easy to navigate to where we need to go quickly, and constantly adding new quality of life features. They are committed to growth, not just into new sectors or categories - but to growing the product to make my job as an administrator using their tools easier and more effective.

They are committed to growth, not just into new sectors or categories - but to growing the product to make my job as an administrator using their tools easier and more effective.

Iru makes it easy to manage our macOS devices without a lot of overhead. Enrollment is smooth, policies are straightforward to configure, and the interface is easy to work with day to day. It does what we need without getting in the way. We chose Iru because it was easy to use, quick to deploy, and felt like the best fit for managing our macOS devices.

As a SOC 2, certified company, it helps us manage device profiles, EDR, and required apps across the organization, making the audit process much easier.

A great solution that saves me a heap of time and having to remember maintenance updates and software roll outs with our 40-50 machines. The time its saved me through its automation and end point defence monitoring well and truly outweighs the subscription. Have renewed several years in a row as a result. Very flexible blueprints for our Mac network - allows me to customise a range of use cases from a large pre-built library, plus add my own custom items. Had great support from Iru with some of the trickier deployment aspects.

Iru has saved us a ton of time maintaining our fleet while ensuring we are secure in today's world. Support is always quick to respond and very helpful. Our end users were really happy with how easy it was to migrate over, and they love the Kandji self support portal.

Pretty solid solution with some room to grow

I have used Iru in two companies, previously well certified in Jamf. There is still a learning curve when going form one to the other. I like that Iru does almost everything you'd want when it comes to managing macs. It's got about 90% of the way there on various aspects of mac management. Windows being added is a great move and I look forward to seeing that functionality grow.

I've been using Iru for about three years now. From the first time I used it until today, I've been delighted with the product. It's intuitive to use, the features are relevant, and the support/sales teams are always available and very helpful (even in different time zone).

Overall, I enjoyed my experience with Iru. As someone who came from Jamf, Iru has simplified a lot of tasks which required me to spend time investigating and solving myself (including raising the issue with support team and rarely getting a solution out of it). Compared to Jamf it isn't as customisable, however Iru does its job well (including the available support team), and do recommend for any Mac admins only starting out in the MDM space.

I am most impressed by the intuitive UI, specifically the drag-and-drop capability within Blueprints. It makes assigning Library Items incredibly efficient and reduces configuration time. Additionally, the customer and sales support teams have been consistently swift and knowledgeable.

Overall Iru is a pretty straightforward tool to use and it has helped ups maintain an up to date, compliant fleet of devices. It has helped me fully automate onboarding of new team members and keep my fleet up to date. This also helps us with compliance out of the box.

Phenomenal

Its been incredible. The entire project to migrate off of Jamf and onto Iru took us one week from start to finish. We started late because our Jamf contract was up for renewal and we had just discovered Iru. The project went off without a hitch and we have never looked back.

Easy deployment. Things just work so you can deal with other issues.

The service is very easy to use. Within a week, I had a basic overview of the instance, and within two weeks, I had something ready to deploy for migration.

Easy to use, helped with device management across the business, was able to easily build out Blueprints to manage application and settings sets across different user groups.

Comprehensive and intuitive device management

Initially we purchased the solution to manage and patch MacOS devices, but after the great experience and support, we expanded this to IOS devices too. We are excited to see how the Windows / Android side of Iru develops over the coming months. We managed to fully configure the system for MacOS management with EntraID authentication in under an hour. Iru allows us to manage our MacOS and IOS devices with ease, it has all the features we need offers great value compared to its competitors. The support team is extremely effective and quick to respond via live chat.

Excellent product

Overall our experience with Iru has been great. It just works. Any time we have ran into an issue the support team is a quick chat away from getting expert help to address our issue promptly. Patch management has been extremely easy just a few clicks to get the latest OS and software patches pushed to end users. Iru is an excellent product that comes in at fractions of the cost of other competitors. The features we use all work seamlessly.

Great hands off MDM

The new workflows are a great improvement over the old blueprints. The prism gives us all the answers we are looking for, be it to hunt down some shadow IT tooling or be it for compliance reasons during an audit. The support team and success managers are really great to work with. The product makes device management straightforward, it's feature-rich without being overwhelming, and it handles updates and patch management effortlessly. They are constantly adding new features, also from feature requests, which demonstrates great value for money.

Iru for the win

100% positive and a must have MDM for Macs over Jamf or any other competitors on the market. Product is high quality, effective, and a great product team that listens and caters to customers' feedback which is what makes Iru an absolute stable in my IT stack.

Rock-solid macOS management that just works

We have been using Iru for macOS management for the past few years, and the biggest thing for us is reliability. It just works. New hires receive a Mac that is ready on day one with the right apps and security settings already in place. Updates and policy changes happen in the background without creating disruption. For a team that is mostly Mac based, that consistency has made a real difference. Before Iru, managing Macs felt reactive. Manual setups, chasing updates, and double checking configurations were taking more time than we wanted. Now provisioning is automated, security policies are enforced consistently, and we are not constantly putting out small fires. For a lean IT team in a regulated biotech company, that time savings and improved control over our macOS environment has been extremely valuable.

Blueprint Routing is the feature I didn't know I needed until I started thinking about how much manual work goes into enrollment at scale. Automatically routing devices to the right Blueprint based on device and user attributes at enrollment is exactly the kind of thing that reduces friction for IT and closes configuration gaps that create security risk. As someone managing a macOS fleet this one hits close to home. Good stuff 🤙.

Appreciate you sharing the intent behind this. Speaking as a customer, we are a Mac-heavy environment and have genuinely benefited from how mature and operator-focused the Apple experience has been in Iru. We are also very welcoming the expansion into Windows and Android. We are a smaller Windows shop today, but it is growing, and having a single MDM and security console that manages Mac, Windows, and Android with the same depth and clarity matters a lot to us. The Mac side set a high bar, and it is encouraging to see that philosophy extend outward rather than get diluted. From an IT and security perspective, consistency and feature depth matter. Treating Windows and Android as first-class platforms, not secondary ones, is where real operational value shows up. One forward-looking note. As those platforms mature, do not forget about Linux. Even incremental support there matters, and your competitors will not ignore it. Transparency like this is appreciated. Looking forward to what comes next.

We're especially excited to be using Iru as our platform for our new Compliance offering. Years ago, we built our endpoint management business on their platform, because Iru Endpoint is the most reliable and simple MDM we've ever used. Now that Iru offers a compliance product, our team is thrilled that we can rely on the same A-team and the same reliable culture of creating thoughtful, almost magical features year in and year out. Here's to the future of our partnership. 🥂
