We do weekly sprints @loopcrypto_xyz where I test all our features. Without @jamdotdev it would take me twice as long. If I find a bug, I can click "instant replay" to create a video link of the last minute of my screen. I never have to recreate a bug again. 🤌🤌🤌

One of my colleagues at job share with us a tool called @jamdotdev for bug reporting. I started using it, and I fell in love with it jajaja

O plugin JAM tem me auxiliado na documentação de evidencias de teste e na abertura de tasks de bugs/rework no board do Jira. A ferramenta possui versão gratuita (que já entrega muito), telas intuitivas e com ótima usabilidade. Também oferece opção de integração com outros apps (Jira, Slack, GitHub...) que permite o compartilhamento extremamente rápido da evidência de teste. É possível gerar prints, gravar vídeos e incluir comentários/descrições do material gerado. O mais interessante é que todo o histórico de Console e Network da página ficam salvas, sendo possível rever e analisar com mais calma qual é e onde está o problema. I recently got this particular response from a potential client (London based founder) about my feedback style. Though I could not convert it, I have realized how far I have come as freelancer/consultant/contractor. I have been working as a Frontend Consultant for almost 9 months now and it has been entirely remote. I did not intend to stay as a contractor for this long. This started out as a part-time income and as a way to stay relevant to the industry while I was pursuing a full-time masters in computer science. But this is almost my primary income now. I take on at most two clients. Anything more will impact the work-life balance. My learning has been exponential with minimal effort. But how do you I manage the context switching? By writing great emails/docs/messages (Keep it super simple! No jargons, ask anything you do not know) and using Images (Excalidraw is my primary tool) wherever possible! As for the bugs? I use Jam.dev and write failing tests for these bugs. Also, I minimize my meetings as much as possible. If they or I cannot explain something over text, only then I would prefer a meeting. Otherwise most of my meetings is to teach the team about React or Git or JavaScript or TypeScript. How do I manage my schedule and tasks? I use Todoist and Rise Calendar (lnkd.in/gb3wm_hD) for them. I always put down everything in my mind so that I do not have to remember stuff. BTW, my current commitments would end in December and I am actively looking at full-time and contract roles (I would have two years of post study work visa for UK based roles). #freelance #contractor #consultant #frontends
