For years, I've yearned to elevate my career by delving into the realm of sound design. However, having a goal is meaningless without a concrete system in place. APCA provides just that! Since embarking on the course and completing several assignments, I've immediately noticed a marked difference in the quality of my work. The diverse range of assignments and their variety keeps you on your toes without feeling overwhelming. There's an abundance of material to practice different aspects of audio work, and the collection continues to grow steadily.
The close support from Joe is invaluable. He is consistently there for you, providing critical and valuable feedback. Without his gentle prodding and demanding requests, I wouldn't know how to deliver more than what is initially requested or needed of me. Most crucially, conversing with him is effortlessly easy! Despite my initial reservations, he made me feel welcomed, and it never felt like a chore to reach out to him and receive feedback from him. This aspect is especially important because, without close correspondence, this course is only 10% effective. What sets this program apart is the back-and-forth nature that resembles a mentorship.
In conclusion, I am thoroughly satisfied with what this course has provided me. Investing in APCA was a prudent decision, and I am genuinely delighted to have met Joe. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone aspiring to build a rock-solid foundation, acquire technical skills that seamlessly transfer to professional work, and create an impressive showreel that truly matters.
