We invited Kat to deliver a wellbeing session for our staff to provide practical strategies for managing the daily demands of school life while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The session was inspiring, enjoyable, and highly personable. Staff came away feeling empowered to prioritise themselves, recognising that even small, manageable steps can make a real difference. As a result, our leadership team has embraced Kat’s approach, modelling daily 10-minute wellbeing sessions and encouraging accountability in a positive, supportive way. Overall, Kat’s session has strengthened our culture of wellbeing, boosted morale, and reminded everyone that looking after yourself is both important and achievable. Thanks Kat!

Thank you Kat for leading such an incredibly engaging session. The day gave our colleagues a valuable opportunity to reflect on themselves and consider small, meaningful changes that can make a positive difference. Thank you!

We wanted a day that served as a reset for our leaders, taking their focus away from the business and to themselves and the session with Kat really done this. The feedback from the session has been really positive and I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing from the team around the change that this has driven!

Having listened to Kat deliver a half hour workshop, I adopted a new habit of not pressing 'snooze' on my alarm clock. It led me to doing more exercise and achieving a positive mindset before going to work. On deeper reflection, I realised that it actually resulted in me being able to give myself permission to respect myself. I hadn't realised just how much negative talk went on inside my head whilst I was snoozing, causing me to dislike myself by 6.30am! Having engaged Kat in a longer workshop for my collegues, I have started a new habit, running for 15 minutes a day. What a positive impact this has had on my daily outlook! It has been amazing to hear colleagues discussing their new habit adopted and the effects such a small change is having. We all have ten minutes we can find in the day! Thank you Kat!

Thrive Event: Positive Habits As Chairman of the Thrive Community at QIAGEN, I wanted to bring our team a speaker who could offer more than motivation—someone who could spark real, lasting change. Kat Thorne’s session on Positive Habits was exactly what we needed. We were looking to equip our community with practical tools to build habits that support well-being, focus, and resilience. Kat’s approach was both insightful and relatable—blending science, storytelling, and tangible takeaways. Her message struck a powerful chord. Since the event, many team members have shared how they’ve started implementing small but impactful shifts in their routines—whether that’s more intentional morning rituals, boundary setting, or reframing how they approach challenges. There’s a renewed sense of ownership over our own energy and mindset. The benefit to our organization is clear: a more grounded, engaged, and empowered team. Kat helped us see that thriving isn't about doing more—it's about doing what matters, consistently. And that starts with habits.

I heard Kat speak at a retreat a few years ago and was struck by her passion, honesty and wisdom. She speaks in a way that is super accessible but also deep and reinvigorated my perspective on what is important to commit to and what is possible in life. She is genuine in her care for helping people live a better life and that shines through . She also has plenty of practical tools to help people do it - I highly recommend and look forward to hearing her speak again one day .

I managed to create an achievable habit with exercise and now I have that locked in, I can focus on another small challenge!

Kat's session was a refreshing and impactful experience, offering reflection and giving time to think about the simple, manageable changes we can make to our days to make a meaningful difference - both personally and professionally. It has prompted a collective spirit within teams, encouraging one another and creating a shared sense of care and accountability. We hope these are simple steps towards building a strong and resilient workforce.

I've benefitted from giving myself permission to do 10 minutes movement every morning and not feel guilty it isn't long enough. The dog is getting an extra walk, I'm enjoying being outdoors and there is enough time in my morning to accommodate this small addition. I can highly recommend Kat's inspirational approach.

When CEOs invite all their employees for a day together to 'sharpen the saw', its important that everyone takes away something they value. The session was good for Planteria but really talked to every participant at a personal level: Kat engaged us in conversation about wellbeing and how small habit change can reap significant rewards. Whilst entertaining, Kat unpacked some key issues and choices around our wellbeing. A thought provoking session.

We wanted to offer the opportunity for staff to have time to think about what small changes can be made to enhance their wellbeing whilst working in emotionally and physically demanding roles. Kat's session was inspiring and thought provoking. It allowed us to reflect on what our less healthy habits are and how we can find 10 minutes in our day to make a positive change. Less than 24 hours later, there is a buzz about the place with people talking about what they did with their 10 minutes of time. Thank you, Kat for encouraging us all to take some time back for ourselves.

As a fast-growing startup, building a sustainable team culture that can scale without burning out is crucial. Kat's workshop has given us practical tools to make this possible. If you want your team to truly thrive rather than just survive, I couldn't recommend Kat more highly.

Kat was brilliant, a great insight into how small changes make a big impact. Order myself an alarm clock to stop overusing my phone. Sleeping better without the distractions.
