We had an absolute wonderful time having Kena as our DJ for our wedding. On more than one occasion we had guests come up to us asking us to give Kena a glowing review. The music flowed perfectly and we were dancing at every point of the wedding. We would absolutely love to have Kena back for any future event that we have!

Name: Helen Yip and Joseph Heras How did we work together: Our wedding :) Please share your feedback: There's so many details to worry about when planning a wedding, and what any couple wants more than anything is to have a memorable night celebrating with their friends and family. We were so thrilled to have Kena as our DJ from day one. One of our goals when hiring vendors for our wedding was to hire folks who represented the diversity of our community. In the DJ world, women are highly underrepresented, and even more so when they are racialized and part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. So when we met Kena, got a feel for how she connected with her clients and learned just how lovely and approachable she was...we were sold! She is so incredibly talented and it's always a good sign when your guests don't want to leave the dance floor. It's been a few months since our wedding and we keep getting comments from our guests about how fun the dance was, and we know that wouldn't have been possible without the Kena's incredible artistry. She was attentive to the style of music we wanted, and gave us the confidence that she would be able to carry out our vision. She also made sure the sound for our reception, for our MC's, was perfect. Thank you Kena for being who you are, and making sure we had a memorable night!

Kena did our wedding this summer, from ceremony music and sound (ie. mic for the officiant), announcements through dinner and DJing the dance party. Our experience was seamless from start to finish. Kena was so great to work with - she setup a few meetings to discuss what we wanted (and help us figure out what we wanted haha!), brought in all the gear required and was great with rolling with the punches throughout the day and night! The dance floor was moving and grooving until the very end. We can't thank her enough for her role in making our day so great!

Kena was our amazing DJ and you would be insane not to book her. From our first virtual meet to the main event (our wedding), Kena was very understanding of our needs and open to communication. She seamlessly blended professionalism with fun, and Kena definitely helped us stay on track. We had only booked Kena for our reception, but she pumped me up before the ceremony (just outside the hall) with some music. I found that really supportive and kind (Thank you, Kena). Kena made the night extra amazing. Her set up was perfect for the hall and number of people, and I could not stop dancing (even when my shoes threatened to kill my feet, hah).
