I felt compelled to write to you, as Ladies Get Paid has had a huge impact on my life/career. I've been a long-time follower of LGP, but only really put things into practice after taking your salary negotiation course in late 2020. At that time, I was juggling the responsibilities of 3 jobs, including those far above my title, as a result of surviving a round of layoffs. I was eventually “promoted,” but not properly compensated. I used your course to create an infographic, (I’m a graphic designer) to lay out why I deserved a raise. It didn’t yield the results I wanted, but the exercise empowered me to ask for “fuck you money” when I applied for my next(/current) job - I almost doubled my salary. Fast forward to the present: I decided to ask for a larger raise this year, after waffling on whether I “deserved” to. I had my annual review earlier this week and learned I got a higher raise than I asked for, in addition to the biggest bonus I’ve ever received in my career to date. This is all to say a huge thank you for all your work to provide women like me the resources to go get paid. I know you post from time-to-time about your own struggles with doubts and imposter syndrome. I'm here to shout that you are doing it. Your framework has truly been a life-changing mindset for me - I don’t know where I’d be without LGP!

Our community was excited to participate in the workshop and left with new learnings, tools and energy to advocate for themselves and their value. I got a $10K raise to my base (now at $170!!) and they are investing $3500 into a year long mentorship program for me to grow as a leader in 2024 and agreed to send me to at least 2 conferences next year to get additional industry experience. I genuinely thought Id get ZERO raise, so THANK YOU - LADIES GETTING PAID
