Wall of love for LinkedIn
Deputy CEO (Outreach & Operations) @ e2i
How do we stay on top of our game?
We all need to be more intentional and strategic than we are comfortable with if we are to become 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 each new day and to improve the chances of a more favorable outcome
For some of us, part of the game plan includes 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 on #LinkedIn, to see and be seen online by industry peers and prospective employers in a favorable light, and ultimately to translate that into offline relationships, influence and impact
And for a season I badly wanted to do that. I posted extensively, took master classes (both free and paid), read up on the subject and toyed around with hashtags. And even so it was a frustrating journey to figure things out through trial and error, and never quite achieving what I had set out to
But I was simply doing what made sense to me without understanding the way LinkedIn (the platform and corresponding algorithms) worked, how content is presented and consumed by users on the platform, and the corresponding triggers and motivations behind user behaviors on LinkedIn
Once I had a better appreciation of the (often unspoken and sometime changing) rules of the game I had an easier time playing the game of LinkedIn and interacting with other gamers on LinkedIn
And I would like to thank Adrian Tan for helping me make better sense of LinkedIn, including the use of the social selling index, the LinkedIn algorithm, and for his tips on content templates and the use of hashtags
For those who would like some help building up their professional brand on LinkedIn I highly recommend taking a look at Adrian's online course

Highly recommended course - for both beginners and seasoned LinkedIn warriors. I consider myself quite a veteran on LinkedIn but I still signed up for the course anyway - because I always believe we can always learn something from everyone no matter what station you're at in life.
And here's the thing - I picked up some really good tips from this course. Every video is short, sharp, and succinct, making it a breeze to learn. And here's the best part - there's no airy-fairy fluff in this course.
Every tip and lesson are completely actionable.
If you're sincerely looking to improve your LinkedIn profile and raise your visibility, look no further. This is the course you need.
