A big thank you for your help yesterday. Planning my schedule myself has been very difficult as I can’t see the wood from the trees. I found your help really valuable in a number of ways: Your guidance on how to utilise my afternoons so I can fit in more meetings was particularly insightful a. Rather than wasted 15 - 30 minute buffers between meetings, I now have meetings back to back but with a break in the middle to give me time to breath b. Knowing my early mornings are set aside for meeting follow up actions takes a lot of stress of me in the afternoon and evening - I will hopefully feel under less pressure to work in the evenings Accepting that replying to emails ARE my “big rocks” is a game changer. All the “experts” talk about how to stop wasting time on email, but in my case, email is the main part of my job, as partners use it to coordinate promotions with me. On some days I get as many as 50 partner emails, and it can take on average 5 mins for me to deal with each email.
