Good evening DML, I just wanted to share the news that I got an offer for a Security Consultant position (Contract). First of all , thank you for your input in this process and I know I can leverage the wisdom and knowledge of this platform to perform well on the job.

My name is Adeola. I am based in Edmonton with over 10 years of experience in marketing and sales. I began my career in industrial chemistry before transitioning into the sales industry. I joined the October 2024 Cohort Program. I first heard about martial tech through a friend. At the time, I was skeptical due to a disappointing experience with a previous Business Analysis Program that failed to deliver on its promises. After spending over eight months navigating unemployment and grappling with the challenge of transitioning into cybersecurity, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in the CSMP 12-week mentorship program—a decision that proved to be nothing short of transformative. With a background in service desk support, I had foundational IT experience but lacked the specialized insight required to thrive in the cybersecurity space. I joined the Cybersecurity Management Professional (CSMP) program with Martial Technology in November 2024, and by Christmas, I had secured my first role in cybersecurity as a Risk and Audit Specialist. The CSMP coaching isn't another training for cybersecurity. I’m a project management professional seeking to transition into cybersecurity space.
