Mason House (or "Macie" as I know her, was a student in my INDUSTRY class focused on empowering musicians with the skills necessary to excel and promote themselves through social media. During her time in the program, Mason distinguished herself not only as one of the most devoted and disciplined students I have ever taught but also as an individual whose very presence uplifted and inspired those around her. Mason’s commitment to mastering her craft was evident in every task she undertook. Her exceptional discipline and emotional maturity allowed her to grasp and apply complex concepts with apparent ease. These qualities not only contributed to her personal growth but also made her a role model for her peers. In fact, her influence was so profound that other students frequently cited her as their reason for enrolling in the program, drawn by her ability to vividly and tightly grasp her craft. Beyond her technical skills, Mason’s voice and stage presence are truly remarkable. Her vocal talent is undeniably one of her many gifts; however, it is her theatrical magic and ability to command a room that truly set her apart. Mason possesses a rare ability to elevate the spirits of those around her, infusing confidence and enthusiasm into any setting she enters. Her presence is pure positivity and inspiration. Mason’s impact transcends the conventional boundaries of musicianship and performance. She embodies the essence of a true artist—one whose work does not merely occupy space but profoundly changes it. Mason House was instrumental in coaching my 2 daughters to prepare for musical theater auditions. She helped them to build their confidence in performance skills. Mason’s greatest strength is communication and her ability to verbally express positive changes to bring out the qualities of a character.
