Matt's always shown he is about truly helping others. Have been connected for a while, and what he shares has always been helpful. And going through most productive week ever has helped me gain clarity on some goals I have around creating content. And with the GAP/WRAP and time-blocking guidance it is starting to click!

I just completed the Most Productive Week Ever (MPWE) 5 lesson course. This was exactly what I needed to begin applying a lot of the productivity & organisational ideas to my work week, in bite-size chunks. Really looking forward to doing the longer course.

I have been benefiting for several years through the free content that Matt has been sharing on YouTube videos and in various weekly emails. As I watched and read about his 2022 Annual Review, I came to a realization that I both wanted and needed to be intentional in planning and reviewing the tasks and projects ahead in 2023. Following my trying participate in a “Plan Your Year” webinar and Matt personally responding to me about the technical issues I was having, I knew it was time for me to sign-up for one of his courses. This was the best way to show my appreciation for his personal attention, his awesome free content, and was a chance for me to have a deeper dive through participating in a course. The MPWE course was ideal for me to learn with others in five focused one-hour lesson sessions the specifics of the G.A.P. preview and W.R.A.P. review, a system for note taking, tracking and blocking my time, and thinking through goals as being outcome or system based – all these 'nuts and bolts' were just what I was looking for to help me kick-off my next year. What I especially enjoyed about Matt’s instructional approach was how he shared his own struggles and challenges as he has embraced these processes in his own life, and that our season of life and the hours we already have committed each week to our families, friends, work, volunteering - all need to be taken into account. That as each of us starts these systems we need to give ourselves time to incorporate them, adopt them, and as we review these efforts that we do so as “reporters” as we compare what we planned to accomplish in a given week and what we actually did. No doubt, in the past I have judged my efforts with an eye to criticism rather than using the ‘facts’ to guide me in making pivots to experience greater success in my life. I am excited about putting everything I learned in the course to use, and appreciate that I have access to the recorded videos of our sessions and the instruction slides so I can go back and review as I adopt them into my own productively kit. Thanks, Matt!

I started working with Matt because I found his YouTube videos to be very helpful with easy to implement systems. I joined the third Productivity Power-Up course that he offered because my work life was feeling unmanageable, and I needed help implementing a framework to guide what felt like a rushing torrent of random tasks into a more focused channel. I work at an educational non-profit so I don't consider myself a creator in the sense of trying to become my own business owner or creator on a social media platform, but Matt's support has helped me to set clear goals with specific check-in points throughout the days, weeks, months, and year that help me feel like I am not treading water with my work. Tools, such as GAP, WRAP, QMWD, have helped me to shape the direction of my work instead of reactively responding to all of the tasks that come my way. I appreciate that Matt takes time to answer specific and practical questions, especially when leading a live course. He uses concrete examples from his own life and process that make the frameworks easier to understand (e.g. seeing his published 2022 review was a helpful guide as I went through the review process for myself). And he is always willing to improve the way that he explains the concepts. The WRAP initially had a different "A" if I remember correctly, and Matt explained why he made the change to "Alignment" from the old work. It is a living process that he is improving by actually using it himself. I wanted to achieve creating a framework that would help me to not just respond reactively to work throughout the year but to guide my work in the direction that I believe is most beneficial for myself and my employer. Matt helped me to go from feeling stuck, like I was spinning my wheels, with no idea about what to do or prioritize next to feeling empowered and confident enough to take the next step towards my goals.

I've been following Matt's youtube channel for a long time. I really like the way he structures his explanations and that he combines digital and analog tools. The daily meetings to talk with other people, follow up and clarify doubts, have been a key point to be able to incorporate knowledge and be more productive. I can't wait to take another course!

Matt's course showed up at the perfect time. It was the beginning of the year. I was staring at my planner and I had no idea how I was going to achieve all the things I wanted to achieve last year but didn't. I loved that his methods could be managed in the bullet journal or implemented in tools like Notion and learned that the tools are secondary to the objective. In other words, the tools don't do the work, I do. I gained clarity about how to protect the time I need/want to work towards my goals. I'm launching a blog this year - something I've always wanted to do - and Matt helped me realize how much of my time is already spoken for, how I could make the best use of the time I have available and how to break my goals down into actionable work so I can feel good about what I achieve and stop beating myself up for not doing 'all the things'.

A 20-minute call with Matt has saved me weeks of time. He was able to identify my issues and offer precise recommendations on how to get what I wanted.
