Mixpanel is my favorite tool to understand how my product works. I especially like creating funnels - as it allows me to view dropoffs and do quick RCAs and take immediate action. Also, I can make the funnels (and look at other events) as soon as my features go live. Which means I can iterate really quickly.

The depth of features that allow me to create what I need. When you are doing a piece of analysis you want to be able to do exactly the analysis you wish to. Not to be limited by the software. I rarely if ever feel limited by Mixpanel.

Best Analytics Software Available

There are a lot of things that I find amazing with Mixpanel. Here are some of the things that I love. 1. The UI is incredible. I honestly haven't seen a better-looking analytics tool on the market. 2. Running real-time intelligent analysis is so easy. I have created plenty of SQL queries before. With MP, you can create the same queries in a fraction of the time. 3. Custom Properties and Events - This allows you to overcome pretty much any data collection obstacle 4. Cohorting is super easy to do. It is easy to run these cohort users into various types of analysis.

Mixpanel UI is the best when it comes to using events and application activity tracking. The report making and cohort building processes are very simple. If used well, and the events/properties are implemented well, users can get into the depths of their products to understand potential bottlenecks and issues. Moreover, the sharing and access capabilites are pretty seamless as one can manage the levels of accesses at user level and team level.

Incredibly Useful and Fun to Use!

Simple visualisations and very friendly understandable interface, really easy to generate useful and beautiful graphs and visualisatons. Not only that but I can find information that aids our companies development, and fun stats, quirks and info about the userbase that is really intresting. Extracting the data with the Raw export API in conjunction with SQLite has been incredibly powerful for me as a data scientist. This application is highly underrated. The dashboard can be shared with a wider group at one's company and thus presenting and sharing analytics between different departments is effortless.

Once the events are flowing in, it's simple to whip up a battery of reports or a concise dashboard for a given question, which is huge for a startup team without a dedicated analytics engineer. The data lexicon makes for clean post-processing and data maintenance as things change over time. There's a built-in backside funnel for sending the events to a data warehouse, so we own our event data (not MixPanel). We used a completely custom implementation and spent not one minute of our time figuring out how to get MixPanel to work with it. It just worked.

For creators out there....Mixpanel is what you need!

I have a little website that gets around 20k visits/month. Its still by all means a side project and after going blind on analytics for 6 months I decided to go all in. I tried Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap & Full story. I went with Mixpanel at the end because of the combination of pricing + ease of use and set up. Things like merge profiles....(where the create one identity automatically) for people logging in with different IPs and stuff would have taken me an impossible amount of hour to try to even hack around my dashboards to get something similar showing.

Mixpanel is an Incredibly Flexible and Easy-to-Learn Product Analytics Tool

Mixpanel is very easy to approach for non-data analytics people. As long as engineers correctly install the events, creating a report is very easy for everyone else. The customization of events is also incredible. I love that you can go deep into understanding your product at the event property level versus simply the event level. It's a great tool, and I would highly recommend it.

The tool has a minimal learning curve. It is also quite user-friendly and easy on the eye. Any non-technical person can pick it up and create their reports. The reporting and widget creation is pretty easy. The tool offers free version which offers most features and works best if you are an early stage organization.

It is potent and easy to use. It has a great user experience. Once you start getting events, it is straightforward to create funnels, cohorts, dashboards, etc. It is super helpful to troubleshoot user issues. With Mixpanel, I can easily find what is happening and help my user get what they need, or even understanding what should be improved to deliver a better experience.

Best tool for in the market to really understand your customers behaviour!

Ability to learn a lot about your customers in a quick 30 minutes before starting your day. As long the events have been implemented properly, there is a lot you can learn from our customers without having the need to schedule interviews. MP has often enabled me during discussions on validatin hypotheses to find he answers within minutes. MP enables me to get these answers without the need to connect with our research team, of or stakeholders. I can often within 30 minutes build out a proper framework of Problems to solve and hypothesis that are confirmed with data. Big appreciation of the support of MP, they are availble to support you where needed.
Ability to learn a lot about your customers in a quick 30 minutes before starting your day. As long the events have been implemented properly, there is a lot you can learn from our customers without having the need to schedule interviews. MP has often enabled me during discussions on validatin hypotheses to find he answers within minutes. MP enables me to get these answers without the need to connect with our research team, of or stakeholders. I can often within 30 minutes build out a proper framework of Problems to solve and hypothesis that are confirmed with data. Big appreciation of the support of MP, they are availble to support you where needed.

It's impressive the way to measure the data, the reports, funnels, and insights. Now I have a clear vision of my entire funnel and the path of each user. I was tracking everything with Google Analytics but to be honest for SaaS products is not easy at all to measure events and customer journeys as easy as using Mixpanel.

It is very powerful and easy to use. You start sending events in minutes and after that is really easy to create funnels, cohorts, dashboards and so on. I love the Lexicon and the ability to merge events: this might seems a tiny feature, but when you start tracking events, it's pretty common to change event names from time to time, and with event merging you can say "Event A and Event B now are called event B" and this avoided as loosing a lot of data. Another thing I really like is the ability to see which users completed or dropped a funnel step, although it could be easier (you must create a cochort and then go to see the users in that cohort).

Mixpanel gave me all the knowledge to understand how to get the most out of their product. I quickly understood how to report events and add additional information to them in form of properties. It was simple to communicate this to my engineering team, too. But the thing that Mixpanel gave me, besides a super-powerful easy to us tool, is that they empowered me with education and helped me be a better product manager. I'm able to make better product decisions proactively to create a better user experience instead to react to data I see. I swear by their Focus Metric framework which helped me understand the state of my products and also to easily communicate that to my stakeholders. I tweeted at @mixpanel to ask for the ability to visualize @fundrise's A/B tests as a horse race. They didn't do that, but they DID change all of my (and ONLY my) loading animations to 🐎. Incredible. Also, their load times are so fast I almost didn't notice the change. ♥️

Have been a @mixpanel user and fan for many years. Always loved how easy it was to get started, but also hit the limits of the dashboard regularly and went with exports or JQL.
