I would prefer Moreland University, because it provides lots of opportunity to learn from teachers across globe. Its a excellent platform to get updated with the latest technologies used in teaching. The online seminar were very useful to know how to make learning fun and teaching more ethical and innovative.

I recently completed the Teacher Preparation Certification course at Moreland University, which offers a comprehensive curriculum that encouraged me to reflect on and refine my teaching strategies. With over 25 years in education, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about new and effective teaching strategies like entry routines, brain breaks, and the significance of SEL. The integration of the InTASC standards was particularly valuable, allowing me to refresh my teaching methodologies.
One highlight of my experience was the opportunity to interact with various instructors and partake in Clinical Practice. The structure and flexibility of our CP instructor was instrumental in enhancing our learning experience. The program's weekly VCs were another standout feature, facilitating interactions and cross-pollination of ideas and teaching practices with peers from around the world.
While I have high praise for the program, there are a couple of areas where I believe there's room for improvement. Firstly, the evaluation process involves collaborative submissions where group members receive a collective grade. It's challenging when group dynamics vary, and not everyone contributes equally. I suggest that collaboration is encouraged during VCs but individual submissions and grading could help ensure everyone's efforts are adequately recognized.
Furthermore, the process of registering for the Praxis exams through ETS was less than optimal. I believe it would be beneficial for MU to offer a more integrated registration system to streamline this experience and add this as a value added service for its learner-clients.
In summary, while I highly recommend the Moreland University's Teacher Preparation Program for its robust content and networking opportunities, there are specific areas that, if addressed, could elevate the program further. My overall rating would be a solid 4 out of 5.
