Charlotte, your passion for your work really shines through, and it has been so much fun nerding out on all the things during our calls!
I am obsessed with what we built together. I feel like everything in my course is being amplified with the Visual Mental Models (VMM) we built.
VMMs are such an incredible way to integrate knowledge and use as a teaching tool.
Having a framework makes any topic much more approachable.
It gives learners a major head start because they don't have to put in a ton of effort trying to organize the information they're consuming.
The VMM makes that process 29384092843 times easier.
I was making mini mental models for each topic that I present on, but it never showed the bigger picture or how the pieces fit together.
I've finally been able to organize all of the content that I teach into a meaningful framework that makes it clear how everything fits together.
I've shared it with my community, and they are very impressed!
The Snapshot is almost just an ancillary benefit… However, it is also SO POWERFUL!
When Courtney and I went through the Snapshot together, we were both in tears.
It's such an incredible way for SLPs to feel seen/heard AND to celebrate progress.
I can't wait to see more of the data and use that to drive future initiatives for the SLP community!
