Two days ago(06/16/25), I called The NeJame Law Firm, on behalf of a friend, to see if they could represent her and her family, on the loss her 18 year old mentally ill child, to the Osceola sheriff's, this past Saturday, in. St. Cloud. During my initial contact with the Firm, the person that answered to call was very courteous and listened attentively. after I was done telling my story, she asked my information and promissed to forward it to one of the Attorneys, for further screening, and said someone would reach out to me, to let me know if they could represent my friend. As promised, later on that day, someone reached out to my friend via WhatsApp. Unfortunately he said, that due to the nature of the case, they would not be able to represent her, and that hit us like a tone of bricks, and made an already devastating situation, worse to us. Yesterday, not satisfied with his return, I called the back the firm, just to make sure, that was really nothing they can do, and also to express my disappointment, when I was transferred to Ms DeLayne, and that was very nice, and it changed my feelings. Ms DeLayne was very kind, and took the time to explain to me, some parts of the law, that most people don't know and makes almost impossible for them to represent broken heart families, in cases like my friend's, when the police use unnecessary lethal force, specially on a mentally ill people. Although, I was still disappointed, I was very grateful for Ms DeLayne's gesture, and I will continue to have them as my number 1 Law Firm. Today, 06/18/25, I received a call from Mr NeJame himself!
