Wall of love for The Power of Niche course
Pretty sure I know one of those advisors 🤔
Working with you changed the game for me. Defining a. Niche, staying on message and being consistent helped me 2x my business over the last 10 months.

Working with you changed the game for me. Defining a. Niche, staying on message and being consistent helped me 2x my business over the last 10 months.
Yesterday, I fired my branding coach, Natalie Hales.
I’ve been working with her for almost a year.
She pushed me to get clear on who I actually serve and to focus on where I do my best work.
Executives and professionals in their 50s and 60s preparing for retirement.
They often have scattered accounts and just want to make sense of how to turn them into a consistent paycheque in retirement.
Natalie brought so much clarity to my business.
I stopped working with clients outside my niche. Instead, I introduced them to team members who were better suited to help them.
Saying no for the first time was uncomfortable.
She helped me build a marketing and branding strategy that kept me on message and made me better at serving the people I serve best.
The transformation in my business has been unbelievable.
Over the last 10 months, 89 people reached out on LinkedIn asking for retirement planning help.
This still surprises me because I don’t do any active outreach aside from sending connection requests.
I simply show up on LinkedIn, share what I know about retirement planning for Atlantic Canadians, try to add value, and follow the plan we built together.
Of those 89 people who reached out, I met with 36.
And 25 became clients over the last 10 months.
I hit every goal we set 10 months ago.
Every single one.
My business has had more growth in the last 10 months than it’s had in the last 10 years.
So naturally, I fired Natalie.
The system she helped me design is working so well that I don’t want to change anything.
Right now, there’s nothing to fix.
Nothing to add.
Just room to let it breathe and keep doing what’s clearly working.
Natalie’s the real deal.
She taught me more this year than I ever expected.
I’ll definitely work with her again when it’s time for the next project.
When that time comes, she’ll be my first call.
For now, I’m going to take some time to reflect and figure out what that next project will be.
Something that continues to add value to Atlantic Canadians who need clarity with their retirement planning.
Maybe a YouTube channel, a podcast, a blog or live seminars.
We’ll see.
Thank you so much, Natalie. 🙏

📌 If you're a financial advisor and worried about niching, talk to Natalie Hales. You'll get clear on why it can work, and why it will help you stand out.

Delving into the course confirmed that the niche that I've chosen is the one for me, especially since it came to me organically.
I've learned and identified that I can find commonality with those in my niche, use language they use, and be able to relate to them on their terms.
By being a specialist in your niche, and applying your focus on it, it's natural that you're the person to solve the problems that they're having. If you continually show up, and focus on their hot buttons, you'll be the one they reach out to.
One of the real benefits is the clear cut exercises that you work on and the ideas on how to explore your niche so that you can clearly define who you want to work with, how to work with them, and how your methods can get the results they're looking for.
I've done personal work with Natalie, and took this course on top of our work together to be able to really dig deep, understand and sharpen my efforts for my niche market. If you are struggling with a niche, or what to pick and how to approach them, this is definitely the course for you.

This is so good👏 The way you break this down is critical for all financial advisors. It’s so overlooked, but it’s vital to all of our success🔥👏

Thank you for all of your hard work helping me explore and define this niche Natalie Hales. I'm an expert in wealth management and philanthropic planning... not marketing after all!

Overcoming the idea of turning away clients seems like the biggest hurdle.
Once I did that, it really became easier to get the right clients.

You get right what most people get wrong.
The most important niche to occupy is in your customer's mind. If you come to mind at the time they need you the most, you've built a powerful niche.
Thanks for adding to my thinking today!

I love the way you think and write about niches. Thanks for sharing!
