One Pitch has helped me reach more reporters faster. I love the tool that allows me to add my media lists so I can send an email to my media list all at once. It has been great for our team to see metrics and know how many people are opening our emails. My favorite part of One Pitch is the tool to add your pitch and create a media list because it saves me time. Thank you, One Pitch!

I recently attended my first OnePitch event in Atlanta (Coffee w/Publicists) I truly enjoyed the community and learning about the platform and the way it can be used to pitch clients and find media outlets. It was great meeting Kendall and Katrina as well. I’m looking forward to more events and working with OnePitch to expand client reach.

OnePitch has come a long way from when it initially launched a few years ago. First, I have to say I love the people who work at OnePitch! It feels less of a predatory sales environment and more of a collaborative community. Jered, the CEO, has been a great influencer to follow for various tips and I cannot praise Kendall Aldridge enough for all her work and inspiring ideas! The OnePitch team consistently puts out quality content useful to our evolving industry; I love the blogs, Slack connections, and pitch resources like the webinars/“Pitch Paloozas” that have taken off in recent years. (I recently told the team how I missed “Pitches That Landed” and was SO excited to see one published last week!) To start, I highly recommend this environment over other platforms. Regarding the platform, there are features I like and others that could use improvements (like any platform). I enjoy the scoring capability that comes with searching for relevant journalists, as well as the ability to see what relevant articles resulted from the specific search used in the score. My recommendation would be to change the section name from “recent articles” to “relevant articles” and then add a section for actual recent coverage linking 1-3 stories that were the very last articles written and published by THAT journalist, regardless of relevancy to the original search query. That way, you can see whether their *last* article published is remotely related or applicable to the original search term and/or the relevant articles pulled up by the search. E.g., if I search “NVIDIA Gen AI” topics/journalists, and the top journalist has a few relevant articles from two months ago, but the *last* story that journalist wrote was about an upcoming event with AWS, I could deduce that journalist might not want NVIDIA pitches at that time, then plan and pitch accordingly. The pitching tool seems to churn more relevant results than other “AI assistants” featured in other tools/platforms, which is great to see! Sometimes, I like to use the pitching tool as a backup to refine the content if the results indicate I wasn’t specific enough in my original pitch. The target search filters are very helpful; I love the ability to search by articles and not just journalists. One potential recommendation would be to make searching outlets sans journalists easier. Maybe I missed it, but is there a way to search outlets in a specific industry? E.g., I would love to search for industrial and manufacturing publications (which are slightly different than logistics or supply chain outlets, but some overlap) and not just journalists who *write about* those industries, but are published in outlets that might not reach the intended audiences. This ability would help us track relevant publications with niche audiences when journalists constantly change job positions and employers. 😊 Overall, I appreciate this platform, the resources available, and the team behind the work! While there are improvements and growth opportunities ahead, I highly recommend OnePitch as a tool for PR and comms professionals, especially while it’s much more affordable than other rivals. 😉

Since launching my own publicity business, I have found it extremely helpful to navigate the One Pitch platform to find the targeted reporters that will cover my news! The One Pitch platform is easy to use, and I am able to build my own tailored media lists for my clients and save them (unlike the expensive competitors) that charge thousands of dollars a month for a media monitoring and pitching platform.

The Coffee with Publicists: OnePitch Chicago Event was such an awesome introduction to the OnePitch platform and team. It was a convenient location and provided a lovely atmosphere to meet and network with other publicists. The team provided practical, actionable advice that we could implement immediately, and the interactive training session allowed for real-time feedback and learning. It was great to attend the networking meetup to expand my professional network and find potential collaborators. Looking forward to a future event!

I recently relocated to Miami from New York and didn't know that many publicists in the area. I attended OnePitch's Coffee with Publicists event and made several connections that I am looking forward to continuing to foster! I got to catch up with a couple of fellow PR pros I know, met several awesome new people from other agencies here in town, learned about the Getty Images team and focus here in Nashville, and got some cool swag ;-) What's been most intriguing to me is their stellar marketing and systems. I am testing out the OnePitch platform for the very first time and am very impressed with the ease of use. The media contacts database is impressive, as it is usually a challenge to find that "right" reporter/journalist that wants to bite at your pitch! The customized OnePitch platform has saved me time on my research and I can't wait to see the additional features over the next month.

This is beneficial because it provides information about the journalists, allowing me to tailor my outreach and approach as a problem solver to help them meet deadlines with the right source instead of just sending a generic pitch. What a game-changer this is.

It's more likely during team meeting, as I've had the opportunity to engage with colleagues and share both personal and work-related topics during these sessions.

OnePitch has been a fantastic tool for me as an experienced PR pro and agency owner for over a decade. The community and content themselves are top notch. Recently, I learned about a new-to-me NPR podcast that was perfect for a client on the OnePitch podcast. I was able to send the podcast link right over to my team and thanks to the great info on just how to pitch the host, they were able to secure the client a spot in hours. I've truly appreciated their attention to building a community of value and their efforts to create a PR tool that allows smaller agencies like mine to get the info we need to move our clients' earned media coverage forward.

OnePitch is one of those platforms where they provide valuable insights on how to effectively pitch specific writers/reporters, but overall, is one that stands out from the rest by providing resources that help publicists like myself, a freelance publicist, the ability to pitch journo's that align with my client's current work.

Transparency, up to date contact info for specific journalists, versus having to search through wads of virtual links, other platforms cross checking with hopes of finding accurate information. Not to mentioning more effective ways to pitch journalists ie: what works versus what one hopes may work. OnePitch has certainly become a lifesaver for me even if I'm new to the platform.
