Wall of love for Pain Academy
I want to work. I want to make some money. I want to do things. Yeah, I mean, I haven't been able. I've been so limited for so long, so I'm really excited and really hopeful that I can be able to do more. Yeah, that's it. Love you guys.
I'm just excited to move again. I'm just excited to be able to feel free in my body, and be able to kind of do the movements I've always wanted to do, and just get back to working out and exercising and, you know, not wearing down if I have to sit down for a long period of time, or, you know, not having to wear, like my SI joint belt, and not having to do all these things, I feel like limit me and just make me feel trapped in my own body, like I just won't feel free again
before the program, I was very random with my exercising. I didn't do the same things. Just kind of did whatever I thought was I needed. I don't know, just very random and in consecutive, not consecutive. And now I show up every day, I tell myself, it's only between 20 and 45 minutes, and I'm working on something that is both achievable and gradual, and I just feel really good about it.
Living with a leg length discrepancy of nearly an inch has created a chain reaction throughout my body, possibly stemming from an old soccer injury that limited my left ankle's mobility. My muscles have compensated in ways that keep my body locked in this imbalanced state, preventing me from truly relaxing. I joined this program to restore balance to my body—seeking healthy posture, proper skeletal alignment, and a calm nervous system.
I like how easy all the exercises are, and I like that we you're talking in the background. So that allows us to pass the time a little bit easier for some of the longer exercises, where we have to hold it for three minutes, four minutes, six minutes, and sometimes that can if you're just dwelling on any kind of, you know, hard part of the exercise, you just want to give up. But if somebody's talking to you, and you think about what they're saying, even if it's over and over again, it's helpful, plus, knowing the why of things is always helpful when learning a new exercise or or understanding why an exercise is being prescribed
Great hope with some of the results and i'm completing all the parts of the program.
After struggling with low back issues for decades despite trying stretching, yoga, and chiropractic care, I discovered this program's holistic approach which feels like the obvious solution I should have found 25 years ago. The comprehensive methodology makes complete sense and addresses issues in ways my yoga certification never prepared me for. I'm excited to continue working through the program and deeply appreciate what you're bringing to people like me who have been searching for real solutions
thank you for how you present all of this information. I do totally agree with the whole whole this a holistic approach. You know, if one part isn't working, all of it isn't working. I think the majority of my problem at the moment starts from my right shoulder. So that's what I'm looking to solve, and hopefully that will help all the rest of me. I'm excited.
Breaking Your Limits was an eye-opening book that transformed my understanding of exercise intensity, posture, and my relationship with my body and pain. The insights about micro changes and breakthroughs were knowledge I wish I had learned earlier in my education or professional certifications, making this truly life-changing literature that I plan to revisit again.
I think that my favorite part about this program so far has been that it's given me some hope, because, hope that maybe I'll be able to move without pain, and hope that maybe I'll run again one day. just stick with the program and give it a try.
As an open-minded person with no inhibitions about trying new approaches, I'm ready to move beyond the traditional pain-focused treatment model I've experienced in the past. I'm looking forward to exploring this whole-body approach that examines overall connections rather than isolated areas of discomfort
Patience and persistance really pays off
After struggling with chronic pain for over 10 years and trying everything from massage therapy to random online exercises without lasting relief, the movement program finally provided the structured guidance and accountability I desperately needed. Though I'm still experiencing pain after my first year—which is understandable given my herniated disc, sciatic issues, and hip and shoulder imbalances—this program has taught me to identify my specific problems while giving me scientific, sustainable methods instead of just masking symptoms with medication. I now see light at the end of the tunnel and accept that complete healing may take two or three years of consistent work, but I'm finally on the right path.
I am so incredibly grateful to have been working with Vinny for the past few months. As a dancer for 20+ yrs, my body had changed since tearing my adductor years ago and I've had different hip related injuries since then. Most recently I had spent months in physio treating 1 hip impingement but in the process, suffered another hip impingement (now on the other side). Walking, sitting, lying, dancing and twisting hurt. The restrictions made me fearful to dance and move freely, as I always seemed to be injuring myself. I wasn't really sure what to do. Thanks to yoga I met Vinny and was introduced to this method of healing through postural alignment. YASS FINALLLLLLLY!! At this point I'm so psyched something like this exists! Not just a bandaid for an injury, but an investigation into the WHY and HOW these injuries keep occurring, while overcoming pain in such a short amount of time ...is simply amazing. The cherry on the cake is actually learning what exercises help and why, so you can better HELP YOSELF down the road when your body is out of line. I wouldn't have had this experience without Vinny. His yoga background, anatomical expertise and warmth as a teacher made me trust him instantly. Right away I felt genuine care from him and a passion for healing others. He was very easy to work with over facetime and has taught me so much that once had been counter intuitive to what I had thought would help. I went from not being able to sit cross legged due to sharp hip pain to dancing freely again. My back has doubled in flexibility (surprising bonus!) and I have more stability and flexibility coming back in my hips. I walk differently. I stand up straight and my core is more engaged. All in a few months work :-) Braxton has been such a joy to work with and has checked in with me every few days to to hear about my progress. I love this tailor made approach and honestly I've never worked with someone who cares this much. I can't express how much I appreciate it and hope anyone reading this decides to invest in their well-being with this method lead by Vinny. Get to the root of your pain and kiss it good bye. It's so worth it!

After completing this program, I was so impressed with how it addressed all my body's imbalances—from my hips to my feet and shoulders—that I decided to go through it again. The structured schedule and comprehensive approach helped restore balance to my body following neck surgery, giving me the confidence to sign up for a half marathon with my daughter after a decade-long hiatus from running.
I feel like I recovered a little bit quicker, and I feel like the exercises kind of helped me recover a little bit quicker. So I was happy with that.
I'm moving better and feeling better
After a 2014 disc herniation and a 2020 car accident that caused further spinal damage and SI joint dysfunction, I've been in constant pain despite trying multiple treatments including physical therapy, chiropractic care, and epidural injections. At only 24 years old, I'm excited about Vinny's whole-body approach to finally find relief from the debilitating pain that impacts my physically demanding job and quality of life.
