I love colorizing my black and white photos with Palette. It is an awesome app that makes it so easy and fun. I just upload my photo, choose a color filter, or type in some colors that I want. Palette uses smart AI to colorize my photo in a snap. It looks so realistic and natural, like it was taken in color. I can save my photo in HD quality, or share it with my friends on Facebook or Instagram. Palette is free to use, with no sign-up needed. I also subscribed to get more benefits, like HD downloads, credits that roll over every month, and no ads. Palette is the best app for anyone who enjoys photography and color. I have been using it for several months and I am very happy with it. It has given new life to my old photos and made them more colorful and lively. If you want to try it out, go to [Palette.fm]. You will love it!

I found some pics from 1938 of my house (in black and white) and thought I'd try to colorize them. This couldn't have been any easier and a great price too!

At first I thought your post was scam but I dug deeper. Tried your online service, man, I gotta tell you - you hit the nail on the head! It was a b&w photo of my folks from 1958 during their wedding. My mother had very fair skin, my father had an olive complexion because he was part Sicilian and the picture turned out exactly right!!! Thank you, you gave that photo a new life and feeling, they have both been gone for quite some time and I really miss them.

I just want to say thank you so much for your work . I was able to show my 88 year old grandma a colorized photo of her and my grandpa from when they first started dating over 65 years ago . I can't explain the emotions going through her face but I know she was almost there again . Young and in love .

I needed a coloured photo for a calander and it was to complicated to manage this by myself. Palette is easy to use and not expensive at all. I will recommend Palette to every one. Give it a go!

I discovered Palette, by accident, last month and it's exactly what i need. Now i can custom color my b/w reference photos and use those to create art. Thank you, Emil and the team behind Palette!.

I was actually testing Photoshop's new colorizing filter this week, so this is timely. My first impression of Palette in comparison is that it does a comparably good job of colorizing. Sometimes Photoshop does better, sometimes Palette -- usually the skin tones is the hardest part, and one does a noticeably better job than the other. The natural language modifications available in Palette ("his shirt is light blue") are super useful. Well done.

I have an old aerial photograph from 1939 of my great grandparent's farm that's now a subdivision, and I was going to colorize it by hand but decided to see if some AI tools could do it, not sure if they could since most are geared towards pictures of people. But to my surpise this one did a pretty amazing job and I think most who look at it would think it was just an 84 year old color aerial photograph. I was very impressed it could get so much just from me using a paragraph of text describing it.

This is a great tool. I am working on my family history and have some photos of my ancestors that I wanted to have in colour. I searched and tried several other tools but Palette was the best. It let me choose between different filters and I was also able to give the AI analyzer information on the subject on the photo. Simple, fast, good results and free. For a small fee I could also get the image in HD. Just what I needed.

This app is most probably the best thing I ever used the internet for. Creating a slideshow video for my father’s 60th birthday. Worth every penny. If something is not exactly like my favor, I can simply instruct the AI and it simply fulfills my request. I am completely mindblown. Sitting in front of the computer and smiling like I found candy in my pocket. Thank you for elevating my dad’s surprise to another level! Great job!

Thank you so much for creating this. My daughter was a fullterm stillbirth who died on Mother's Day 2021 from a true knot in her umbilical cord. We were so fortunate to have a photographer from Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep send us over 100 professional photos she took while at the hospital, but those are in black and white. Your program not only gave us colored photos of her, but they gave her life we have only imagined for the past 16 years. This is such a gift you've created. Thank you.

Palette has given my family such joy recolouring a photo of family members no longer with us. The recolouring is very accurate and works incredibly well. The recolouring is very subtle and believable l, rather than being oversaturated. The options to stylise the photos are also fantastic which I will use going forward. Highly recommended.

Well pleased with Palette. Great colors and easy to use. I colorize publicity photos from the 1950's TV programs for personal use and Palette usually gets the costume colors correct without having to make further adjustments on PS.

I work for free restoring images on Reddit. I chose Palette as my go to AI Colorizer for one simple reason, it renders color better than other AI's. The choices of palette are diverse and many (although more would not go amiss). I normally use the image presented as a base for colorizing once a restore is complete and if it is necessary. However, colorizing using this Ai and any other AI is dependant on the quality of image submitted. A bad out of focus image will get you null point. A decent restored image with defined subjects will render better. Bare in mind this AI is not an image enhancer.

I have been converting bw classphotos to color and found palette.fm to do an excellent job. In PhotoShop or Pixlr set AutoLevel which increases contrast and erase, clone any issues with photo. There are other tools for restoring old photos that you may need to use before colorizing. The Palette.FM Base Palette caused skin to be discolored. Selecting Royal Vibes gave better colors, but changing the Edit Prompt to "royal colors, skin tones" I was able to get more natural skin tone. I then used CodeFormer to upscale 4x and do face restoration.

Having just discovered MidJourney earlier this week, I was already in awe of the power and practical use AI can bring to the art and design scene. This is almost on the same level. I am a designer by trade so I’d like to think I have a fairly good eye for colour composition and I am absolutely blown away by how good this tool is. You’ve created something special here. Keep doing amazing things

I first became aware of Pallett through the PiXimperfect YouTube channel's review of the software. I have tried many other image colorization software and this in my opinion is the very best. Is it perfect, no, but what is? Some photos colorize better than others, but overall I love it. The pricing is also reasonable. I only use the software to colorize old family photos for my family so I will not be converting hundreds of photos. I have Photoshop CS2 which is many years behind the current version, but I cannot afford to subscribe to a current version and for the most part CS2 does what I need it to. I also have Photoshop Express 2021 and use it often. The attached photos are a before and after image of my wife's photo in her wedding dress. It was taken in 1979 and the B&W image is the only one we have had until now.

As a returning hobby illustrator, retired from the military, I have been captivated by the advancements in color and AI art. I've discovered that my many old, color-starved sketch compositions come to life with Palette! Next, I can take the color image and apply them to my Leonardo AI application to help the AI envision exactly what my stated Prompt tokens are looking for. What a fantastic journey this has become! Thank you for Palette. I'm now studying illustration again and the responsiveness of the Palette Dev team to questions is outstanding. It's a splendid, simple, and well-organized frontend for any artist's workflow. Do acquire this little gem soon. You won't regret it.

This is INCREDIBLE. Just fed your site a B&W photo of my Dad at his old wholesale fruit and veg business in London. Dad passed in November, suddenly seeing the photo burst into colour took my breath away. Pretty damn accurate too!! There’s a sign I think was more green that came out red but that’s nit picking. Thank you for bringing to life this memory of Dad 💚

Pretty good, maybe not as good as the human colorization but it's getting pretty close, and only needs a few second vs hours for the human. Really like the prompt editing, helps a lot to get colors right. Hadn't seen a colorization website that did this and it's probably the best by far. Wish this could be done with upscaling as well, describing the objects in the picture so it's better at identifying in what way to upscale them.

This is the best AI colorizer I have seen, by a long shot. I took a color photo, turned it to B&W, then ran it through your colorizer and the colors it chose are remarkably accurate.

Having tried a few in the past, I can’t tell you how pleased I was with the colors provided on the base palette. Put up two black and white pictures of my mom’s Quinceañera and the details and colors are gorgeous. Great, fantastic job on this! My one suggestion: make the progress bar on the colorization options a little lighter/darker (unsure which) while it’s processing the photo, since it was a bit hard to tell the progress on the coloring process with the pictures I used. Other than that, this is an awesome tool!

We have trail cams around our northern Wisconsin property and often get pics that need color! Palette does an excellent job of turning a black and white picture because it’s dusk or dawn into a realistic daytime image.

I scanned black & white family photos from the 40's for my father today. We used Palette to colorize pictures for fun. It is truly amazing and the photos took a totally different dimension suddenly. I don't know how they do it but it sure works really well! Recommended!

My originelly black and white pictures from Eastern Europe , made between 1992 and 2000, look old and new at the same time. For me they turned into a new dimnesion.

I stumbled upon palette while doing my research on colors. I find that Palette is a pretty novel and interesting way to colorize images!

This works amazingly well, just putting in some of my favorite black and white scenes from movies... wow! Now I need some kind of tool that can do this on every frame of a black and white movie. I cannot wait to be able to watch some old classics fully colorized.

I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with this service! First of all, the ease of use of Palette's user interface is truly remarkable. From the moment you start using the tool, it's clear that the designers have made every effort to make the process as simple and intuitive as possible. The various settings are easy to find, and the tool's layout is clean and uncluttered. Even if you are not particularly tech-savvy, you can use Palette with ease. Furthermore, Palette's AI technology is truly cutting-edge. The tool is able to analyze the details in your black and white picture and provide stunning and accurate colorizations. You can adjust the color saturation, brightness, and other settings with ease, by editing the prompt/image description, which allows you to achieve the exact look and feel that you want. Overall, I would highly recommend Palette to anyone who is looking for an easy-to-use and powerful tool to colorize their black and white pictures. The service is excellent, the technology is top-notch, and the results are simply amazing. Give it a try, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Amazing. I've spent hours (of fun) hand coloring photos in Photoshop. I'm glad I have already got my kicks doing that because otherwise I would be bummed to find such an incredible colorization tool!

I had a problem downloading a HD image. Emil fixed it, refunded my money and gave me credit for the inconvenience. Thank you very much for your good service Emil. Much appreciated. I'm very happy with the product.

This is absolutely incredible. I wish I understood code enough to comprehend what you got going on here. I tried it using my grandmother’s photo, and my mom was blown away. Thank you so much for making her day.

I do photo colorization work both for hobby and commisions and the integration with a description prompt and ambient filters is really novel and helpfull, it still requires considerable editing for very cramped escenes/hisotrical references but the object identification is way way better that other apps out there.

I've tried other color enhancing programs but Palette got me what I liked most. Good coloring options for any picture.

I did some testing with color images > black and white > colorized. Its good but could definitely benefit from hints by the user. Lets say a car picture has Dutch plates, I could suggest that color and pick it in the image to help the conditional probability of the AI narrow the palette. Nice work!

Holy shit. I've been looking for an easy way to colorize my grandfather's photos from Iwo jima and the occupation of Japan.

Palette helped me in an easy way to bring the old picture of my grand-grandfather to life and make the memories more relatable to my generation. I tried many tools, but none was as easy to handle and brought such an amazing result as Palette. Thank you very much.

Dude this is incredible. It works even on drawings that never had color to begin with!

Wow I just tried this by removing the saturation on a photo I took and then uploading it to the website, the photo was super accurate!

The ease of use, speed and accuracy are impressive. I tried doing a colorization by hand a few years ago using photoshop. It took a long time and it was not as good. Over the years, I've read that a products that's 10x better will be a game changer. I think you have, at least, a 10x better product. Congratulations!

Just wow. Super easy, and I got great results. Some filters are too rainbow colored, but I imagine that is very image dependent. There was usually at least one good default filter result, and adding some additional keywords improved the output.
