A quick and powerful way to shorten urls and produce QR codes

I love the no fuss way you can shorten your long URL links to make it easier to share and easier to read. It is also super easy to make a QR code from the created links that can be shared on printouts, socials, apps etc.I also like the way you can make a batch of QR codes then add links later which is handy if you need to get brochures, flyers printed whilst still working on the content that it will link to.

Pxl.to is a link shortener tool that is easy to use and is useful for linking to external content using affiliate links and for getting analytics. I also like that it is hosted on Amazon CloudFront so it is reliable and will have almost no downtime.

The platform is easy to set up, easy to generate links and customise the domain name. Being able to amend/update destination links is really useful. What we particularly like is the ability to upload a thumbnail/preview image for the link - this is great when sharing content on social platforms as we can customise the preview for posts with external URLs.

Love the UI, missing some features

Hello, chose this product over others mainly because of the great UI! This is how its done. What would be amazing to have is: - Notifications for dead links, e.g. everytime a link is visited ich checks for 404 errors. If there is one you get notified. Makes it easier to update things if you have a lot of links. - Simple tracking, I know this goes beyond what shortening tools usually do, but this could absolutely set you appart from the competition. So it would be nice to be able to create a funnel and see which links perform best. Keep up the good work! PS: Where can I find the roadmap?

You probably have another links shortener..but here is the thing. Do you have one that you can give you access with API to bulk create it? I like this tool because it is easy to use and have most functions that you need. I like the bulk import and the API access. Would be nice to see dynamic link rotation. This software has a very easy to use control panel. I like the easy way to duplicate and use links with pixels. Although I have another product I use this just seems, faster, easier and the other software always seems to show its icon for the link even after I change it. This is a very easy upload and the link has custom photo and text as intended. Highly recommend it.

Disruptive pricing plan

There were a few short urls offers even here in AppSumo, but I have to say this is the one I'm waiting for - unlimited links. One thing that wasn't highlighted is you can change the link image - this is fantastic as I use different images when posting on Facebook. Not to mention the support from William is really prompt and helpful. Interface is simple enough which is not a bad thing as other seems to clutter. I sincerely hope pxl.to will grow big! The one feature I'm waiting next is the API, and I believe there are a few others sitting on the fence due to this as well. Last checked, on the roadmap!

I am using it for some times and found Pxl team is working for the improvement. Initially has some less features, but now it has all of the required features. It has simple and clean UI design. All basic Analytics features. I like that it allow to add pixels in advance before creating the links and when we create the links we can simply select these pixels. Updating the link preview image, title and description. Their are some great features on the roadmap like API, public sharable link analytics, branded QR codes and WordPress integration, if these features are delivered by the team then it will became a great tool for everybody how need this.

I like how they make URL redirection simple and mask all the parameters we wrote for our understanding , I was using bit.ly and tinyurl for URL shortening, but pxl.to has proven to be better than them. The user interface is just amazing.

My only wish is to be able to set up the redirection for the ROOT DOMAIN mapping (where the root without the slug leads to), and also any 404 pages error. like "rootdomain.com/erroneous-slug" will redirect to blog.rootdomain.com, and the toplevel link "rootdomain.com" will redirect to https://app.rootdomain.com. As soon as William Paul (pxl.to Creator) humbly confirmed that its QR code is dynamic and there are a few more enhancements coming up, I bought it in a heartbeat. An awesome deal - the pixel is a game changer for affiliates

I know this service is not aimed specifically at affiliate marketers, but if you are on just consider this: On your affiliate link you can drop your pixel - so many offers wont let you put a pixel on their offer page. Now that doesnt matter - this is huge. OK this will only be on the offer page (not the purchased page) but this is still a great way of building a remarketing audience. Its all really easy to set up - does exactly what it says on the tin Also their support is incredibly helpful and responsive :) A wise purchase!

After an impatient start (my fault entirely), pxl.to looks to deliver everything it promises. As mentioned in other reviews the interface is simple and easy to navigate and create from. The links work and their setup is simple enough for anyone with a passing knowledge to achieve their intended results. The offering is generous and I'm certainly glad I took the plunge here. Their roadmap appears to have a lot of potential improvements, too!

I was on the fence about this as I already have a couple of similar tools, including Pixel Me and Rocketlink. I decided to take the jump though after seeing the roadmap and they have bio/landing pages coming. It's a nice interface, very similar to the other tools I have used and easy to figure out without a manual. I like that you can add multiple domains and the selection of pixels is great as well. Redirects are quick and it's easy to tag them, so you can be organized. If you need a tool like this, this is a good one!

I already have switchy but the offer of unlimited clicks & links is compelling. The interface is very clean. Very modern. The analytics dashboard is excellent. Easy to read & simple to filter. I set up a custom domain & my first link within minutes. Tested it & all good. Some great features on the roadmap. So looking forward to the custom conversion events. Something I’ve always found missing from a lot of these types of tools. I’m sure the usual integrations will be implemented in time, so a really good offer. No brainer. My 2c.

Having a self-hosted URL shortener, I haven't looked at any other SAAS in the category, even the popular ones. But this one seems very promising; the infrastructure, simplicity, responsiveness of the founder. I just tested one short link. It worked as expected. And the platform is really fast. Having mission critical software self-hosted is a great peace of mind. But I found this one worth giving a try.

I was eyeing a decent link URL shortener for months and finally heard of Pxl.to. It has most of what I need (bio link landing page being on their roadmap) and is very easy to use. Features I like: - They do not rely on any centralized servers but Amazon AWS so you can expect reliability. - If you, like me. are a sucker for clean, minimalist UI, then you should check it out. - 10 domains are enough for me as a blogger but you can probably buy different plans (stacking would have been a better option since everything would be under one email, I guess) - I saw the William (founder) on a FB group (that's how I knew of Pxl.to) and he was extremely responsive, very transparent (as he said, they don't do everything Switchy does), and very clear about the way they want the product to take shape (he said, they'll never add link cloaking feature) - Nested links support - Chrome extension - A multi-locale custom privacy notice is on their roadmap - UTM marking - Pixel retargeting support (FB, Reddit, TikTok etc) - Auto generates SSL that's triggered by the first visit to your custom domain - Doesn't need deep links, and supports the new "universal link" standards that let URLs open up in their respective apps. Features I would love to see: - Folder support for organizing links - Fallback URL (for those times when we somehow have downtimes) - A/B testing (95% sure this is not there, but in case they have it, I'll update the review). We can organize our short links with tags and then quick insert them into an email or social post using the Chrome extension. The UI is refreshingly clean and simple, it feels like a mature product without the usual bugs you would expect from an early stage SaaS. I like the fact that it has TLD redirect with tracking. I haven’t seen anyone else offer this. It allows me to give out a custom domain to my calendar booking page like “meetwithme.com”. Sure, it’s a redirect, but it’s a nice first impression. I’ve used other services that have “cloaking” and while that’s nice, I can’t use a clean TLD, it has to be “meetwithme.com/something”. Pros: - unlimited links - Chrome extension - TLD redirect (haven’t seen anyone else offer this) - great UI - tracking pixels and utm support - founder is very responsive Needs: - some 3rd party integrations would be great but it looks like that’s on the roadmap
