Reviews for the Qroo Spanish Crew

It is like having coffee with a friend. I love the fact that things are explained in a simple way. I have already recommended it to others. Money well spent!

I didn't know any word in spanish, and i didn't no i will learn Spanish.but it surprised me i meet a Latino man and he become my boyfriend so it forced me to learn Spanish, and since i had alot i didn't have to attend classes in college i search for lessons on you tube and qroo paul was the first professor of Spanish which I came across so far it's half a year and am really improving talking to my boyfriend spanish because i understand so well when qroo explain it. Thank you so much qroo. I want to join your lessons but i don't have the payment method that you have.

This is absolutely the BEST platform to learn (improve) Spanish! Qroo Paul explains everything in a way that makes Spanish easily understandable and actually fun! I've learned more from Paul in the few short months I've been part of the Qroo crew than in all the years I studied Spanish and worked with all my Spanish-speaking friends combined!

I had tried multiple other ways of learning Spanish, but I kept getting confused and making rookie mistakes, and my progress was so slow, despite spending lots of time trying. Qroo Paul has amazing videos that build on what you already know in English. I have made more progress in the last few months than years with other learning materials. I am really impressed with this program.

I am new and just want to say I have learned more in three free videos from you than three years with another Spanish system. Thanks

Paul has an excellent approach to teaching Spanish. He understands grammar and explains everything in an understandable manner. You will have fun learning Spanish with Paul.

My daughter, Zoe, is bilingual and recently married Luis, from Paraguay who speaks basic English, not fluent or conversational. To help him feel welcomed into our family, my son, Jacob, and myself said we'd learn Spanish. Luis was so excited about this that I felt compelled to actually try on a serious level, not just a few words here and there. Jacob found Qroo Paul online and we were doing the Cero to Conversational free videos. So awesome! I actually believed I had a real chance of learning Spanish! I'm 55 and have no 2nd language experience from school or anywhere else. Anyway, when Jacob realized the Skool had summary sheets and work pages, he was all over that and signed up for the Lifetime program. He signed me up and I tell you, I thought the free version was excellent, Skool blows that out of the water!! Jacob and I use the worksheets to practice with eachother each week. We'll read the questions to eachother in English, and answer in Spanish, then swap to reading the questions in Spanish to answer in English. I love, love love, the Skool videos so much. And Zoe who has overhead Jacob and me, now wants in as well, because there's so much she still wants to learn to improve the Spanish she already knows. We all say Qroo Paul is phenomenal in teaching us the information! And Skool has an abundance of learning options such as Spanish class taught in Spanish by native speaking Spanish folk. And Spanish story reading and SO much more. I just can't express enough how excited I am to be part of Skool and have great anticipation for where I'll be in a year. Day 1 you start with speaking and in just a month, I'm having conversations. They're very basic, and I can be painfully slow, but wow, I never would have dreamed that I'd be conversing within a month. 200% recommended!

When trying to learn Spanish, it can often be overwhelming trying to know where to start and how to progress. Paul does an outstanding job of organizing and presenting material in a way that makes sense and works. It is also particularly helpful to learn from someone who has such a great grasp of the language but is a native English speaker. Paul understands how the English-speaking mind tends to approach language, and he uses this to present patterns, in Spanish, that are VERY helpful. Finally, the community at QROO Spanish Crew is very encouraging and engaging. If English is your first language and you want to learn Spanish, this is the place to be. Check it out.

I have been with the Spanish Crew for about a year now...I am still working through the lessons and I started out with the Spanish Master Course. I take the lessons seriously. I have paid tutors from Argentina, and other places but my comprehension of the language has elevated due to the teaching style of Qroo Paul. When I visit other apps and listen to other platforms, I find the reason I understand as much as I do is because of what I have learned from Qroo Paul's classroom and YouTube videos. The Qroo Paul Spanish Crew Classroom is the best!!!!

I don't have the best of memories and so I have struggled for sometime trying to speak Spanish ,with Qroo Paul I find I don't have the same problem what he says and how it is presented makes sense and is easier to remember..thank you

The Qroo Spanish Crew is an excellent place to work on learning Spanish. The format is varied and lessons are clear and comprehensive. I especially like the approach he uses with stories. I showed my son the site when he came for a visit and he joined the next day. Said he loved the lessons and I concur. Exceptional value. These comments only scratch the surface of what is available to aid your Spanish learning.

¡Hola! I’ve only been part of the Qroo Spanish Crew for a few months. I had plateaued with other platforms and resources. Repetition was helping with pronunciation, however I wasn’t retaining what I was trying to learn. I also kept wondering why you would say things certain ways. I knew I needed to understand grammar and sentence structure in the Spanish language to advance. I came upon one of Qroo Paul’s YouTube videos and knew I had found what I was missing to progress in learning Spanish. He gives the basics on grammar followed by lots of useful formulas and examples you can use to build your own sentences. I also find his practice translations, lesson summaries, and exercises solidify the concepts of each lesson in my mind. The method and study tips he gives throughout the lessons are extremely practical. I’m glad to have found the Qroo Spanish Crew. ¡Hasta luego!

Thank you! Even though I have some Spanish classes and practice under my belt, every lesson teaches me something new or adds some polish to my existing skills. Lesson are fun, motivating, and taught in manageable blocks. Paul is an excellent teacher who had taken away my sense of being scattered and overwhelmed in my approach to learning Spanish. I began this program with caution because I've tried many others, but I can now recommend Qroo Spanish Crew without hesitation.

I’m so glad I found QRoo Paul (completely by accident before going on a cruise) 2 years ago on YouTube. He is the best Spanish teacher I’ve come across, bar none. I was motivated to try to learn Spanish again when my daughter started studying it in school. His style is so easy going (yet, very targeted), I was able to start speaking with her to practice almost immediately even though I couldn’t always understand her responses at first. When I saw that he was starting the QRoo Spanish Crew, it was a no-brainer for me to sign up for the lifetime membership. There is new content constantly being added, and the community is so welcoming. I’m excited to see how this group grows going forward. Plus, I’m excited to continue my Spanish language journey with this awesome teacher and group of fellow learners.

¡Hola! I love Qroo Paul's style of teaching because he comes from a native English speaker's perspective and is focused on Latin American Spanish. Qroo Paul is conversational, casual, clear and direct in his explanation of the Spanish language. He's positive, supportive and sometimes funny. He speaks of the subjunctive tense as the keystone to learning Spanish, which I actively practice. My husband is Mexican and I have the advantage of speaking and learning Spanish with him. He has lived in the USA for 30 years, has dual citizenship, and speaks English. My major goal is to become fluent because my husband and I are moving to Mexico in September (2025). We will both be retired and headed to Playa Del Carmen in the state of Quintana Roo. Thanks to Qroo Paul I have more confidence in my ability to speak Spanish! ¡Así es! ~ Flora Del Angel

I stumbled upon Paul through YouTube. His approach is different from many instructors in that he admits you are going to have to translate certain things in your head and it is best to focus on conjugating for I and you vs learning he/she/it, we, and they. I had learned this before finding Paul but I think it would have sped my application up. His Cero to Fluent program is a great place to start though, and recommend his program over any of the apps or online programs I have tried. The lifetime membership is cheap if you use it like it is designed. If nothing else, sign up for a month or two and see how it works for you.

This channel is really working for my learning style. I fine it well structured and Paul just boils things down to the essentials that you need to move forward. His style is engaging and keeps my attention. All the scattered bits I've learned before are finally coming together. I'm really glad I joined the Qroo Spanish Crew.

QRooPaul’s Spanish school is an excellent tool to help you learn and improve your Spanish. His manner and approach to teaching suits my learning style perfectly. I couldn’t recommend him more highly other than to say he’s worth every penny and so much more. Thanks Paul for all your work.

I am really enjoying the Qroo Spanish Crew lessons. I think that Qroo Paul's life experience of teaching himself Spanish so that he could do his job better gives him a unique perspective on the language learning process. You can watch the lessons over and over. There is printable material available for many of the lessons. I appreciate his light hearted delivery.

I have had many Spanish teachers on ground and Online in the past years. Paul is the best of all. He teaches me what I NEED to know instead of what is NICE to know. I can apply the content as soon as the lessons end.

A wonderful investment. Paul has every level you need. I've been sick and haven't been able to study anything. It's still all there! Where I left off.

It’s great being part of a learning community, and the Qroo Crew is the best. My progress was stagnating until I discovered Qroo Paul’s lessons. For the first time I’m learning with understanding. It’s awesome!

I’m a beginner and have recently joined the Qroo Spanish Crew as a lifetime member. I’m extremely glad and grateful to have found this channel because Paul is an excellent teacher and provides extensive and comprehensive material on this channel for all levels.

I've been using different language systems the use a similar plug in phrases, such as Paul Noble's audio books, which I can listen to while doing other things. But because these systems don't give grammatical explanations I'm left with related questions. Paul answers those grammatical questions and even opened me up to questions I was unaware of. For example I was unaware of the Spanish use of the subjunctive mood.

I have been taking part in Paul’s online learning program for over a year. During that period I have learned about Spanish in ways that I had not for 3 years of study. He is a gifted teacher: clear, concise, creative and responsive. I believe that anyone wishing to learn Spanish would greatly benefit from teaching.

Qroo has the best videos and instruction of anyone I’ve seen; YouTube, instagram, whatever. He is easy to understand and describes everything in a way that makes sense. It has really helped me understand all of the concepts that have been difficult for me. His recommendations for other resources are spot on, as well. Highly recommend these lessons!!!!

If your mother tongue is English, Qroo is exactly who you need to learn Spanish. That is critical. He knows precisely what you're going through and shows you the way. Let him. He literally grabs a cup of coffee and takes you through it nice and relaxed yet challenging. He's an excellent compliment to my Venezuelan tutor. Oh, and don't worry, he has plenty of live native speaker tutor lessons on file, so you can get both sides. The most important point is he loves what he does and it shows every. single. day.

I have been obsessed with learning Spanish since 1995. I spend a couple of hours every day studying. I have used the entire Bilingual America program, Duolingo, Destinos, Babbel, Pimsleur, and other programs like it, many online courses and videos, and countless books. Until I met Qroo Paul, I had been confused and hesitant to actually speak Spanish with anyone; constantly translating in my mind, and questioning myself. After decades, my first real conversation I had was with our housekeeper, and that was after studying with Paul for only a short time. I discovered Qroo Paul I guess a couple of years ago. I live in San Antonio where a majority speak Spanish. I love the Mexican culture. But I was never confident enough to have a conversation until recently. (I am also a perfectionist, which has not been good). But Paul has a way of presenting Spanish that I had never experienced. His commitment to his students is bar none. His laid-back, friendly style, and fun personality, in addition to his vast knowledge about the language, combine to make studying with him a purely enjoyable experience. I appreciate so much his videos and stories!

I love the Qroo Paul Skool series of Spanish classes. I've really tried to learn Spanish over the years. I have participated in many, many classes and met with a handful of tutors. My scenario was always the same, starting at ground zero. My husband and I joked that maybe I'll never be able to learn Spanish. He knew how much I wanted to learn. I have to say from the first video, the order of the material presented, it really clicks and sinks in. Now I'm able to communicate with strangers in Mexico where before they could never understand what I was saying. I also need to note that these classes are fun, entertaining and you feel engaged. I have made a greater commitment to learning Spanish and putting the time in daily. Qroo Paul motivates you to want to learn more. I'm seeing the results and my husband says whatever I'm doing, keep doing it. Thanks Qroo Paul, I didn't think I had any hope after spending so much money and time with depressing results. If anyone is struggling or looking for a simpler way to learn Spanish, Qroo Paul is definitely your go to.

Paul is amazing. His teaching style is very clear and concise with easy to understand explanations and examples. At the end of each lesson I always feel satisfied with what I learned and how to apply it and finding the time as enjoyable and worthwhile always keeps me coming back for more. It is an awesome site the keeps growing and improving.

I've been studying Spanish form various sources for a while now as I'm planning to move to South America. I signed up for the Qroo Spanish Crew a week ago, and it's been great. This has been the thing I've been missing! While I love learning from different sources, I was having trouble retaining the information and trying to create an organized way of remembering what I was learning. The video lessons are clear and well structured, never boring. But the most useful thing for me has been the lesson summary and study questions included in each short lesson segment. It's the organization piece I've been looking for. I have a new excitement about studying Spanish. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I just love Paul's easy going manner, his sense of humour, his explanations of EVERYTHING. He is so clear and easy to understand. Best bang for your buck in learning Spanish!

I have been studying Spanish on various platforms and Paul’s has been the most helpful to me. He has a talent for explaining grammar and conversational Spanish so that it makes more sense and is easier to remember. I would not be at the same level without his help. The platform is user friendly and has lots of different ways to learn and interact with him and other members. Highly recommend!

Qroo Paul is absolutely awesome!!! I have been trying to learn Spanish for years and I have tried many different platforms, to no avail. This time, I feel like I struck gold! Qroo Paul created a system where it becomes easier to understand and it clicks. His plug and play structure has made it so that I finally get things. I listen to his videos repeatedly when I’m driving. When I’m at home, I can read and take notes. I LOVE that he has summaries and worksheets at the end of many lessons. I love the community he’s built and which is growing! Me encantan las historias! He also gives short stories and it forces you to really pay attention and you can also read it in both English and Spanish. Everything about this is brilliant and I’m soooo happy. It’s so much fun and I never get bored. Also I don’t get frustrated anymore. When I don’t get something, I just relisten to the lesson and then bam! It makes sense. Thank you QRoo Paul!!

Paul is a class act, his lessons are well structured and cover all aspects of Spanish in an engaging way. The clear explanations make even tricky (for me anyway) concepts like the subjunctive understandable and the mix of videos with audio features and interactive features keeps learning fresh, enjoyable and effective. Highly recommended for anyone serious about improving your Spanish, whatever your level.

Firstly, I would like to offer my sincere endorsement and recommendation to Qroo Paul. His consistant and terrific approach to teaching. I’ve learnt so much from his thorough follow up of each lesson with PDFs , the way he has handled every aspect of grammar. And more recently his summaries of the stories explaining every detail. I am so appreciative of what he has taught me - as nothing has been too much for Paul. Thank you Paul And the very best to you Linda and the gang for 2025

I have been following this Chanel for a long time, as well as many others. The Qroo crew has become my favourite by far. Paul’s approach to teaching is excellent and the content is unbeatable. he is very logical, easy to understand and I have learned a lot following this Chanel. Also the cost is very reasonable and the best value for money on the internet. I would highly recommend this Chanel to anyone. - Phil (Toronto )

The Qroo Paul system is by far the best Spanish-learning resource I have come across. It's fun and effective and I have learned a lot. It has great instructional videos, from beginner to advanced, with a recommended order in which to watch them. Qroo Paul will even, on occasion, create a video in response to a member's question or interest. New videos are added on a regular basis. There is also a community section in which members can ask each other and Qroo Paul questions, make comments and offer recommendations. Qroo Paul sends frequent emails with news and updates. Finally, he refers members to additional Spanish-learning resorces.

My husband and I began visiting an orphanage in Iquitos, Peru nearly 10 years ago and I immediately wanted to learn their language. I've tried Fluenz, Duolingo, beginner Spanish books, flash cards, etc. I became so discouraged that I gave up. Then on our last visit in August 2024, my desire to learn was renewed. I found free videos on Youtube, but Paul's Qroo Spanish were the ones that stood out. It wasn't long before I subscribed to the Qroo Spanish Crew. He's so invested in teaching and he's a great teacher! I have to listen to the lessons several times each, but his style makes it easy to learn new things that actually STICK. I consider myself a baby beginner, but I have improved noticeably. I hope that with consistency (not perfection) I will be speaking fluently in the next year and a half!

I myself am a high school biology teacher of 22 years. I have been studying Spanish for several years using a multitude of resources. I have been a paid member of the QRoo Crew since its inception. My Spanish language skills have improved significantly since then. As a veteran professional educator, nothing is more valuable to me than my integrity and my reputation. With this in mind, I can personally assure you that Paul is both an expert in his knowledge base, and an expert in the art and science of teaching. It is abundantly clear that Paul wears on his sleeve his heart for his devotion to his craft and his passion for actually fulfilling his goal of helping his students to improve their skills in communicating in Spanish. As with any skill, gaining skill in Spanish requires significant time and repeated practice. If you are truly willing to devote this time and practice, I can assure you that QRoo Paul is THE BEST source of online Spanish language instruction. Sincerely, Mr. David Fenster

Joining the Qroo Crew has been the best investment I have made in my language learning. I started out with his free videos on YouTube and they were so helpful that I didn't hesitate to sign up. I was honestly lost in the Spanish learning wilderness before I found his channel. And the great content just keeps coming!

Just started the Qroo Spanish Crew after using many other Spanish language programs. What I most appreciate about this awesome community/program: 1) His clear, simple, practical, and easy-to-follow approach; 2) Very user-friendly group portal/website, 3) Excellent examples/exercises, 4) A great sense of humor and very down-to-earth approach, and 5) Sharing differences/nuances among Spanish-speaking countries. Thank you, so glad to be here!

Lo mejor de los mejores! I have had many false starts learning Spanish - on my own, in small classes, and with private instructors, and let it all lapse (several times). The way the material is organized on Qroo Spanish Crew, along with Paul's teaching style, is simply the best. I speak, read, and comprehend better than I've ever achieved with any other method. It's everything you need if you are motivated to succeed.

The work that Paul puts into the Qroo Spanish crew is invaluable. So much useful information along with excellent organization. Along side Paul there are numerous members that are more than willing to answer any questions and help you on your journey of learning another language. 5 stars all around.

A really efficient and enjoyable way to learn Spanish. I'm always looking forward to new content and often review old content as well. And the community discussions can be very educational as well. Highly recommend.

Joining the QROO Spanish Crew is one of the best learning decisions I have made. The secret sauce in Paul's methods is the combination of understanding what concepts we as native English speakers are struggling with (and why) and then explaining them in a succinct and entertaining manner. I look forward to every video with excitement, especially the stories and book readings where he breaks down every sentence. Highly recommended. Pro tip: get the lifetime membership. The usefulness/cost ratio is incredible.

Born to teach. That’s all you need to know about Qroo Paul. You can see immediately his exceptional skill in teaching Spanish to learners at all levels. His high-quality visuals and his clear, well-structured content facilitate learning. His genuine desire to continuously upgrade his site by incorporating new videos and thoughtfully integrating student suggestions into his teaching is undeniable. He is blessed with excellent vocal resonance that ensures clarity and ease of understanding. Engagement is a priority. Learners in his “crew” actively practice the language through the lessons and other activities and can connect with each other for help and advice as well as asking questions directly to Qroo Paul. This commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic environment makes learning Spanish enjoyable and effective.

I took to Paul very quickly after seeing him on YouTube then joined his crew. My Spanish is improving at a good pace due to his teaching style and lesson options and now the little stories. His enthusiasm ever wanes!

Hi Paul, I think you are an excellent teacher. You make Spanish fun. You know how to simplify your teachings. I watch all the videos, and thought to myself that Spanish is doable!!! Your homework practices are really helpful. I have been studying Spanish on and off for several years now. I can follow and relate to you!!!!! SIMPLE and CLEAR explanations!!! I have been recommending you to many people that want to study Spanish. I also do italki for conversation and listening practices. I asked my teacher (Mexico City) to refer his students to you as well. Best of luck to you Paul:) Thank you for all you do Paul :) Jintana Licht

In six weeks it will have been 1 year since I joined the Qroo Spanish Crew and I can honestly say that I have made more progress in the last year than the previous 5 combined. The site gave me the structure needed and specific place to start my Spanish studies every day. The steady and intense involvement with the other members helped me progress each and every week. Another great aspect of the site is that we can discuss specific grammar questions or learn study techniques between the members. There are some members on the site who know the language quite well and are always available to help out. The primary reason I joined was the way Paul can explain concepts and grammar points that didn’t previously stick; and there is plenty of material on the site to learn new material and review. Also another incredible feature; if you have a specific question, you can ask Paul directly and get a prompt and excellent answer or explanation if needed. If you are seriously interested in improving your understanding of the Spanish language, this site will give the support you need to flourish.

I’ve been studying Spanish for over 10 years, using all sorts of apps, and until I started using Qroo I never understood the subjunctive tense, which I hear the Spanish speakers using all the time. Qroo has really boosted my speaking skills. Thank you, and happy holidays.

I use several sources for input as I learn Spanish. But Qroo Paul is, by far, the source I turn to more than the others. I like the approach that his content is based on... The idea that learning language as an adult can be achieved by learning patterns.

My Spanish has improved significantly conversational wise since finding Qroo! I’ve been telling everybody about him! The way grammar is broken down. It’s unbelievably clear now! Wish I’d found him years ago when I was younger and more involved.

Paul is an excellent resource and has improved my spanish considerably. I alway look forward to his new videos and am very grateful for his help.

I'm very thankful I came across Qroo Paul when I began to learn Spanish, so I've had the best from the beginning. He is the best teacher I have ever come across and always has time for his students.

I think Qroo Paul is a fantastic teacher. Plus he offers so much more than your typically online Spanish teachers. There are live classes, story time to work on listening comprehension, reviews on different learning systems available, constant new material, plus more. And well… again his teaching method is fantastic.

I enthusiastically recommend the Qroo Crew subscription to anyone that is either motivated to begin to learn Spanish or to refine your Spanish skills. There is a distinctive difference between Qroo Paul and most Spanish language teachers. Paul is a native English speaker who understands the challenges and obstacles that an English speaker has when trying to learn Spanish. I’ve had lots of good teachers who were first language Spanish speakers. They just don’t understand why we don’t understand while trying to learn Spanish. Paul gets-it. I’ve filled a lot of potholes in my Spanish by listening to Qroo Paul’s videos. By the way, I’m classified as a high intermediate Spanish language speaker.

This dude is good. :-) Best conversational approach I have seen...and I've seen a lot. If you are passionate about becoming a functional spanish speaking person. Do this ... :-)

Yes my Spanish has improved as a direct result of being a member of the Qroo Crew. Firstly through the vast amount of existing focused teaching material on Paul's Skool.com site and secondly through the many new insights on using various aspects of speaking Spanish. I find the Qroo Crew site a great resource where I can find answers to the many questions I have about speaking Spanish. And if I ask a question I get a useful answer. Would I recommend the Qroo Crew to others? That is definitely a yes. I have subscribed to several paid for Spanish resources which I've then cancelled. The one site I have always stayed with is the Qroo Crew, it's simply very useful and excellent value for money.

Do you want to speak Spanish and understand the reply? Do you want to stop pausing whilst trying to translate every syllable and full stop from Spanish into your native tongue and back again? Then give Skool Qroo a chance and join our Crew! It is a decision that you will never regret. I came to Skool Qroo just before giving up with online Spanish learning. I was so frustrated with eight months of trying app after app. I was watching videos of so many experts who would have me fluent in 30 days. Sound familiar? Have you heard of an English saying - A fool and their money are soon parted? Well I was that fool! I needed to invest in a teacher who would help me recall Spanish easily without confusion. I wanted to learn Spanish logically and naturally and not just try to build a 90 day streak! Paul is the teacher of a PATTERN method which works! He makes small Spanish carriages to fit on your own personal train engine. You build up the sentence structure and then boom! you have a mile long locomotive! You will find that by following his advice and listening to his stories, soon you will be understanding Spanish as spoken by real Spanish people, not just repeating a textbook and forgetting everything in 5 minutes. Then, when as we all do, you get a crisis of confidence, you can jump into the Crew community forum where you will find suggestions and tips and tricks that will get over that painful plateau. His method, his videos and this community means that Spanish becomes fun not a chore. It is a real family who support and don't judge, they know your pain, because they have all been there... So make that move, you will be so glad that you did!

Finally my grammar is better! Now my husband can understand me and he says I speak like a native. That is the ultimate compliment. Thanks Qroo!!

Plug and play sentences starters on free UTube channel are great to avoid awkward silence, but Qroo Spanish Crew gives structured in depth classes that develop better conversional skills. Great crew to discuss questions and ask for advise about Spanish.

I discovered this site by accident and I have been a faithful listener for 2 years now. I decided I really wanted to learn Spanish and have a tutor who is from Central America. I have found QRoo Paul to be an excellent addition to my tutor, as Paul explains things from an English speaker's point of view. I regularly listen to the videos in my car, sometimes multiple times for each video. It reinforces what I am studying with my tutor. I tell everyone I know to try out QRoo Paul and they will be sold. I have progressed quite a lot over this time. I still need to practice speaking more and working on my listening skills, but my reading comprehension is pretty good. And I am learning to figure out why things are written in Spanish certain ways, especially when the subjunctive is used. I like every aspect of the site except I have not participated in the live sessions mostly due to time conflicts. I have listened to other Spanish education videos and QRoo Paul is by far the best of all of them. Joining the Spanish crew is well worth the money.

I've learned more in 2 weeks with Qroo Paul's method of teaching than in 3 months of in person classes and Duolingo. I knew almost nothing and now can converse in simple sentences. Can't recommend it enough!

I joined the QRoo Spanish Crew as soon as Paul announced it. Having studied Spanish for several years, there are several YouTube teachers I have followed. But Paul’s teaching technique is different and more relatable to a native English speaker. As a QROO Spanish Crew member, I find the material Paul prepares for us to be the best. He listens to what the members need and creates content/experiences for us to learn. And he always makes difficult concepts simple. His focus is on getting us to speak quickly. My listening comprehension and reading ability have improved. And my conversations are more thoughtful and deeper as I’m using interesting ‘starter phrases’ and I now understand some of the concepts I’ve studied time again and never ‘got’ until now. It feels like the members all have a relationship with Paul and each other. It’s really a community. We’re all at different levels but everyone helps the other. I have recommended the QROO Spanish Crew to several other student friends. And my husband wants to ‘restart’ his learning after many years. I suggested he start with the Spanish Master Class on the site. Fingers crossed. You can lead a horse to water….

I first found “Spanish With Qroo Paul” on YouTube as I began my journey to learn Spanish 8 months ago. The one thing that made the lessons impactful for me was it came from a native English speakers perspective who taught himself Spanish. He understands the aspects of the language that English speakers struggle with. He also took the approach of focusing on things early on that were more commonly used in the language but not taught until you hit the higher levels of Spanish such as the subjunctive mood. Just that alone made a huge difference in my learning. Being part of “The Qroo Spanish Crew” elevated my learning as not only were the videos organized in an easy to follow format but there is a section where a story is read and Paul reviews it sentence by sentence explaining why certain moods and tenses are used and how sentences are structured. Also, I have asked many questions and Paul will provide a detailed explanation as he answers your questions. I just returned from a trip to Mexico City and spoke Spanish with many people! Uber drivers, tour guides, waiters, hotel staff, etc. and my husband was shocked that I could hold a 10-15 min conversation in Spanish (so was I 😂). I spend 2-3 hours studying most days and thanks to Paul it’s fun and it’s addictive and it’s working! Do yourself a favor and join the crew!

Hi, I’m Ken, I have been studying Spanish with Qroo Paul for several years and joined the Qroo Spanish Crew 1 1/2 years ago. Paul is awesome, I have progressed from struggling to intermediate while watching his videos and reading the books that he has recommended. I would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to learn Spanish CORRECTLY, to watch Qroo Paul.

I love this platform and Paul's style of teaching! There are a variety of ways to learn; videos, listening to stories, an active community, exercises, live lessons and I can review lessons as many times as needed. Honestly, this site (Paul) been a great asset to building confidence. I recommend his site all the time to folks and still singing his praises!

My Spanish has improved significantly since discovering Qroo Paul on Youtube and then signing up for life with the Qroo Spanish Crew. I like most the learning patterns taught which goes well with my learning. There is SO much content and that is amazing for anyone hungry for knowledge. Clear and concise messaging on the lessons. Another plus is thr summaries and worksheets to help the lesson really set in. 100% i’d recommend Qroo Spanish Crew. I’ve already recommended to a few friends who have a need to learn Spanish. I hope they join me on this journey as it’s been very helpful.

I took Spanish in high school and college - never made any progress. Qroo Spanish Crew in a very short amount of time has helped me make vast improvements. Beyond the lessons, I now practice by thinking in Spanish as Paul advises, using Spanish at restaurants, watching Spanish content he brings to the table, etc. He makes it fun and interesting to learn with a variety of approaches beyond the main program while still keeping everything structured. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

After classes, online tutors, books, programs etc. I can say this the best instruction that I have ever had. It is great to have a maestro who learned the language because of work requirements. I live in a Spanish-speaking country and Qroo Paul has helped upgrade my skills to another level.

I was stuck on my journey to learn Spanish, but the pattern learning approach and subjunctive triggers on the Qroo site has helped me tremendously! The site is terrific as I am able to interact with Paul and other members and the site includes exclusive content for members. For those Spanish learners who are just starting out or need to get over a hurdle the Qroo site is the best place to go, I have been a member for a couple of years and love it. Very highly recommended!

The Qroo Spanish Crew was the best investment I've made in truly improving my Spanish. But as there are lots of people/companies vying for your money with promises to help you achieve Spanish fluency, here's why I think this is the best investment I've made: Paul's free videos are awesome, and I originally supported the Qroo Spanish Crew just to say "thank you for creating accessible, informative, and useful videos." Honestly I don't know that I had expectations for too much more from the paid program, because so many people create free stuff, create a paywall, and then don't really deliver much more value for paying customers. Wow, was I mistaken. While still offering free videos at the same level of usefulness as before, Paul offers additional support to the Qroo Spanish Crew members. Not only answering questions that expand on what he delivers for free (it seems he's online every day), but creating exclusive videos to explain different concepts, sharing and walking through the act of reading Spanish stories (to help everyone get more from their own reading), and bringing in teachers for live, exclusive events. And all that would be great, and perhaps that was Paul's vision. But something magical occurred... Paul has created a community. In an environment devoid of the worst of social media, people like you and me come together to share our experiences, answer questions (there are members at all Spanish levels in the Crew), share tools, techniques, ideas, and even recently starting live conversation meetings to help each other practice speaking in safe and supportive space. I look forward to logging in (website) or opening my phone app to see what people have posted or Paul has shared. I learn something new, and relevant, every day. Every day. So I really do see this as an amazing investment in.my acquisition of Spanish. I purchased the lifetime membership and definitely received that much value in less than a year.

I was not progressing in my Spanish learning until I became a member of the Qroo Spanish Crew. Paul is an excellent instructor and the members only website is organized to maximize learning. There are hundreds of Spanish learning platforms but none provide the value and moitivation as the Qroo Crew. I highly recommend membership. You will not regret it.

My Spanish has greatly improved as a result of being a member. I can now speak Spanish confidently when traveling in foreign countries and I'm able to navigate without relying on Google translate which wasn't the case 6 months ago. The things I like best about the site are how readily available Paul makes himself to help members improve their understanding of Spanish, how often new content is added, and how organized the videos are in the classroom section. I'm also a really big fan of the community section because it helps to see if someone has already addressed topics that I may have questions about. I would definitely recommend the Qroo Spanish Crew to others because it's basically a one stop shop for all things Spanish learning.

My Spanish is improving drastically as a result of being a member of the Qroo Crew. The method of teaching is really great. I have taken Spanish on and off through the years and this is the most effective approach I have come across. The form of teaching is great. Also the fact that there is a written summary of each lesson at the end. I enjoy doing the exercises and it helps me to learn, as I see what I have done incorrectly and why. It is also helpful being part of the group. For me, the song and movie and book recommendations are appreciated as an adjunct to the classes. All in all the site is well designed for learning and is also fun.

My Spanish has dramatically improved since I joined Qroo Spanish Crew! I never understood how to use the present or imperfect subjunctive moods and thanks to Qroo Paul, I feel much more confident in my Spanish speaking abilities! What I like best is Qroo Paul's instruction techniques. He focuses on patterns and triggers in Spanish, which makes it SO much easier to formulate sentences for conversation.

Being a member of the Community has really propelled my Spanish speaking ability! Paul pays so much attention to his members and has clarified so many obstacles where I just couldn’t grasp the Spanish concepts on my own. His lesson plans and exclusive content videos are easy to follow along and he has a unique way of simplifying the most complex Spanish concepts. I would highly recommend anyone to join his community….definitely no regrets!

Paul has a unique teaching style, he is passionate and genuinely helps his students get to the next level, no matter where they are in their Spanish learning journey. I love the fact that I can ask Paul questions and he responds with indepth answers, for me this alone is priceless. The online courses, webinars, interaction with other students is brilliant. So if you are sitting on the fence and thinking about joining, just do it! You will love it! Thank you Paul for creating this amazing wonderful community. 🙏

My Spanish has improved since I joined Qroo Spanish Crew due to Paul's teaching style and his use of patterns. He makes learning Spanish memorable, relevant, and fun. I use a few other online Spanish sources, but this is by far my favorite and the only one I am willing to pay for. The site is easy to use and, in addition to Paul's expertise, subscribers have access to the wisdom and experience of other subscribers, which expands the value immeasurably. I highly recommend this resource to anyone learning Spanish, at any and all levels, from beginners to advanced.

What I like best is Paul's down to earth way of explaining everything - from grammar to casual expressions. Paul delivers it in small bites, easy to digest and easy to review. And he's very entertaining.

Paul’s teaching methods, presentation, and the material available on the site is extraordinary. He gives the tools to start speaking immediately, the lessons build a structure that allow the learning to progress as they work through those lessons, building on the material that has been presented. Explanation on how to use that material is concise and clear encouraging confidence as one builds vocabulary and strategies on how to construct their speech and engage in conversation. The time and effort the student puts into the lessons will dictate what they are able to achieve on their learning journey.

Qroo Paul has inspired me to continue learning Spanish on a continuous basis (little by little). He gives great advice, adds humor to his teaching, and continually gives encouragement. His program is well organized and easy to follow. He offers a variety of learning tools on his site that can be easily found, which definitely enhances the learning experience. I learned about Qroo Paul through You tube and now both my husband and I are huge fans of Qroo Paul Spanish Crew. I definitely recommend anyone to try it out.

I’ve learned many sentence starters, correct conjugations, and I continue to learn the use of the subjunctive with QROO Paul’s content. I have improved my Spanish with the knowledge gained from the various resources offered. What I like best about the site is the organization. The site is very easy to navigate. I also enjoy reading other members questions and responses from QROO Paul. I would recommend the QROO Spanish crew to others, because there is a wealth of Spanish resources to help new, intermediate, and more advanced Spanish language learners. I always learn something from every video that I watch.

I recommend the Qroo Spanish Crew A small group of us, six including me, got together at the beginning of COVID19 to teach each other Spanish. Yup! We needed help and we often turned to Qroo. We have all progressed, and we continue to meet weekly. I understand from some in the group who used a particular instructor that the instructor, also, used the information and videos that Qroo produced as aids in the instructor's Spanish class. I am a member of the Qroo Spanish Crew, and I highly recommend joining, if you're serious about learning Spanish. Heck, join even if you're not convinced that you can learn Spanish and you will be surprised to realize you can!

Paul does a great job. He has for years and he's continously getting better. I'd definitely recommend accessing these resources for any native English speaker who wants to improve their Spanish skills.

Paul helped me understand Spanish grammar with a method geared toward native English speakers. I never studied Spanish in High School or anything growing up but Paul’s simple teaching method and infectious positive attitude made the task of learning Spanish feel doable. Highly recommend!

I'm very picky & know how to chose a good teacher.(Had 5 yrs French learning, had very good Spanish profesora 30 yrs ago). Now, I'm so glad I that I found Paul. Not only his serious good teaching, but also his healthy life style, sincere attitude trying to give all he knew. It made me laugh every time when he said "You got this,! You got this! ". Thanks Paul

Best of all the Spanish courses I have ever taken. And I have spent hundreds of dollars on many other sites. Qroo Spanish gets down to the bare bones and builds on that. Every day, I get new phrases and words and grammar. AND they are put together to be able to use. Sure, sometimes (often) I get stuck, but I only have to re-watch until I understand. I really am glad to be a crew member. With Paul and the other students, who are a part of the crew, I have come a long way. Would I recommend the Qroo Spanish Crew to others? In a New Your minute. Finally, after years and years I have THE Spanish learning site that fits me so very well.

After studying Spanish for 10 years I know a lot, well, about 80% of a lot. However, this gap in my knowledge keeps me often from using various grammar constructs in my conversations. Qroo Paul has a way of explaining things that makes them stick in my cabeza! It has made me feel a lot more confident in speaking.

1) My spanish has definitely improved because the topics are very practical and often are areas that I struggled with. Pau;'s method of identifying patterns, useful sentence starters and veiwing sentences like train cars has been the biggest help to me. Paul's "tangents"during class are what I consider to be value added. Always useful. 2) What I like best about the site is that it is well organized, easy to find subjects. I find I can learn by listening, reading or writing depending on what I want to focus on. The recent addition of the Stories is fantasic. Highly entertaining and Paul's breakdown of the vocabulary afterwards is fun and has lots of excellent information. The site is very flexible, I can taylor it to whatever my level is or whatever subject I want to study. It truly has something for everyone. Even live classes, which is not yet for me but if it is for you, you will be able to converse live with a teacher and students. I would highly recommend the Qroo Spanish Crew.

Paul has created something very unique. A effective learning community where it is safe to communicate, experiment and make mistakes. Fun!

This has been a fantastic addition to my other Spanish learnings. I appreciate the straightforward nature and the short videos that I can sneak in throughout the day. I highly recommend the Qroo Spanish Crew!

Great resource for Spanish learning. I like having everything consolidated in one site. It makes it easier to find exactly what I want to practice. I also really like the stories available for listening and breakdown of the sentences after listening. The first story was a bit long but I found the others very interesting and understandable. Perhaps it is my level of Spanish. I highly recommend this site.

Thanks for all your work. I have already recommended your videos to other. I use many tools to try to get ready for life abroad, but you have found your methodology and the Qroo community to be one my go to methods of learning the language.
