I had the absolute best experience working with Amelia. I have been progressively advancing in my career and have not needed a professional résumé in quite some time. At first I was hesitant about the price but it was worth every penny! Francesca was creative, thorough, engaging and a great collaborator. She inserted key words that I would have never thought of and made the experience smooth and easy. She was always on time with deadlines for rewrites and gave great feedback. Also, my education did meet the requirements for many of the jobs I was pursuing. Resumespice is worth every cent.

I waited 6 weeks from the date my final resume was sent to me to write this review. After 11 years working for a small business as the General Manager, I made a tough decision to resign so I could move to closer to my aging parents. I moved from Silicoln Valley to a small city. I updated my resume and hadn't really put alot into my LinkedIn profile, hadn't needed to uo till now. I knew I wanted to focus on the HR part of my job as I had 11 years experience running payroll and hr soecialist duties, as well as running the business and managing 65 employees. I applied for 20 positions with my resume my copywrite friend and I worked on. I didnt get 1 call, ir email or response. My friends suggested hiring a resume writing company because the hiring landscape has changed. Many companies post on job boards that search for specific keywords in resumes from candidates. Reminded me of when I got out of a ltr and was single back in 2010 when dating apps popped up...same thing happened to applying for jobs. Everything is automated and need to create accounts in AFP portals, or jib boards. Gone are the days of searching Craigslist, or emailg a resume. After doing quite a bit of research on resume writing services, I decided to go with Resumespice. They were not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive, but I trusted the reviews. I opted for the career change with LinkedIn package. I was impressed from the start, because the account creation already started putting my doubts at rest. I had a few jobs I found that I wanted to apply and one of the sections on their site was if I had any positions I wanted to apply for and an area to put the job link in. A week later I received my call from my assigned writter, Kathy Hubler. We spent a little over an hour talking about my work history. 1st question she asked was why I chose the service. My reason was that I didn't feel my resume articulated my skills at my last job. As a general manager in a hair salon i felt my resume just read hair salon. I wanted to focus my career search in the hr realm. After hearing all I did, she told me how excited she was to get to work and put my resume together. She told me I had to do some networking on LinkedIn, and explained how to do it. Kathy gave me a goal of increasing my Linkedin followers daily while she worked on my resume. A few days later I got my 1st draft and it was amazing! It was so good that I questioned my abilities! I shared my journey with my younger brother who just got his MBA. He told me I wasted my money because he could have done it for me for free. I tried explaining how the job boards all use algorithms and key words now, but he just didn't get it. One of the things I read about these resume writing companies were the inability to make edits, or that the resume templates were dayed. Happy to say not the case with Resumespice. Ypu can do a few edits, and I really only wanted 1 that was something I forgot to mention to Kathy. After I reviewed the edit, i approved my resume. I got the final word and pdf a few days later with a great tips sheet on applying for jobs. Next was the Linked In profile piece I paid for. They created my LinkedIn summary to match my resume. I got an email with my LinkedIn profile. Another opportunity for edits and then the final emailed to me with detailed instructions on how to make the updates in LinkedIn. They don't do they physical work, you have to. But it is really easy to do it as you just cut and paste using the doc they give you. I updated LinkedIn, Indeed, and my Glassdoor accounts and started applying. Within a week, I had a recruited contact me about a position, and had 3 interviews from submissions I did on indeed. I had 2 companies wanting to hire me, and found my dream job! Couldn't be happier. As far as my little brother goes...when he saw my final resume, and my Ondeed account, he asked me for Resumespice info and hired them too! This time I purchased the cover letter service (second time) + Professional Bio + LinkedIn. No regrets. I am so happy to have had a competent professional help me with crafting the language based on what I wanted to express about myself. The burden was alleviated concerning my mental energy that I usually expend on these types of tasks and I am so glad I was able to afford the assistance.

Sorry this review has waited for so long but I still looked for the email and am submitting this review because I absolutely want to recommend ResumeSpice for anyone out there looking for resuming writing service. They are more pricey than other resume writing services - yes they are - but if you want to be able to find work within half a month like me you’ve got to use them. We spent time researching different resume writing services, one of the very “popular” and “well reviewed” option that would appear at the top ones on Google search showed up and as we tried to save our information, that company with their unclear procedures, charged our card and without starting or giving any services, told us that regardless of whether it was a mistake or not they will not refund us.
