I have been in multiple risk management courses (and taught a couple). I liked the way this was definition based a great deal. It helped keep each important bit straight while still covering everything.

1. Before this training, the only method I used for risk management was FMEA. While FMEA is useful, I found it limiting in fully capturing the scope of potential risks, particularly when dealing with complex systems . Understanding how to integrate other risk management tools and techniques beyond FMEA, and aligning them with regulatory standards, was a significant challenge. 2. What I liked most about this training was the detailed explanation of the ISO 14971:2019 standard. Unlike other courses, this training provided an in-depth understanding of the standard's requirements, which helped me grasp how to implement risk management processes effectively. The clarity and depth of the content made it much easier to see how each component fits into the broader risk management framework. 3.I feel quite confident in applying this new knowledge in my current role. The training has given me practical tools and insights that I can directly apply when developing risk management plans and documentation. This makes me feel prepared to ensure compliance and improve our overall risk assessment process.

Prior to the Achieve ISO 14971 training program, I was challenged with how to transition from an FMEA-based risk assessment process to one that was compliant with ISO 14971:2019. What I most liked about this program was that it thoroughly and systematically helped me to address this challenge. But there was so much more, in addition to this element, that I gained from the training. We discussed in depth many additional and fundamentally important aspects of the overall risk management process that are critical to establishing compliance. With this training, I was successfully able to update the risk management SOP and associated risk management file documents for an early-stage medical device start-up client.

I was very pleased with the risk management training. I have extensive experience in the industry and with risk management and was still able to learn and improve my risk management file. The subject matter is very helpful in applying all the principles of ISO 14971:2019.

This course not only simplifies ISO 14971 into easy to understand concepts, it provides countless examples of how to apply the concepts to real life situations. Naveen spends time in each session for students to ask specific questions to deepen understanding. Naveen creates a safe space so students feel safe to ask questions about their specific struggles. This aspect provided the most learning for me. because I better understood how to apply risk principles specific to my organization but I also learned from others on how different organizations apply risk. This course was very informative and packed with applicable Risk Management material especially related medical device industry. Naveen presented the material in bite size chunks and the quizzes at the end of each module were put in place to test the knowledge learned in each module. I feel very confident that I will be able to apply this knowledge in my day to day work.

With minimal experience working with risk management processes, It was challenging to perform effective risk management, while only relying on an organizations procedures. The content and language of the course used is really good and easy to understand. All important points, tips and recent industry practices related to Risk Management are explained with their advantages and limitations.
