I am a 4th year medical student applying to ophthalmology residency programs this year and Ruby has been an incredible mentor. She has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions, providing tangible advice and helping me showcase myself in the best light possible on my application. I would definitely recommend her services to any student looking for a mentor as she is personable, helpful, and genuinely interested in helping others achieve their goals.

As a medical student from a different healthcare system, I initially found the world of Ophthalmology daunting and seemingly inaccessible. However, my perspective changed significantly after meeting Dr. Ruby. Seeking her guidance, I was amazed by her support during our first meeting itself. My first interaction with Ruby was reaching out to her on Ig about YMDC, and I was genuinely surprised about how fast she answered and how much insight she provided. I also had a brief Zoom meeting with her to talk about applying Ophthalmology. It's refreshing to hear her speak so candidly about her experience. You can clearly tell how generous and willing to help she is. One of the most helpful conversations I've had with people who have matched into ophthalmology!

Dr. Ruby took the time to thoroughly review my credentials and helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, she provided me with a list of international graduate-friendly programs. She followed up with a detailed email outlining all the necessary steps. I cannot thank her enough.
