I got to know about Sofian through a course “Managing with Empathy” at CSC. I enjoyed the course as he does not just teach about theories but also gives us the opportunity to apply it through role play and pushing us to think deeper into the theories and real life scenarios. Appreciate it.

I've been following Abu Sofian's insightful social media content for some time, and when I found myself in a new workplace environment, I decided to engage him as my coach. His coaching stood out because of his patient and clear communication style, and his ability to truly listen and uncover the underlying factors behind my challenges. Through methods like the "10 Persuasive Proofs," he provided strategies tailored to my needs, helping me develop a clearer thought process and improve my communication skills. One of the most valuable lessons I learned from him was the importance of self-reflection—viewing myself from a distance to better understand and refine my actions. His guidance has had a lasting impact on both my personal and professional life, enabling me to tackle challenges with clarity and confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend Abu Sofian to anyone seeking to enhance their communication skills, build strategic life plans, or navigate through new challenges with a focused mindset. Working with him was a truly transformative experience.

I've been a repeat client of Sofian. Back from Goldmine in You programme, and then to 1 -1 coaching for a year (Ocr 23- Oct 24). This should be a testament enough that I believe in the work that Sofian does and I truly believe in the power of coaching. I have seen improvements in how I deal with things (even emotions) through communication and also breaking down thoughts through frameworks he has provided. I like the fact that the 1-1 coaching was dynamic and fluid and we could address things that was relevant to me in that moment in time. Sofian's neutrality, honesty, finesse and structured guidance has provided me the tools I need to improve in different aspects of my life including my business. For that I am grateful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.

Sofian listened to my sharing with intent and that's very important to me. His questioning techniques allowed me to discover who I really am. This helped me view issues in many different perspectives and teaches me how to approach things in a practical and positive light. Without his coachings, I'd still be in my bubble and not improve certain things in my life and business. Truly appreciate the push and the thought process works. I will recommend anyone who somehow finds themselves in a cycle of doing the same things and also people looking to grow in every aspect of their lives.

I think he is very confident and gave many examples and activities for us so that we can practice and understand how to speak better. He is also very patient and friendly. When we answer his questions, he does not say that our answers are wrong, but more of building up and understanding our answers. I would recommend this programme to my friends so that they can improve in their communication skills as well.

The talk was fun and engaging and the speaker was clear and knew what he was doing. I learnt alot today and have key takeaways from this talk. The way the speaker talks is clear and confident. He is also very bright so even though I was tired I managed to not get bored. I'd recommend it to those who don't really know how to project and present or interact with people in general and want to improve on there skills

i think that Mr Sofian did an amazing job and he really proved himself to be an awesome communicator. the workshop was very engaging and he tried his very best to make it interesting for us polytechnic students. he shared valuable information that i will definitely use for my CCA. However, I noticed that he didn't have much time to go though all the things that he prepared and one thing i was really looking forward to was how to deal with angry people as i may come across some angry parents and not very sure how to respond to them.

I believe this programme was really useful to me. As someone who is challenged with social anxiety, I find public speaking a huge obstacle that I have yet to overcome. Through Abu Sofian's programme it not only made me realize what I am lacking in, but it also gave me the motivation and a sense of direction as to how I can be more courageous and to portray myself as a confident speaker.

Abu Sofian was an engaging and knowledgeable speaker, he taught us useful tips we can use for public speaking or just daily communication with people we don’t know. I liked how he let us carry out activities to keep us engaged, it was a chance to bond with people we are not close with, at the same time we get to apply what we learnt immediately. I will recommend this workshop to people who are in charge of outreach programs be it in terms of academic or CCAs as this will let them know how to properly persuade people to join their clubs.

Abu Sofian is very eloquent when it comes to speaking. His message comes across in a very straight forward and easy to understand manner. His deep understanding in the art of communication has made me realize my flaws and what I can work on to better my skills. I would recommend this programme to anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of what communication really is and for an eye opening was of perceiving communication.

I found Sofian to be very engaging during the Effective Communications Workshop for LSCT Student Leaders. His approach which included lots of question and answer, group work and discussions across the whole class helped to enhance my learning process and help me understand the point he was trying to make. Sofian knew how to make the programme both interesting and meaningful, especially in the context for students and our interests. He was upfront but respectful, and could cater to the needs of all the participants here without judgement. I would 100% recommend his workshop to any upcoming (student) leader, especially those involved in speaking to large crowds. It was a great experience :)

i learnt numerous skills from the workshop, such as to have empathy towards the customer, the 7Cs (content, context, crowd, comprehension, clarity, craft & charisma), the doubts someone can have while speaking, how to deal with questions, and how my volume affects the meaning of my words. in addition, the numerous activities was very engaging, and his delivery got his ponts across very well.

Sofian knows what he is talking about. He shares his experiences and always gives analogies or examples when he is sharing a new point, idea, or skill. He is friendly and I feel comfortable and captivated by his presence. He has excellent volume and audience interaction. I have learned the importance on self-reflection and having empathy as these two can be applied to everyday life instead of public speaking. I would recommend this programme to my friends who are aspiring to be student leaders or anything that requires public speaking as many valuable lessons can be taught in a short period of time.

I'm a Year 1 student in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and I'm a part of the LSCT Operatives CCA. This session was such an unexpected surprise. When I first heard that we had to go to school from 10am-4pm on a Saturday, I was quite unwilling to turn up. However, Sofian's engaging demeanor and his valuable content really shone light on my weak and strong points of communication. He showed me how important empathy is and how to apply it in our communications, and also taught us methods and ways to improve our communication and public speaking. He did this effectively through hands-on activites which was super engaging. I would like to commend and thank Sofian deeply for this experience and would easily give this session a 5/5!

Personally I felt that this programme was a very enriching one where the coach himself was very engaging and informative where it was filled with many engaging segments to really engage the audience. As a student myself, I felt that this workshop really helped me learn about the flaws in my communication skills and how to improve them. Not only that, it has also introduced to me the idea of how different people from different walks of life have varying experiences and what you see they portray may be an accumulation of all the things that they have experienced throughout the day. Finally, I would definitely recommend this for workshop to everyone

Abu Sofian displayed confidence in his delivery. This can be clearly seen when he gave examples of his previous work experience which i could easily relate. His class activities are good and interactive which i enjoyed very much. He has definitely made a big difference and the one key takeaway from his lesson is PREP( Point, Repeat, Example Point) I will definitely recommend this course to all civil service officers to attend as it will be beneficial for their daily work. Thank you Abu Sofian.

I enjoyed Sofian's coaching style in relation to subject "empathy". The course was explained in detailed with several role plays which allow us to understand more in depth of what potential issues that we could faced and how to manage difficult complainants by exercising rules of empathy. I’ve been following Sofian on his social media for a while. During the Train The Freelancers course was the first time I sat in his training. It was way better than what I saw online. He can pin point where we are struggling and have the tools and methods to overcome those struggles. If freelancer, business owner has some doubts or want to be more more confident doing sales without being salesy, Sofian is the guy to talk to. Highly recommended.

I learnt about sales from Sofian in Train The Freelancers programme. He is very strategic in providing us helpful and relevant frameworks like how to do a discovery call. I felt completely lost how to talk to and handle clients in the past and this helps a lot. There's a lot of hands on role play and feedback on the spot. Sofian really cares and is a reliable source of advice to help us where we are stuck. Thank you Sofian!

Abu Sofian was one of the Train The Freelancers coach. For 4 weeks, he taught sales. I’ve learned plenty from our session. His teachings were largely based on his experience which inspires us to do better. He also acknowledged most of our questions in class. I’d recommend others who would love to improve in sales to go on a session with him.

Abu Sofian packed an incredibly insightful 3-hour workshop on “How to speak so people choose you”. He was engaging and knowledgeable, creating an interactive environment that encouraged active participation. The use of real-life examples and role-playing made the concepts easy to understand and apply. One of the most valuable aspects of the workshop was the emphasis on C.A.P.S.T.O.N.E. This approach not only enhances the persuasiveness of our communication but also fosters genuine connections and trust. Another highlight was the exploration of 10 Persuasive Proofs where Sofian delved into various methods to build credibility, connect emotionally with our audience, and present our ideas in a convincing manner that drives decision-making. I gained a deeper appreciation for the art of tailoring my message to resonate with specific individuals. Thank you for the fantastic blend of theory and practice which has significantly enhanced my communication and persuasion skills. May you continue to inspire and transform others.

Personally I feel that Sofian has been a great coach who listens well to our problems and then offer solutions that deem fit and well. Each session with him is refreshing and I will often have better clarity at the end of each session as it leads to me to finding out my next plan for my business. He is also a humble coach who listens to feedback and see how he can fine tune the session to one that benefits me better i.e. a more personalised session which i truly prefer and appreciate I will recommend this programme to someone who seeks clarity and re-identifying their purpose in the running of their business. And even if one is doing well, the programme will be beneficial for one to create that sustainability and consistency which is essential in the business world.

Abu achieved in one day what I've never seen accomplished in my 20 years in this industry. Together, we mapped out an organizational chart, created a sales flowchart, pinpointed key issues and vulnerabilities, and inspired us to explore new ideas and strategies for boosting our leads and sales. His insights and plans have propelled us beyond our daily challenges. Abu urged us to define our business on our terms, free from external definitions. I appreciate Abu's thorough and probing approach to uncovering the root causes of our issues. His positive energy, along with clear analysis and actionable suggestions, left a lasting impact. I wholeheartedly recommend Abu's mentorship to anyone considering it; our company has already reaped immense benefits from just one day of coaching to set our course

Definitely would recommend Sofian to fellow advisors to seek further clarity on how to improve their communication and delivery!
