During my time at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, I had the opportunity to work as a Judging Coordinator across a range of award categories. 

In my first few months, I focused on processing submissions and carrying out integrity checks to ensure entries met the required standards. As the festival approached, I was assigned to the Social & Creator Lions category, which was a particularly rewarding experience given my background in social media. 

Being able to observe and support the judging process, while listening to the insights and discussions of some of the industry's leading professionals, was an invaluable learning opportunity. I gained a deeper understanding of creative excellence while developing my coordination and operational skills in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Overall, it was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I discovered how much I enjoy working on the event operations side of the industry. 

From communicating with world-class industry professionals to managing live judging sessions for Young Lions, I found that I thrived in a coordination role. It confirmed my passion for this type of work, and I would love the opportunity to take on a similar role in the future.
