Today, I attended @shreyas' first workshop on Advanced Product Taste. It delivered. And at one point I couldn't stop laughing out of agreement with one of Shreyas' rants. A real lmao moment. You had to be there. He shared a new framework that I hope he shares publicly. (fyi, I'm a sucker for great fresh frameworks). maven.com/shreyas-doshi/taste
i'm less than 20% into @shreyas 's product taste course and it's already worth 100x what I paid for it, this is incredible stuff
I took Shreyas Doshi's one-day course on Taste today. For anyone in my network, I recommend you run, don’t walk, to the next session.
There are very few things that can change how you build products and the trajectory of your career in six hours. Learning from Shreyas can.
Shreyas’s ability to decompose how to build and how to make the right decisions is singular, and he is really fun to learn from.
If you are free on a Saturday, I hope you can take the next one.
Ping me if I can help answer any questions!
the only course you'll ever need on taste; essential for founders/builders in the AI age. it's the only course you'll need because once again, shreyas teaches principles not tactics.
i never post but this course is so life-changing that it's worth sharing, in case even one person can benefit as much as i have.

absolutely loved @shreyas' Product Taste workshop today! 6 hrs of breaking down the elusive concept of "Taste" into tactical ways of applying it in day-to-day product decisions, entertaining examples, and live exercises. 10/10 recommended :) maven.com/shreyas-doshi/taste
Grateful for the practical frameworks, sharp examples, and thought exercises on product taste from Shreyas Doshi's Maven course.
Six hours as a working mom was not easy to carve out, but it was absolutely well spent.
The course helped me think more clearly about what makes a product feel not just functional, but excellent: the details users notice, the tradeoffs teams make, and the judgment required to build something people truly value.
Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to strengthen their product intuition and decision-making:

Just finished a 6 hr class with Shreyas Doshi's advanced product taste course. Absolutely loved how he used AI as a thought partner in product taste + having exercises to get us practicing what you've learned right then and there. It's intense and a lot to still process but highly, highly recommend to senior level folks.
💡 A lot of product taste content covers very obvious "here is what the end result of taste should be" without helping people figure out how to develop product taste. Shreyas Doshi's Advanced Product Taste course is the only course or content I've seen that is actually designed to help people improve the skills that will lead to improving product taste.
Incredibly dense with a lot of breaking down of the key skills and how to continue to build them long after the class. Much of the content was not obvious, and I loved how so many of the skills build on each other and connect to each other. There are a lot of pieces I'm still processing and I will need to dedicate time to understanding. Also loved how he demonstrated how to use AI as a thought partner in taste. Also great exercises to get us practicing leveraging our existing model with the "harness" of taste principles. Tied with his Product Sense course for the most impactful course I've ever taken. Possibly more knowledge per piece of content than the Product Sense even.
Highly recommend this course for senior product leaders, especially in the era of AI.
Just finished @shreyas Advanced Product Taste Workshop and it was brilliant. We practiced all the techniques in class, for majority time, and was the most exciting part. As always the depth and logical deduction of the learnings from Shreyas is super insightful.
Shreyas Doshi thank you for doing this and helping people like me on our journey and path towards product excellence. Your Product Taste workshop was absolutely a great way to spend 6+ hrs on a Saturday to learn from the absolute best alongside some amazing founder and product leaders.

After a year, almost to the day, I find myself yet again in Shreyas Doshi's advanced workshop, learning what the majority of people think is unteachable. How can you learn taste?
Common wisdom will say taste is so subjective, so ephemeral, that most of the time you just want to say: it is what it is, you either have it or you don't. And, as with difficult things, this is our ego protecting us from the sad truth: you simply don't know what taste is.
The good news is that you can observe this, resist it, and look for answers (99% of people won't, congrats!). But the challenge is real. The main problem with your journey toward taste discovery is that there are no good answers out there! Don't take my word for it. Take a few seconds to pause and think back. What have you heard about taste? That Steve Jobs had it? That it's the thing that will protect you from AI taking your job? Have you learned something from it?
There's only one person I trust to deliver if they create a course on something difficult. Shreyas will walk you through impossible with intensity, clarity, honesty, and a good sprinkle of humor. You will never look at the world the same way again after "only" seven hours of listening and practicing. Link in the comments.
Shreyas Doshi's Advanced Product Taste — Worth Every Minute
This course rewired how I think about product decisions.
Three things I'm taking back to work immediately:
Taste is trainable. It's not a gift — it's a repeatable skill built through Critical Discernment and deliberate practice.
WAYRTTD changes everything. Two simple questions that cut through noise and get to what users actually need.
Principles before solutions. Stop jumping to answers. Start with why, and better decisions follow naturally.
Recently took part in @shreyas new workshop 'Advanced Product Taste'. Great follow-up to the first course I took about Product Sense. As always, lots of high quality input in a short amount of time. 10/10!
Spent 6 hrs training my brain in @shreyas’s new workshop - Advanced Product Taste. I’ll recommend it to all product builders in tech. Reading through his shared Claude chats alone is worth it. AI might be our best thinking partner, and this workshop will show you the why and how
absolutely loved @shreyas' workshop on taste today! the highlights for me were decomposing taste into its components, and seeing how much nuance there can be in seemingly simple & mundane product decisions
Just completed Shreyas Doshi's Product Taste workshop today.
The course builds on Shreyas's product sense course and shares skills you can immediately practice to improve your product judgment and product development skills.
Great balance of content and hands-on exercises, with plenty of opportunities to apply the concepts throughout the day.
Easily one of the best ways I've spent 6 hours on a Saturday. Thanks, Shreyas Doshi.
Just concluded @shreyas Advanced Product Taste workshop. I highly recommend this for all product builders. This is the absolute best resource for all who want to cultivate proper taste. What's also wild is how it applies to so much more than you realize.
Kept sneaking back into @shreyas's product taste course between meetings. Only caught 60% and it still reshaped how I think about taste. Take it.
Product Taste has been a vauge concept to me till now, but @shreyas breaks it down to its fundamental elements and effortlessly sets you up for improving it while going through everyday encounters in his Advanced Product Taste workshop
Loved the product taste workshop .. highly recommended ... maven.com/shreyas-doshi/taste?promoCode=MAVEN100
Attended @shreyas’ workshop on product taste. I have attended all his courses and this was the one which can be actioned immediately. Will definitely recommend it for product people.
The one and only Shreyas Doshi has done it again - his brand new "Advanced Product Taste" workshop (lnkd.in/grAZ6MyC) is filled with practical skills and knowledge that helps product builders level up their product taste. Six hours flew by and I feel clarity more than ever.
I highly recommend for those of us who are building products - work, side hustles, and founding - so we can build the right thing the right way.
I just had my best Sat morning of 2026 thanks to @shreyas !
Six hours of product taste training distilled into one takeaway Great product judgment isn’t magic. It’s trainable.
So glad I chose this session over the most boring champions league final.

Just finished @shreyas 's course on advanced product taste. Genuinely excellent. In the AI era, building is cheap and abundant - taste is what differentiates. This course shows how to make those calls with intent.

Just attended the Product Taste workshop by @shreyas. Mind blown on his different perspectives and on the techniques to evaluate "what good look like?" (that we hear a lot about but hardly anyone tells you how).
Just had another great workshop with @shreyas . Thoughtful conversations, great exercises and plenty of insights to take back and apply.
In an AI-powered future, honing the art of taste is increasingly table stakes for building the right thing in the right way. A Saturday morning well spent doing precisely that @shreyas' Advanced Product Taste course. I highly recommend!

Grateful to have been part of @shreyas's product taste framework. Well-decomposed and actionable — great for incrementally training your LLM.
@shreyas 's advanced product taste workshop as a product sense alum - Deeper, fundamental, and extremely practical
It vastly exceeded my already high expectations.
It also boggles my mind to see how he's also nailed it for people who haven't attended the product sense course.
Just coming out of @shreyas's Product Taste workshop, mind blown like every other time🤯 Highly encourage it for product folks who want to get to the truth of what Taste is and how to build it with intention.
Just completed Advanced product taste one day workshop from Shreyas - lnkd.in/dgrT2BZX
I have been a follower of Shreyas's content and courses for while and this workshop also was pretty intense and high leverage at same time. Loved the examples & exercises especially critical discernment framework and its applications. Haven't seen anybody else explain it like that. I also don't think the examples are surface level product teardowns & blind application of frameworks.
Loved and highly recommend Shreyas's Advanced Product Taste class - well spent time for a focused deep dive to demystify Taste and practice leveling up on insights and skills that would take most of us years much longer to realize and internalize on our own.

This weekend, I had the privilege to attend an Advanced workshop on Product taste by Shreyas Doshi. For folks who know me, they would remember that I am a huge fan of Shreyas, and keep sharing his writings and insights regularly with my team and peers. His writings are always profound and deeply insightful, that when the course came up, I had to signup to learn from him live.
The premise was pretty daunting, a 6 hr, intense workshop on Friday night, going on well past midnight. But that became one of the best late nights I have had in a while. The course material is amazing - practical, tangible, and usable in your work life immediately, no matter where you work. But more importantly, the distillation of Product taste, and building an acute sense of what good looks like , are learnings you could take with you in whatever you do.
I realized there are so many of those techniques I have seen the best leaders employ implicitly, but also that if you know what you are looking for, it becomes much easier to replicate.
Highly recommend the course , if you are a product leader, or working in building products.
Thanks to Shreyas and the team for an amazing experience.

Just finished course @shreyas ‘Advanced Product Taste’ is masterfully created to demystify taste with clear focus on skill-building. It blends elements of active listening, observation, and practical exercises. It’s pitched at the depth required to understand it and implement it in daily life. Highly recommend the course!
PS: claude chat breakdowns are supremely insightful 🔥
We rarely think about product taste in Aerospace & Defense. Modern-looking screens feel beside the point when the product has to work in the field, on a mission.
But taste isn't about pretty screens. It's the ability to discern what makes a product good, and articulate why, in the context of the outcome you're trying to achieve. In A&D that outcome is a mission accomplished.
This skill is more important than ever. Nowadays, anyone can generate a working prototype. Judgment about what's actually good is the differentiator.
Shreyas Doshi's product taste course is the sharpest treatment of this I've found. Worth it if you build products that deliver mission-critical outcomes ... or any product for that matter.

There's really no excuse now!
Unlike me, you don't have to strand your wife with two kids while you're spending the day with @shreyas!
I've now taken both of his courses, and not a week goes by — sometimes not a day — without me reflecting on them. I revisit the recordings every couple of weeks. Sometimes I'll listen to them while waiting for my son to fall asleep instead of podcasts.
In a world full of noise and peacocking, Shreyas brings real clarity on how to become a better product leader. I recommend either course to fellow founders who operate with a "don't be a full cup" mentality. shreyasdoshi.substack.com/p/dont-be-a-full-cup
If you're skeptical, start with Advanced Product Taste because it's shorter. BUT, don't be skeptical. Just go in with an open mind.
After taking @shreyas' product sense and taste workshops I've realized one of most unique things about them: he teaches a complete decomposition of the concepts. At the end of both he tells you: 'this is all there is.' There's no next framework. The breakdown is finite and it's up to you go as deep as you want on each item. All that's left is a lifetime of reps.
