Shreyas Doshi's World-Class Product Sense course
In December I completed the "Improving Your Product Sense" course led by Shreyas Doshi. I actually discovered the class from a friend's LinkedIn post just like this one. It felt great to be back in the "classroom" after so many years and the 8 days of pretty intensive learning and active participation was invigorating. The course challenged my product thinking and left me with the tools to (hopefully) make higher quality product decisions.
Check it out:
I just completed Shreyas Doshi course on ‘Improving Your Product Sense’ and it was an intense 🧠 learning week of 30+ hours. Grateful to be able to attend something so actionable!
He offers many practical and powerful techniques to improve the quality of your thinking. This wasn’t like any other course I have taken, but rather an interactive way to train your own brain to think better.
For PMs, founders or anyone in tech looking to improve your Product Sense or just looking to improve the quality of your thinking - here is a link to the course lnkd.in/emy9pzdZ
If you’re unsure or curious about this course, feel free to reach out and I’m happy to share my experience.
I completed Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course earlier this year, and it's transformed not just my approach to Product Management, but my overall decision-making process. Having transitioned into tech a few years ago from health tech, I found this course offered unique insights that filled crucial gaps in my product thinking – insights I hadn't discovered anywhere else in my journey.
What sets this course apart is its focus on practical wisdom rather than rigid frameworks. Through interactive sessions, I developed stronger analytical muscles for evaluating product decisions and learned to think more proactively about user needs. While the impact might seem subtle on paper, the shift in my problem-solving approach has been profound.
Thank you, Shreyas Doshi, for crafting such an impactful learning experience and for your generous engagement during the AMAs. Your course has given me a clearer lens through which to view both product challenges and everyday decisions. 🚀
This weekend, I completed Shreyas Doshi’s Improving Your Product Sense course, and it fundamentally changed how I think about my work—not something that happens very often.
Over an intense but enjoyable eight days, Shreyas took me and my peers on a journey that delivered tremendous wisdom and clarity about what truly drives product success in the market.
One of my biggest takeaways: most of our industry “best practices” are in fact terrible at providing thoughtful and decisive product leadership. Instead, brilliantly clear product strategy comes from first principles and clear thinking—skills we can all develop, if we choose to.
If you lead product development teams—regardless of your EPD discipline—I highly recommend this course. It’s a rare opportunity to improve how you think, and not just what you do.
Just completed Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course on Maven, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best—if not the best—courses I’ve ever taken.
It’s packed with invaluable insights, not just on Product Sense, but on Strategy and Creativity.
The sessions were intense, thought-provoking, and delivered with humour!
Highly recommend this course to anyone building Products. 💪
Last week, I took a course on Product sense and I learned more about things I really care about.
It changed my perspectives on why a user takes an action.
It changed how I use and build strategy and vision.
It changed how I factor user emotions.
It changed my creativity mode.
It changed my lens.

PS: this is NOT a paid promo/partnership
Couple of weeks ago, I had one of the most insightful and rewarding experiences attending Shreyas Doshi ’s "Improving Product Sense" course.
TL;DR: If you're a seasoned product leader striving to be in the top 1% of your craft and have the time for just one course, this is the one.
Why?
Having founded and scaled three product-driven companies in healthcare, navigating the 0→1 and 1→10 journeys multiple times, product sense has long been second nature to me. So when Miqdad Jaffer—another exceptional AI PM instructor—highly recommended just one course out of the hundreds on Maven, I was skeptical. Would I really gain anything new?
But then, I spoke with 10+ alumni—all of whom went out of their way to share their experiences, understand my journey, and still insist that I must attend. Their conviction made me rethink.
I'm so glad I did.
Shreyas embodies the wisdom and clarity of Yoda—profound, caring, and, most importantly, no BS. His ability to cut through years of accumulated mental clutter is nothing short of remarkable.
Who should attend?
* If you're in the top 25% of product professionals but aspire to reach the top 5%, this course is for you.
* If you're a VC or product-focused investor looking to coach your portfolio companies on the right product foundations, this is a must.
* If you're a founder, regardless of your PM background, this will help you refine your intuition, strengthen conviction, and execute with clarity.
-ps there were many founders like me (with multiple 100M+ exits)
While some of the content isn’t directly about tech-product management, it provides frameworks that fundamentally change how you think and act.
If you're considering it and have questions, DM me—happy to pay it forward, just as 10+ others did for me.

I was privileged to participate in the Shreyas Doshi—Improving Your Product Sense course. I attended with Akshay Dodeja, Terminal49's founder, and we spent all last week implementing what we had learned.
This course offers a transformative perspective to help you make better-quality product decisions and winning choices. The course superstar was our brain and past experiences, feeding qualitative and well-digested information and unlearning things that aren't relevant anymore.
It was refreshing to hear Shreyas go back to basics and dive deep into a topic, reminding us to observe in detail and be prepared to call out nonsense on anything that will deter us from achieving our goal—win.
Also, he was the first PM at Stripe and offered several anecdotes to support his arguments.
The course was an intense, well-packed week. You have access to the recordings, which is great since I'll probably rewatch some sessions several times until they synch in.
If you are a PM, a founder, an Engineering lead, a Product lead, or a Product designer with senior and above-level experience and you are looking for a course to enhance your experience, this is a great one to consider.
I made some new contacts on the Slack channel. Our cohort was friendly, international, and full of fascinating people and backgrounds.
I hope Shreyas gets to plan a yearly reunion!
Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course
“That’s total nonsense!” - Shreyas Doshi doesn‘t hesitate to challenge common product wisdom.
In his 5-part Product Sense course, he challenges students to question textbook answers, trust their intuition and embrace creative problem-solving.
It was a privilege to learn alongside a high-caliber cohort from around the world, diving deep into motivation, creativity, and the art of product sense.
Thanks Shreyas Doshi for developing such a thoughtful course -- and teaching it so intentionally with passion. The insights and learnings from the 30+ hours of this course have been inspiring in ways that I could not have imagined and I look forward to applying it thoughtfully. I appreciate how it has improved my self-awareness.
For all leaders who deeply care about the products they build, I highly recommend this course -- it'll be high quality ROI for your time! Expect to be delighted :)

🚀 Just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi Product Sense course, and it’s been one of the most insightful deep dives into product thinking I’ve taken.
As an engineering leader, it’s easy to get caught up in execution—optimizing systems, scaling architectures, and shipping features. But what truly moves the needle is building the right things. This course reinforced that great product sense is a muscle that engineers, designers, and leaders should actively develop.
If you’re in tech—especially if you’re an engineer looking to build stronger product instincts—I highly recommend checking it out. 💡

I almost never post on LinkedIn but this one’s worth it. Just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi’s Product Sense course and honestly it’s one of the most intense, insightful, and thought-provoking courses I’ve ever taken on digital products. Highly recommend.
What makes it different? It’s all about building real skills not just memorizing another framework or template. The focus is on critical thinking, which means it’s challenging - you’ll probably hit some uncomfortable realizations along the way. But if you push through the rewards are huge.
Think you’ve got product strategy, motivation theory, positioning, and differentiation all figured out? Think again.

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certifications: Product Creativity, Product Strategy and Customer Empanthy - Product Sense from Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course!
Just wrapped up the 30+ hour course, “Improving Your Product Sense” by Shreyas Doshi last weekend, and it was intense!
Shreyas did an incredible job breaking down key concepts and actionable tactics that directly impact product decision-making and strategy. The course is packed with no-fluff, practical insights.
What stood out most were the bite-sized exercises and impromptu questions from Shreyas that helped unlock product sense throughout the course. His approach made the learning experience interactive and deeply engaging.
A huge thank you to Shreyas for sharing valuable reading materials and references, which will help me continue growing my product management skills.
I’m excited to reframe, reenergize, and take my passion for product management to the next level. Humbled and highly recommend this course to anyone looking to sharpen their product instincts!
I treated myself to Shreyas Doshi’s product sense course last week. It had been long since I last sat in a course or experienced a version of cohort learning other than NovoEd’s.
I highly recommend this course to every current or aspiring founder.
There’s a lot of bad advice on strategy and vision out there - save yourself lots of lost opportunity by diving into the truly transformative way that Shreyas breaks down components of product sense. I enjoy the new lenses and tools he’s given me. It was good to be back in class!!
After a busy couple of years heads-down executing, I took my mind to a solid product workout - Thanks to Shreyas Doshi.
His Product Sense course is so rich and intense that it challenges you to re-evaluate the lens through which you build products. For me, it felt like I went through a much-needed session of product therapy!
This course isn’t for those looking for templates or quick wins—it demands leaving your ego at the door and being open to learning in its truest sense.
If you are in product - Highly recommend this course. Get ready to hear a lot of Shreyas’ signature line - 'I want you to WIN.'
I've recently completed 8 days of the course "Improving your Product Sense", and hands down, it's the best course I've attended on product management.
The focus of the course has not been about learning new frameworks, but rather to think more clearly. In fact, the course has repeatedly demonstrated how much of the product management advice is quite misleading.
So, have I "improved" my product sense? It's probably too soon to say. But then others at work are telling me that my questions have become far more thought-provoking.
Shreyas Doshi's course - Improving Your Product Sense - is appropriately hyped.
I got exactly what I signed up for, which in turn was exactly what the course promised. Seriously, go check it out on Maven if you haven’t already.
The course is NOT for folks very new to building products, or those who believe they already know all there is to know about building successful products ;) But approached with an open mind, there are very many things to ponder, wonder, and learn from this compact delight - especially the interplay of both macro and micro decisions on product success.
Most usefully, the course espouses approaching product work with not feel-good-processes, but get-it-right-creativity. And shows a terrific way forward.
Intense, illuminating, and just gobsmackingly awesome - you will enjoy almost every moment if you love product work ✨
-----
Bonus: If you have a background in tech and/or marketing before PMing, it will connect dots you may’ve been looking to connect. Think biz strategy vs brand strategy vs product strategy.
Bonus 2: If you’re based out of India/similar time zones, the night-to-dawn sessions might induce unexpected fuzzy nostalgia for college all nighters of distant past.
Best practices' aren't always best—this is just one of many eye-opening insights from Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course, which I just completed last week. During the course Shreyas Doshi spent approx 30+ hours with the cohort - the course goes beyond conventional wisdom to reveal what truly drives product success: clear thinking and first principles. What makes this experience unique is how it develops your thinking capabilities, not just your knowledge base. It's rare to find learning that changes not just what you know, but how you think -- only if you want to!
If you're in product and want to fundamentally upgrade your product sense, this course is a must, trust me you will not regret it even for a second.
I am super thankful 🙏 to Wrike for backing my professional journey and making this transformative experience possible. 💚
tldr: if our profession had a magnum opus, Shreyas Doshi's product sense course is it.
ever wondered how some people have a “gift” and consistently make correct product decisions without perfect information? that’s what shreyas teaches in his product sense course - if are willing to put in the work (and set aside your ego).
shreyas basically read all the best strategy, research and psychology books in the world and compressed them to their essence, and wrote completely original material on topics that have no good advice out there.
the reviews online seem a bit mysterious since folks don’t share the insights they’ve heard, but so much nuance that can get lost so we refrain from it. if you really need the social proof, consider the fancy resumes of all the folks raving about it, including many well known founders.
the course was clearly a labor of love. he draws inspiration from a diverse range of sources, ranging from motivation theory to michael porter; and from computer games all the way to pizza.
i hesitated to attend, worried i wouldn’t be able to devote full attention from work, then realized the time will feel right. this turned out to be somewhat true and i do wish i proactively blocked more of my week to process and rewatch the material. it’s that dense and that good. it's a pinned tab in my browser and i've already gone back to it several times this week.
if you’re serious about the craft, make this a priority in 2025. if our profession had a magnum opus, this is it.
Had an amazing learning experience doing the Product Sense course by Shreyas Doshi...
Feels like I can almost see/understand the world much more clearly - at the micro level - a bit like Ant-Man 🙂
And many more things to learn - aka train our LLM - from cognitive empathy to creativity to product taste.. All very very useful and applicable for founders / product folks..
Spent last week learning from Shreyas Doshi in Improving your Product Sense. This course is a training on how to think clearly. If you’re involved in building a software product and want to make better product decisions, I highly recommend this course. It was one of the best courses I have ever taken!
Just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course, and it was incredible! 🚀 His ability to decompose what great product thinkers do instinctively—and then teach it in a way that is both practical and actionable—is what makes this course so valuable. Highly recommend it to any product leader looking to sharpen their product sense skills further
🚀 Just finished Shreyas Doshi's Improving Your Product Sense course. I'm still processing how much I learned in just a week.
I highly recommend the course to anyone who wants to get better at making product decisions. Shreyas keeps it real—he's honest, funny, and straight to the point. He doesn't hand you shortcuts or frameworks but instead shares practical ways to sharpen your instincts.
Learning alongside a group of like-minded people from all over the world was also a great bonus.
Happy to share that I’ve completed Shreyas Doshi’s incredible Product sense course!
The course itself was a great amalgamation of how to make the best micro and macro decisions for your product.
Would definitely recommend this course irrespective of whether you’re a PM or a designer 🙂 Excited to apply my learnings to upcoming projects 🚀

Spent last week learning from Shreyas Doshi in Improving your Product Sense. Zero frameworks, zero shortcuts - just validation that your product intuition isn't crazy. You know products should and can be built better. Best of all, you'll finally have a real plan to improve your product sense. Highly recommend.
I recently completed Shreyas Doshi's "Improving your Product Sense" course and was thoroughly impressed by its engaging and innovative approach. The curriculum has an extremely high signal-to-noise ratio, offering fresh perspectives and novel ways of thinking that challenged my existing paradigms on building products.
As a voracious product learner, I have explored a lot of formats, course types, and content, and the one constant in these has been remaining enthusiastic about the material. I faced no such struggles in Shreyas' course as his enthusiasm about the subject, engaging content, and immersive style of teaching made me keep coming back every day - eager to learn, apply my learnings and, in some cases, un-learnings at work.
Overall, if you're looking to sharpen your skills in Product Thinking, I highly recommend this course.
I just wrapped up the week-long interactive Product Sense course by Shreyas Doshi.
This is the most in-depth, intense, and engaging course I have encountered. I had been searching for resources that would help me understand Product Sense from the perspective of a great product manager and imbibe their thinking/ideology. This course over-delivered on that front.
Shreyas shattered many misconceptions about Product Sense and Product Strategy and provided deep insights and frameworks that enable you to enhance your product sense.
This is one of the best investments I have made in myself. I strongly recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their Product Sense, understand the thought process of those who build great products, and learn how to develop that mindset.
Here is a link for the upcoming cohorts if you are interested. -
I recently completed an intensive eight-day product sense course taught by Shreyas Doshi, involving over 30 hours of deep learning. The density and quality of insights make it stand out as the most impactful course I've experienced.
The course's true value lies in its focus on decision-making excellence. It explores the intricacies of human cognition, motivation, and influence, while teaching how to frame questions effectively, envision potential outcomes, and understand the cascading impacts of product decisions.
The investment was incredibly worthwhile, and I whole-heartedly endorse this course for anyone in the product development sphere—from product managers to designers and engineers. Its teachings transcend traditional role boundaries and offer value across the entire product development ecosystem.
I just wrapped up the Improving Your Product Sense course by Shreyas Doshi. If any of his writings or videos have resonated with you, this is the course for you.
After a decade in Product Management I was pleasantly surprised by how many genuinely novel concepts and techniques he’s managed to pack in this 8-day course. It’s a live, cohort-based program and Shreyas’ high level of enthusiasm and energy is infectious.
It’s packed with insightful ways of approaching the most fundamental aspects of building successful products - the right way of crafting a winning strategy, understanding the motivations of your customers and even an approachable way to become demonstrably more creative. The best part - he’ll coach you to get there using the power of your own clear thinking.
For anyone in Product looking to sharpen their skills, I would highly recommend this!
Panda has found his Shifu.

He doesn’t just teach—he plants a seed. It takes root, grows, and becomes something you cherish for a lifetime.
This is the most intense, high-density content per second—yet so effortlessly digestible that your brain instantly levels up 100x.
Every slide is an AHA moment, but the one that shattered all expectations?
Learning creativity (and there’s tons of more)
A must-take course for any Founder or Senior Product Leader who wants to master the craft of building products—and WIN.
Shreyas Doshi
I know it’s not usually my style, but gotta hype maybe (probably?) the best product course I’ve ever taken.
As a lifetime student, I love taking classes and going back to ‘school.’ I’ve sought out tons of courses, articles, and books on Product Management, and though I’ve discovered a lot of great things along the way, I’ve mostly found that it’s extremely hard to ‘teach’ product skills and improve through class work alone.
Shreyas Doshi’s course was different from any other I’ve taken - it was interactive and engaging and as close to immersion as you can get for PM, my favorite style of learning. Over the last 8 days, I’ve been in “goblin mode” - spending 2-6 hours each day learning and thinking about product sense in a new way and diving deep in real world examples.
Shreyas lives and breathes product, and brings incredible energy to every session, keeping me and the class coming back day after day – I looked forward to every session and would walk away each day inspired and eager to immediately apply what I had learned. On top of all this, the community we’ve created in our cohort is world class and I love how obsessed all these folks are with product!
After feeling ‘stuck’ for so long, I now feel equipped with the knowledge and skills to deepen my product craft and win. Can’t wait to apply all of this in 2025 and beyond!
How to get better at product? Work on the equanimity of your observation skill and the quality of your thinking. I had the pleasure to join Shreyas Doshi’s Product Sense course this past week—it aims exactly at that by helping you think more clearly, rather than just teaching another framework.
In my product roles, I often struggled to connect the different concepts I picked up along the way—from strategy and vision to how best to run experiments and make micro-decisions. Shreyas presents the underlying principles that tie all these areas together.
If you have a few years of experience in product roles but (a) still struggle to find direction and figure out which concepts are worth assimilating, or (b) have already incorporated lots of ideas but don’t see how they connect—or which to let go of—there’s a high chance you’ll find this valuable. A bonus is that it puts everyday frustrations in the context of human psychology and behaviour, while staying practical.
🤯 All I can say is wow, I didn't realize how little I knew about building products!
Just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course 🎉 and it reshaped a lot of how I think about building great products.
As a data leader, I have very often approached building products from an analytical perspective. How do we measure core value we are delivering to users? How do we measure our efforts to increase that value? (e.g. Amplitude Northstar framework, metric trees, etc) But a lot of building products requires creativity too!
Shreyas gave a no BS course. Several examples of dysfunction had me going "that exact situation happened to me". It was clear to see why organizations struggle to build great products, and how to approach it differently -- even though it's not easy (if it were, everyone would do it)!
I've always considered myself a product-minded engineer/data person, but I feel like I've reached another level of understanding now. Looking forward to being a better partner with my product counterparts to build amazing products in the future
Highly recommend the course!
P.S. A friend was shocked at the sticker price initially. But imagine how _little_ value Shreyas actually has to deliver to make that price worth it over the course of your career? This course delivered 10x what I paid in my honest opinion!
Product Sense by Shreyas Doshi was intense, gem packed and full of learnings and expertise. Never imagine me sitting for five six hours straight (with only one 3 minute break in between!!!) and stayed focus and engaged. This is truly a no-nonsense masterclass. Thanks heaps Shreyas, Nicole and team, and the Jan'25 Cohort! BIG🫶 to you all!

Hey, old dog 🙋♂️🐺 and Maven Mentor here reporting that you too can learn new tricks 🎲. I just finished Shreyas Doshi 's Maven course on "Product Sense". I'm a skeptical optimist and was really surprised with the quality of teaching, discourse, and applicable learnings even after building, launching, and growing products for a while. I even brought my team along and we all found new ways to grow, coach, and influence with our own reinforced product sense. Whether you're just starting your product career or growing the careers of other product leaders, Shreyas' patient thorough comprehensive deep nth order thinking will unlock new ways of thinking and better reinforce solid intuition paths. Wrapped up an amazing week with Shreyas Doshi on improving one's Product Sense lnkd.in/eagEBaa7!
Who's it best for (imo): Mid-career PMs and up
What you'll get: Vocabulary and mindset to facilitate skill building in cognitive empathy and creativity
What you'll feel: Clarity (I already feel some of and expect much more over time) and to use analogies,
Movies: Limitless + NZT-48
Sports: Steph + 'the game slowing down'
The exuberant praise of Shreyas Doshi's product sense course in LinkedIn posts made me skeptical. Is he paying people? Has he somehow brainwashed them? It just sounded too good to be true.
But I was also intrigued and curious. His posts and videos described extremely accurately the unhelpful, but common patterns I had also seen in big tech, down to individual sentences people would say. And his advice was typically sound. So could he create a truly unique course on product sense? Probably.
I’ve just had the opportunity to find out first hand. And now I understand the hype.
The course is truly novel and well worth the time spent. Don’t attend it if you are looking for frameworks and recipes. Attend it if you want to challenge your own thinking and invest the time to develop new skills. And don’t judge until you’ve at least completed the full first class.
The absolutely best course you can get there from Shreyas Doshi. It helps to understand influencing up and down, managing career like a product and beyond. I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Managing your PM Career in 2025 and beyond from Maven!
I have followed Shreyas Doshi for years to improve my awareness of best-in-class product craft. Today, I just wrapped up his Product Sense course.
If you are looking to get more signal out of the product content you see online, I would recommend giving Shreyas a follow on LinkedIn or X/twitter.
If you are an experienced tech professional looking for a new lens or a way to level up your skill set as you advance, I would recommend his course.
What a fantastic week learning with and from driven product/design/tech folks from around the world! 🌎 🌍
The hype is real with Shreyas Doshi's product sense course. If you've seen it and have put in the "might be PM influencer garbage" inbox, take a deeper look. If this course has done anything for me, it helped identify most of the org/product garbage that clogs quality thinking.
Just wrapped up @shreyas 'Product Sense course, and it truly delivers. More than just a product course—it reshapes how you think, challenge assumptions, and make decisions. Deeply insightful, practical, and unlike anything else out there. Highly recommend!
Had the opportunity to attend the Product Sense course by @shreyas . It exposes popular myths, and refocuses his students on first principles. His deep dive on motivation theory, and the creative process behind product strategy were highlights. Highly recommend attending it!
Just finished @shreyas Product Sense course. It’s excellent.
In a world obsessed with templates, frameworks, and tools, it’s easy to forget that real product thinking isn’t about plug-and-play answers.
This course doesn’t just give you a playbook—it leaves you with a mindset.
Thank you @shreyas for designing such a meaningful and impactful course. The depth of insights and intentional teaching have been truly eye-opening. For any leader passionate about building exceptional products, the Product Sense course is time well spent and highly rewarding!
I never post non-restaurant reviews on public platforms, but there is always an exception to every rule:
Just finished Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course yesterday. It was one of the most important things I did career-wise in 2024, opening my eyes on new ways to evaluate and generate winning products.
Every word of every slide was thought through, and the examples and exercises were on point. The course is designed for senior+ leaders in product, so I am sure if that is your role you will take away even more from it than I did.
Shreyas's exceptional communication skills shine through even over Zoom. You'll be so engaged and intrigued that the 5 hour lectures will pass by like the snap of a finger. This was a masterclass in remote teaching itself.
The course is so popular that the next open enrollment as of writing this post is in April 2025! You can sign up for it as a New Years resolution here:
Product sense is something you use to make decisions at many levels and in many roles. It doesn’t matter if you’re an engineer, a PM, or a founder — it’s a critical skill, and Shreyas Doshi really goes deep on how to improve it.
Thank you, Shreyas Doshi!

This weekend, I finished Shreyas Doshi's Improving Your Product Sense course (lnkd.in/dFW5RdEZ), which I found transformative and highly recommend, particularly for those in product roles. While the course is costly and intense, it offers unique insights that can significantly enhance product sense and thinking clarity. It's a worthy investment for senior leaders.
You don’t right away learn product sense from Shreyas Doshi course but instead you learn that it’s something you have the capability to develop with the right mindset.
His course empowers you with this whole new perspective of looking at things and analyzing.
You start asking more “Why” and deferring “How” to a bit later.
I just completed Shreyas Doshi’s masterclass on ‘Improving your product sense’ and it was absolutely incredible. He offers many practical and powerful techniques to deepen your thinking which, over time, should improve the quality of your product decisions. This was unlike any course I have taken - very interactive with effective ways to continuously prompt your thinking.
I would highly recommend it to anyone building software products - especially senior folks not just within product management but also across engineering and design.

Last week, I completed 'Improving Your Product Sense' course lnkd.in/gxVqbcVw and wanted to share my experience.
It has been an incredible, unique and interactive experience. It is the best product course that I have ever taken. It helped me evolve my overall thought process holistically.
It decoupled a lot of product concepts as well as it allowed me to see a holistic product picture - from product strategy to creative execution leading to impact. I have been focusing on improving my strategy and vision for a while. This course gave me everything that was missing for me.
Thanks Shreyas Doshi for creating this course, sharing your knowledge and experiences with us in this course as well as through your videos on YouTube channel.
Still processing Shreyas Doshi product sense course. It cuts through the usual product noise. Dropped serious insights on how creativity, empathy, and strategy actually connect. Less about tactics, more about understanding why things click. It made me rethink how I approach design problems.
There are not many experiences out there that fundamentally shift your mental model - question one's approach, break conditioning, surface biases & ultimately set you up to seek very high standards for yourself & your teams.
All this, in many ways, by simply showing you a mirror!
That's exactly what Shreyas Doshi's "Improving your Product Sense" program is about - lnkd.in/g4M9cuvA

It was incredibly enriching and rewarding and worth every minute I spent with Shreyas and this fantastic cohort. I highly recommend it to product leaders to enhance their decision-making skills and strategic thinking. Check it out here, you won’t regret it:

What sets Shreyas apart is his ability to challenge preconceived notions and encourage critical thinking about every product decision.
Shreyas's teaching style is engaging, insightful, and thought-provoking, with a knack for explaining complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner that prompts different thinking.
I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of product development and serious about''' building successful tech products.

Just finished Shreyas Doshi's course on Improving Your Product Sense (lnkd.in/gRdQCucM). It's one of the best courses I've ever taken. What I like most from the course is that it teaches you how to think better and get to the truth; everything else follows.
This was a great quote from the Product Sense course I took from Shreyas. Growth mindset!
It was a great experience to be learning with peers with a good balance between listening and practicing.

I've now finished the 8-day 'Improving Your Product Sense' course by Shreyas Doshi.
The course is exceptional. Shreyas is an extremely clear thinker and he's extremely direct - which means you get the real truth, not nice-sounding BS.
The content, product examples, and analysis are world class. This is a course that will last you the rest of your tech career. And everyone in tech should take it.
It's also more than just product sense - it teaches you product strategy, marketing, communication, and influence.
The course content is definitely an example of Naval's "specific knowledge". No one else in the world could teach this course, and no one else would be as good. Well done Shreyas, I'll be rewatching these lectures for a long, long time. :)
Just finished Shreyas Doshi's Improving Your Product Sense course and it is easily the best Product Management-related course I have ever come across. It is an amazing opportunity to "train your own LLM" to be significantly better at making correct product decisions, critical in this age of AI opportunity.
Just finished session 4 of Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course this evening. The biggest differentiator this course has over all other courses/content I have come across is, this is catered for actual Product Management, Product Strategy skills vs cracking the interviews skills internet these days is filled with.
I remember talking to a couple of friends and sharing I don't like the majority of the available courses because they only teach about cracking interviews which is way different than actual Product Manager work.
Big thank you Shreyas Doshi for creating this course and sharing knowledge which I bet I can utilize for years and not just an hour interview.
As I began to reflect on this past year, I realized how much learning I acquired across different domains and how fun it is to fulfill my curiosity towards the world - from getting to know fintech as an industry, to broadening my horizons in different activities, as well as continuing developing my product skills.
For the past 2 weeks, I was fully engaged in attending Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course, here are some of my aha moments:
1, Train your brain to be the best possible LLM out there. Use all possible methods to develop your LLM to make fully informed product decisions (and life decisions).
2, Creativity is key in product sense. Product is more of an art than a science. Unleash your full product potential by deliberately building creativity and fostering that mindset.
3, Product positioning (2*2 charts that maps out the uniqueness of your product) is what has been already determined when the product launch, while product strategy is the everchanging "how" that will take you to build a great product based on current circumstances.
Look forward to continue building my product muscles in the new year!
I completed Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course on Maven ( lnkd.in/esfMCggg) this past weekend, and I'm genuinely blown away! The experience was transformative - it fundamentally reshaped how I approach product management and decision-making. What sets this course apart is Shreyas's exceptional ability to break down complex product thinking into clear, first-principle approaches that stick with you.
The course can be quite intense! It pushed me to deeply examine and structure my product thinking process. Beyond just theory, the course equipped me with practical ways to identify what truly matters when building winning products. If you're a product executive or founder aiming to create category-defining products (and WIN), this is an investment worth making.
Yesterday I finished Shreyas Doshi "Improving your Product Sense" course. It would be hard to define what the course covers in a few lines, as there are so many topics condensed in a short space of time, but it goes deep around the concept that decision-making is a skill that can (and should) be trained.
As PMs, we spend most of our time making decisions (specially as we progress in our careers), so it is crucial to train our minds and learn how to understand them (yes, learn how to understand our minds and their biases).
In general, I recommend this course if you are Senior PM, Head, VP, etc. or if you are creating or leading a startup, as I think that the mindset is extremely useful for both cases.
Last month I had a blast with @shreyas product sense course.
My goal was to gauge what the top 0.01% of topics like product strategy and user empathy feels like. The course over delivered! Creativity, taste, product sense interviews. So insightful.
Highly recommend!
Just finished product sense course over the last week with Shreyas Doshi
Few learnings which completely changed my thought process about product management:
- Skills based product management can be thought. I did not think the same way 8 days back but now i do
- To learn & advance your career in product, you need to look outside the box, outside of the day to day product that you work in. 2024 gave me two instances to appreciate this point: Shreyas course & sabbatical travel
Thank you Shreyas for choosing this path and drafting this course to make us all better at product management.
Last week I completed Shreyas Doshi's "Improving Your Product Sense" course, which fundamentally changed my understanding of what it means to build something meaningful.
The course was intense — perhaps the most concentrated week of learning I've ever experienced.
Product strategy is essentially a creative act. It's not a mechanical process, but an art form where the constraints become your canvas.
Just like LLMs, our product intuition requires constant training. It's not about memorizing frameworks — it's about getting rid of garbage and thinking hard about users.
For anyone building products — whether you're a product manager, designer or engineer — this isn't just another course. It's a toolbox to reframe your approach to building winning products.
The "me" of today is unrecognizable compared to the "me" of two weeks ago. I’ve acquired new lenses to see the world in a much clearer and more thoughtful way. It feels as if I’ve undergone a cognitive transplant, gaining years of knowledge and experience from a seasoned professional in just a short time.
I’m talking about the Product Sense course that I have attended by Shreyas Doshi. This transformative and intense program delved deep into Product Strategy, Cognitive Empathy, Executive Creativity, and key Product Artifacts like Product Vision.
What makes this course stand out is Shreyas himself. He doesn’t just teach. He transmits his passion, sharing hard-earned insights and secrets gathered over years of building products in successful organizations, coaching leaders, and exploring the ever-evolving market landscape. He knows all the books out there and can instantly point you to the masterpieces.
But it wasn’t just about theory. It was interactive, collaborative and, surprisingly, fun! Connecting with peers, learning through candid discussions, and tackling real-world challenges made it an experience I’ll carry forward.
If you’re looking to elevate your product thinking, this course is truly a game-changer.
🚀 Highly recommend Shreyas Doshi's course on Product Sense and Career Advice for 2025 and beyond!
The insights were game-changing, but my biggest takeaway? Mastering the art of breaking down big, complex concepts into actionable steps and refining targeted areas to maximize success.
A must for anyone looking to level up in product management and beyond! 💡

I took the Shreyas Doshi Product Sense course on Maven, which made me realize that only decluttering leads to clarity.
For example, building products:
I collected everything about building products.
The high-quality content is all there - Lenny, Kagan, and endless resources on product management.
And yeah, I'd bookmark them for later. (Hello, Superhuman PMF framework)
Each new framework or "best practice" felt like another tool in my toolbox.
But really, I was becoming better at bookmarking than building.
Because frameworks and best practices are a convenient excuse for not thinking about what would make YOUR product successful.
The thing about Shreyas's course is that it's subtractive, not additive.
Instead of giving you more frameworks to collect, it strips away the BS and forces you to think from first principles.
Turns out you spend the second half of your life unlearning all the crap you picked up in the first half.
Best investment I made in 2024.
Attending Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course felt like stepping into the editing room of my own mind. The course was packed with Aha moments that reshaped how I think about product management and decision-making.
Shreyas has this ability to take concepts you think you know and deconstruct them, only to rebuild them in a way that leaves you asking questions like, “Why didn’t I see it this way before?”
A big thank you to Sanket Shah and Anshul Khandelwal for nudging me and enrolling me for this course - It was pure genius!
I don’t usually post here, but this experience deserves a spotlight. If you’re in product management, I can’t recommend this course enough.

Just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course. It's unlike any other product training or resource I've encountered - the course centers around training skills v. teaching methods/frameworks. Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course is one of the best upskilling experiences I've had. If you're in the product space—unless you're already a product rockstar among rockstars—I'd highly recommend it.
Can't say I'm not glad its over though with the 9 pm to 3 am sessions (Dubai time) with only a 6 minute break baked in.
🤯 This course broke my brain – in the best way possible.
25+ hours of intense learning with Shreyas Doshi in the Product Sense Course, and I’ll never look at building products the same way again.
Shreyas doesn’t waste a second - literally. He cuts through the fluff, challenges conventional product wisdom, and shows you what truly matters. The examples are razor-sharp, the insights are game-changing, and his lessons stick. It felt like my product thinking was being reprogrammed, one session at a time.
This course isn’t just about product sense – it’s about quality thinking, strategy, and unleashing creativity to build exceptional products. It’s about learning how to win.
👉 So if you’re in tech, product or design, this course is a no-brainer. It’s the kind of investment that doesn’t just level you up - it puts you ahead.
🙌 Thank you, Shreyas, for delivering something truly mind-shifting.
I just wrapped Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course - an absolute masterclass for founders and product people on how to make more correct product decisions more often. But more than product, he shared incredible wisdom on how to improve your thinking, how to understand human behaviour, and how to live an intentional life.
It's a 2025 must for anyone working on the product side of tech, particularly founders, PMs, product leaders, engineers and designers.

🚀 "Developing Product Sense" 🪄 🧠 🎈
Now that the dust has settled, let me share my thoughts on Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course. Earlier, I said it was the best *overall training* I have ever taken (not just PM or product training) and I continue to stand by it.
My key takeaways:
1. Creativity and strategy are skills that can be learned, developed and grown. There are structured methods that we can apply to cultivate them.
2. Creative execution (the delivery of innovative ideas) FAR exceeds the value of creating ideas. [Thinking is cheap. Execution is expensive.]
3. We cultivate our individual "LLMs" (or collective consciousness or self) everyday and with every interaction. We need to input the right context and ask the right prompts, and get rid of the garbage.
4. Our differentiation today, and tomorrow, and throughout the upcoming AI revolution, depends on the [Quality of our Thinking].
5. Read the book "Understanding Michael Porter" 4 times. 😅
There is a LOT, lot more. I can't wait to continue learning in the alumni "Product Club". Apply for his course on Maven. (It is now booked til March!) My course was filled with Product Leads, Founders, CEOs, Design and Engineering Leads. All found it highly applicable and valuable. The course value FAR exceeded the price of admission.
I just finished Shreyas Doshi's product sense course. If you’re doing any sort of product work, I’d highly recommend doing his course.
I was consistently blown away by the depth and clarity of his thinking w.r.t the craft of creating products. I’ve interacted with a lot of PMs in my career. His discipline in approaching product management from a first-principles and truth-seeking lens is extraordinarily rare. Learning from him has had a non-trivial impact on how I think about products, and will likely shape the next project I work on. Honestly, I wish I get a chance to work with him at some point in the future.
If you’ve worked or interacted with me in any meaningful capacity, you’ll know how rare it is for me to offer such an effusive testimonial for something like this. I can be kind of a hater 😅
To all the product (and product-adjacent) folks, I'd highly recommend taking Shreyas Doshi's "Improving Your Product Sense" course if you're looking to build the skills needed for winning products.
The course was more intense than I anticipated at first but that's what makes it a worthwhile investment in your own development. The curriculum is is the best breakdown of the the fundamentals of product sense that I've seen anywhere.
Here is the link for future course dates and enrollment:
Framework-driven product development has become the hot trend.
As builders, we often obsess over insights from successful companies, trying to replicate their processes and strategies step-by-step.
But here’s the truth: blindly following the playbook of another company won’t help us win.
Why? Because their success was built on their unique ability to make the right product decisions for their specific context.
And that’s exactly what we need to focus on developing - our own product sense. Only by honing our ability to make the right calls in our unique situations, especially in the presence of significant ambiguity, can we build winning products.
This is where Shreyas Doshi's course on improving product sense stands out. Unlike other courses that offer cookie-cutter recipes for building products, Shreyas dives deep into the foundational skills you need to grow as a builder. It’s not about following someone else’s path; it’s about developing your own compass (or training your LLM as Shreyas says).
If you’re looking to upskill your product sense to a world-class level, I highly recommend this course. It’s a game-changer.
Highly recommend this for anyone working in and around products: lnkd.in/g9AzdAig
Shreyas Doshi packs an amazing learning experience into a short timeframe. I took it last month, and expect I'll return to the material throughout this year to really digest it. Continuing to practice a learning mindset, developing your mental model, and techniques to think through a wide variety of problems were just a few of my takeaways. It's intense, and very much worth it.
Really appreciate the people who recommended it - they were spot on (shout out to Ashton Udall).
I've made plenty of mistakes in my life and work. Taking the Product Sense course from Shreyas Doshi was thankfully not one of them. It's an intensive 7 day (25 hour+) boot camp on how to make better (Product) decisions. There are wince inducing moments as you face up to where you've gone wrong and how, but you leave with confidence that step by step, decision by decision, you'll improve from here. Highly recommended: lnkd.in/eZ_vaKsa
“The single most impactful Course you can take, inclusive of all courses in the world at any institution. Taking it should be your highest priority”
Late last year, reviews like the one above started popping into my feed, and after following Shreyas Doshi for years on Twitter for his product advice, I knew I had to make time for his Product Sense course asap (it's now sold out until April).
As PMs, we’re inundated with frameworks and stories of what worked for the latest unicorn. They're easily applied at a surface level without really understanding when or why they make sense. Over the years, I’ve gathered frameworks, know-how, and developed intuition, yet my approach to product decision-making still felt murkier than I cared to admit.
Shreyas’s course was a moment of absolute clarity: he connects the dots and trains you to think correctly about strategy and product sense. You don’t walk away with more trendy frameworks—you leave with seriously levelled up foundational skills that truly help you to win.
If you want to sharpen your product thinking—whether you’re a founder, engineer, or seasoned PM—this course exceeded my expectations and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
If you’re looking to up level your product thinking, look no further than Shreyas Doshi’s Improving your Product Sense course.
I had high expectations and they were exceeded. Ive found it difficult to find anything of value in the PM learning space as it’s terribly crowded - I’ve read SO much. I don’t see myself referencing anything else beyond this course for quite awhile when it comes to PM skill development.
Across nearly every aspect of product, Shreyas shared his personal POV that distilled down the essential elements to focus on for maximal impact. There were three 5 hour days in the week long intensive with no more than a few minutes of break and the time flew by.
My favorite part? It was just hilarious and incredibly validating. At times, it felt like a one man Socially Inept: Tech Roast Show - the stories (at times rants) and examples Shreyas brings to the table deeply convey his experience with the challenges of this role.
If you’re wanting to level up your skills and get ahead in your career, absolutely take this course. The learnings + the network of folks you can connect with are worth well beyond the price tag.
Over the last 8 days, I had the chance to learn from Shreyas Doshi in his Product Sense course lnkd.in/gGHchJk3.
The course stretched my mind and allowed me to look at product strategy from a new perspective. I’ve been fortunate to learn from some of the best product leaders out there, and Shreyas is absolutely one of them. I’ve come away with a new perspective on how to approach product development and much to reflect on and apply.
I’m still learning, but I already feel a shift in how I look at the product world. If you’re a product leader or working in product development, I can’t recommend this course enough.
Thank you, Shreyas, for an incredible course.
Recently finished Shreyas Doshi’s Improving Your Product Sense course and loved it. I really enjoyed going deep about the deeper psychology behind things I normally overlook, as well as learning about of the strategic and positioning choices that can lead to success. Shreyas is an engaging teacher and a master at breaking down complex ideas. Highly recommend!

🎉 I just completed Shreyas Doshi's intense yet enjoyable course over a week, "Improving Your Product Sense," and it was an incredible journey! This experience was unconventional beyond mere tactics and frameworks, leading me to develop a new mental model for thinking and perceiving the world. It may be a bold statement, but I truly believe it was transformational.

Day 31 of 100
“Product Sense is a skill.”
I just finished Shreyas Doshi’s Product Sense course and in a word: phenomenal.
The learnings from the course are applicable across much more than just product, spanning into marketing, design, psychology, and more.
My favorite aspect of the course is that it provides you with proven tools and ways of thinking to continue improving your product sense long after the course is over. There is no magic pill, you have to put in the work afterwards, but as someone who has spent many years in the product space, the materials in the course are truly legit.
If you are a founder, PM, or just someone who wants to develop an innate sense of how quality software products get conceived and brought to life, I wholeheartedly recommend the course.

Have a week to spare?
OK probably not, but as you start thinking and doing resolutions for next year, I highly recommend Shreyas Doshi Product Sense course on Maven (btw awesome what you are building Gagan Biyani)
It's pretty intense, but unlike many other courses out there that focus either on the nuts and bolts (which OK if you are starting but what do you do once you've accrued some experience) or are too framework-y to be actually impactful, this one is helpful and have a feeling i'll keep coming back to the materials more than once,
Check it out! And if you do take it, let me know!
Last week, I completed Shreyas Doshi's week-long 'Improving Your Product Sense' course and wanted to share my experience.
This has been my most transformative learning experience in over a decade. The course structure - intense sessions spread across a week with longer sessions over weekends - creates an immersive environment that challenges and reshapes your product thinking fundamentals.
What sets this course apart is its focus on developing world-class product sense. The cohort experience was exceptional, featuring product leaders from top-tier companies and founders from diverse backgrounds from all over the world across multiple time zones, all contributing to rich discussions and perspectives.
While the course demands significant investment - both in terms of time and energy (stock up on coffee and snacks!) - it delivers tremendous value. You'll need to bring an open mind, willingness to challenge existing beliefs, and stamina for intense learning sessions. The payoff? A deeply enhanced understanding of product sense and product strategy that's immediately applicable.
A key prerequisite: some experience in product development, design, or engineering helps maximize learning, though the principles are valuable even for those outside traditional tech roles.
If you're serious about elevating your product leadership capabilities to the next level, this course is an absolute must. It's worth every penny and minute invested. The insights I've gained have already begun reshaping how I approach product decisions.
Check out the course here -
I attended a fantastic Product Sense workshop by Shreyas Doshi earlier this month. The content and delivery were excellent, and networking with product leaders worldwide was an unexpected bonus.
If you're a senior PM or a product leader looking to Improve Your Product Sense, I couldn’t recommend this more!

Wrapping up 2024 on a high note with Shreyas Doshi's Product sense course last week and fortunate to have been part of the last cohort of this year. It was refreshing, engaging, intense and impactful.
What stood out for me was Shreyas himself with his delivery par excellence. It is not frameworks, it is not templates, it is not playbooks but he trains the LLM within you to think better, to decide better and build better.
Finished Shreyas Doshi's "Improving Your Product Sense" course—absolutely S-tier. It emphasizes clear and creative strategic thinking while cutting through the typical product management fluff. Highly recommended for anyone aiming to enhance decision making skills and elevate their product game to focus on what truly matters.
I recently spent an intensive week taking Shreyas Doshi’s “Improving Your Product Sense” course, and it truly exceeded my expectations.
Unlike many product courses that focus on frameworks or certifications, this one was refreshingly different. It changed how I think about product sense by introducing concepts that go deeper than any framework ever could. These insights have already started to influence my approach and aligning it with our users’ needs.
For anyone looking to refine their product sense skills and elevate their impact, I highly recommend it!
