I took @shreyas’ Improving Your Product Sense course in September and it was brilliant. No regurgitation of every Product Management book out there; just a candid curriculum rooted in what actually works/doesn’t in product. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Last week I had the pleasure to attend the class 'Improve your product sense', created and taught by Shreyas Doshi. It was an intense course, but honestly the content and the effect it has on my thinking is exciting. The course focuses on 2 key topics, namely improving product sense and (real) product strategy. No volcano of frameworks or theoretical concepts, but real world / practical knowledge reduced to the essence, based on the vast experience of Shreyas Doshi. If you are an experienced PM, looking to upgrade your thinking, I'd certainly recommend this course. You can find it on Maven: lnkd.in/e_9KdRp2

Last week, I took Shreyas Doshi's “Improving Your Product Sense” course. Going in, I thought it would simply be about frameworks and tactics for product decisions. But I learned way more than that, it reshaped how I think about products, strategy, and even the way I approach everyday decisions. It wasn’t just about “how to build better products,” but about how to think better as a product person, and as a person overall. For a long time, I delayed signing up, telling myself I’d get to it eventually. In hindsight, I wish I hadn’t waited. If you’re someone who’s curious, open to "unlearning", and ready to expand how you see the world of product (and beyond), this course will leave a lasting impact. lnkd.in/gpFsqw35

I just spent a week immersed in Shreyas Doshi's Improving Your Product Sense course, and it was a genuinely eye-opening experience. The course challenges a lot of conventional thinking and provides a fresh way to approach building products. Shreyas has broken down his experience into very simple blocks and has articulated them really well in this course. I particularly enjoyed the candor and directness throughout the course, which pushed me to reflect on my own decision-making process. Thanks, Shreyas, for this amazing learning experience! If you're considering taking the course, I'm happy to chat! more info: lnkd.in/ga27UxtE

Thanks to GenAI, the knowledge barrier has decreased in a way we hadn’t seen since the early 2000s. Every company can gather market insights and benchmark competitors with ease. Everyone is striving to increase productivity with agents, so in a few years this will no longer provide such a competitive advantage. So what does that leave us with? 1. The ability to think clearly, critically and with creativity 2. Deep knowledge of our customer behavior. That's where Shreyas Doshi's Improving Your Product Sense course comes in. It completely reframed how I think about building winning products. It has so many condensed insights about creating differentiated value. But it's waaaay more than what you expect from a product course: less fluffy frameworks, more real-life insights on how to differentiate and actually beat competition. More provocations on how to think deeply and clearly, less of a cake recipe with a bunch of unattached-from-reality steps to success. One of my main bets for the future is that as building becomes easier, the real differentiator for product builders will be the ability to think clearly, critically, and creatively. Understanding how to position your product and differentiate it—by choosing the right audience and defining what to build—will be the key moving forward. This course tackles exactly that. It's not cheap by any means. It's also worth every penny. I highly recommend it to anyone aiming to build winning products, including founders, engineers, designers and go-to-market teams.

Over the last two weekends, I took the 'Improving Your Product Sense' course by product guru Shreyas Doshi and it was absolutely worth it. Shreyas Doshi has a unique ability to take something as abstract as 'Product Sense' and break it down into practical, actionable concepts. He also took us on an incredible journey through Motivation Theory, Cognitive Empathy, and Creativity, helping us see how these human elements shape great product decisions. The course content is highly curated and designed around building the skills required for better product decisions. I’m genuinely excited to apply these learnings in my work and see how they shape better product decisions and outcomes. Feeling grateful to Shreyas Doshi and the amazing cohort for the discussions, and real-world examples. If you are thinking of improving your product sense, I can’t recommend this course enough. lnkd.in/gmVRSe2Q

Improve Your Product Sense should be a priority to anyone who wants to learn the skills that will increase the odds of building winning products. This +30 hours course gave me ways to remove the "Garbage" and "train our LLMs" to seek the truth on Product in a way that I never did in my entire career. It's bittersweet to see this coming to an end, but I'm deeply grateful for the generosity, clarity and experience that Shreyas Doshi shared. Highly recommend this to any IC/Leader who wants to win.

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Improving Your Product Sense by Shreyas Doshi on Maven! I've always respected teaching ways where you learn how to learn - Shreyas has given us new perspectives but also practical techniques that boost and confirm learnings. There were a lot of layers that I'll yet get to unpack, but some of his phrases have already stuck with me and will probably stay forever :D Thanks for a really nice experience and for reminding me that I already have all it takes, I just need to prompt my LLM more thoroughly :)

I recently completed Shreyas Doshi Product Sense course, and it was an incredible learning experience. The course offers practical learnings and deep insights into improving product thinking, illustrating the high bar that great builders set when approaching products. It thoughtfully covers the core elements of Product Sense—Motivation Theory, Cognitive Empathy, Product Strategy, and Creativity—making complex ideas easy to understand and apply. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to sharpen their product thinking skills. Thank you, Shreyas!

Last month was special. I had the privilege of being in the company of some truly sharp product managers, founders, and engineers, discussing product strategy. By that, I don't mean empty buzzwords and frameworks. We dissected real-world examples of positioning, segmentation, and motivation theory — exploring the “why” behind product decisions and how subtle shifts can create disproportionate impact. This was part of Shreyas Doshi’s “Improving Your Product Sense” course - an intense, insightful experience that challenged my thinking and sharpened my skills at the same time. I'm glad I stayed for Q&A which was full of high-caliber debates and discussions. I'm motivated to bring these learnings to the products I'm shaping.🚀

This week, I saw the matrix for the first time in my career. No, not the movie – I saw that back in 1999. I mean for the first time in my career as a Product Designer having worked at bootstrapped startups to arguably the world's largest tech company, I saw behind the "reality" of why we do what we do in the industry. Shreyas Doshi has crafted a mind bending course about improving product sense that challenges the status quo and makes you question all your assumptions in order to arrive at the conclusion: you are not as good at product strategy as you think you are – BUT you can become great at it, if only you see past the surface level. Over the course of a week Shreyas has armed me with the mindset and the tools necessary to penetrate the veil of lazy thinking and arrive at the truth behind any product development problem. I wish I could share everything I learned here, but you would be better served to attend the course yourself: lnkd.in/gerM3UfB

After years of reading books, listening to podcasts, and consuming countless blogs about product management, I thought: "What more could I possibly learn?" I'm so glad I was wrong. Shreyas didn't just cover the fundamentals—he showed me an entirely new ceiling for what great product sense looks like. Wrapped up Shreyas Doshi’s Improving Your Product Sense course over last weekend, and it’s truly been eye-opening. What I appreciated most was the emphasis on improving the quality of thinking and developing your own product sense — rather than relying on a collection of frameworks or models. The way Shreyas breaks down complex concepts and then reinforces them with practical examples made it much easier to grasp the nuances and apply them in real-world products. Huge thanks to Shreyas Doshi and his team for the memorable learning experience ! I would strongly recommend this to anyone who is looking to learn how to build better products. lnkd.in/diycD7XS

Just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi’s #ProductSense course — and wow. 🔥 I went in a bit skeptical. After 15+ years in product, did I really need another course? Another framework? Another inspirational message? What I found was something entirely different. Shreyas doesn’t just teach — he rewires how you think about product. Within days, I was making sharper, faster calls — and I saw the same shift in my cohort of peers, including product leaders from startups and top-tier companies including Google, Amazon, and Stripe. The experience was unlike any other training I’ve experienced, resulting a tangible upgrade to intuition — the kind you carry straight back into your work. Just finished Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course, and it's deeply challenged how I think about building products. The course focused on practical skills (strategy, segmentation, differentiation, creativity) with a focus on "thinking correctly" rather than relying on common frameworks. As a Product Engineer, this shifted how I think about discovery. It's easy to jump to solutions based on a complaint or feature request, but the better move is often stepping back to understand what's really going on in the user's mind before acting. I feel this topic is especially relevant with the rise of AI. We're shipping code faster and faster, but are we solving the right problems with the increased pace? What separates products that win from ones that fizzle out? I'll definitely be sitting with these questions over the coming months. 🤔

If I tell you that in a single week, you can easily 10x your quality of thinking when it comes to product, you probably think this could only apply to early career people. I just finished Improving your Product Sense by Shreyas Doshi and it's a truly transformative experience. In fact it probably did more for me now than it would have done a few years ago with less experience. For the first time I feel like I really see how high the ceiling is when it comes to product work and at the same time I understand how to get there. It's like a new world has unlocked. If you're working in product or adjacent (design, engineering, curious stakeholder, etc) I recommend you commit to these highly interactive sessions and gain a new product sense.

Just wrapped up my Improving Your Product Sense course with Shreyas Doshi. Honestly, calling it just another PM course would be an understatement. From the curriculum to the AMAs, the depth of learning was way beyond what I expected. I have followed Shreyas online for a long time, but learning LIVE from him was probably one of the best choices I have made in my career. The way he uses his own LLM and prompts it to crack real scenarios is just mind-blowing. What stood out for me was Shreyas’ raw, candid, no-BS style. Super practical, super real. No textbook fluff. No ideal-world theory. Just actual problem-solving that kept me hooked for almost 8 hours straight on some days. This is not about frameworks, templates, or PM toolkits. It is about structured prompting that helps you get to the truth of a situation and make the best decision. Honestly, this has been one of the best career investments I have made in the last 10 years. Easy 10/10. If you are a PM, I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much, Shreyas Doshi. I know it will take me time to internalize everything from the past week, but having access to the content means I can keep coming back. Even if I put just a fraction of this into practice, I feel confident I will get to that top 2 percentile, because like we discussed, the bar is too low and the ceiling is sky high! 😉 👉 Course link in comments.

Just wrapped up a week of Improving Product Sense course from Shreyas Doshi. I was initially skeptical at the learnings that were possible, and if someone with a tech PM background could really teach lessons that a gaming PM could learn. Yeah I realized I was wrong within 5 minutes and over the next week, it was an exhilarating ride that got me to think deeply about a lot of core product fundamentals that I've often held as truth (without really thinking why) The overall clarity that this class has provided has really been foundational, and I am so excited to continue to apply this in my world. Strongly would recommend to anyone interested in learning from one of the best.

Product leaders, the most valuable product skill you were never taught: trusting your gut. Once you’ve practiced that, do yourself a favor and take Shreyas Doshi Product Sense course and learn how to explain your decisions with clarity and conviction. As you grow, you realize trusting your gut is actually the right path almost anywhere in life. The challenge? Nobody teaches you how to do it. It’s often framed as irrational, and you naturally and inevitably doubt yourself. I know I sure did. But with enough experience, you see that your instincts are built on patterns you’ve already internalized - and they’re almost never wrong. Shreyas taught me that with the right set of “prompts,” you can traverse your thinking graphs and uncover the why behind your product instincts. One of the most powerful ideas I took away was Shreyas’s “brain as an LLM” analogy: 🧠 Your lifetime of experiences is the training data. 🧠 Prompts are how you unearth the why and refine your product sense. 🧠 And not everything needs to be explained - some truths just are, and that’s okay. Initially I considered taking the course async and just watching recordings because of the time zone difference - but I’m so glad I joined live. Every nuanced detail in the product of the product sense course was deliberately designed by Shreyas, and it was humbling to experience it. This course stands out as one of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had (alongside the brilliant marketing course by Eyal Maoz back in Zell). Bottom line: highly recommended for any founder or senior product leader. Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, it’s worth it. Don’t miss the live lectures - the ROI will be 1000x. I just finished the"Improving Product Sense" course by Shreyas Doshi. When I first read a few of these 10 out of 10 star reviews of Shreyas's course, I initially thought that it must be a massive PM cult, a mass hypnosis or something of that nature. That it just cannot be that good to so many people, some of whom I know personally. That's what I thought before I took it. But I was so wrong. The course has been indeed mind blowing, inspiring, and transformational. After reading quite a few PM books by Marty Cagan, Terresa Torres, Tony Fadell, etc. and watching a lot of Lenny's podcast episodes with seasoned product leaders, I was naturally thinking "What's so new and unique I can learn in a week's time that I've never heard before?" I was so wrong again. The course is essentially a treasure trove of knowledge, insights, observations from 20 years of Shreyas's PM career packed into an intense week of learning of how to think better and how to ultimately be better in the PM craft. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any non-junior product person.

What an immersion! I just completed Shreyas Doshi’s Product Sense course and I’m truly amazed by the unique way he approaches this topic. I’ve been following Shreyas on LinkedIn and YouTube for a while, and have always admired his radical candor and pragmatic communication on product leadership. Throughout the course, I had several breakthrough moments 🤯, real paradigm shifts, that made me rethink how I’ve been applying my knowledge so far. The clarity, depth, and structured way he guides the learnings made this experience transformative for me. If you are interested in taking the course too, check this link lnkd.in/dBiZDR_W.

I just finished Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course... the only product course to completely disrupt my thinking. When you hear the word "disruption," you probably tend to think about disruptive products, disruptive tech, disruptive business models, etc. Folks, this is disruptive product thinking. Shreyas will challenge every sacred (and likely incorrect) tenet you hold dear. And he'll do it with an instructive style unlike anything you've experienced before. But I promise: if you walk in with a beginner's mind and leave your ego at the door, you will walk out with a paradigm shift and a quality lift in your thinking. I can't promise that you or I will fully wield this new knowledge (and most definitely we won't do it nearly as well as Shreyas), but I can tell you that you will absolutely walk out with a glimpse into the matrix of world-class product thinking.

Last week, I took Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course. It is by far the best education about product I’ve taken, and I wish more PMs in the industry would do the same. My only regret is not having done it sooner. Sounds vague - why is it good? Lots of reasons, but I'll call out 3: 1. It covers all the skills (yes, really) to do product *right* and goes especially deep into how to improve your clarity of thinking 2. It’s super practical - think ‘real talk’ and actual insights instead of frameworks that don’t work 3. You can apply the learnings to any kind of product decision - from high-level strategy to “should we do X or Y for this feature?” It's intense and not for everyone, but worth it for anyone in product or if you're a founder. I've noticed an instant improvement in my focus, thinking and communication. Link to the course: lnkd.in/dH5iF87X

I have always been hesitant about online courses. Most feel too generic and rarely translate into real-world impact after all, every situation and every product challenge is different. But after hearing rave reviews from friends, I decided to give this product sense course a shot. And I am so glad I did. The 8 days were intense, but they rewired how I think about product management. It genuinely felt like new neural pathways were being created - I now see problems and opportunities in a completely different light. Shreyas Doshi was raw, direct, and candid- so much so that at times it felt like he had been secretly observing me and then articulating the exact blind spots I needed to hear about. It was mind-blowing. I’m simply grateful that a course like this even exists. If you want clarity in your thinking and truly want to succeed with your product, I can’t recommend it enough. How often does your course instructor tell you this? "After this, unfollow me. Don’t take another one of my classes. I have taught you everything you need to know.”

🇺🇸 I just finished the Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course and honestly… best course I’ve ever done. Actually, best educational experience I’ve had since college. His methodology is really solid, everything is well thought out, and I finally got to go deep on topics that in product are usually treated in a very superficial way (and full of “garbage”). I hadn’t done any course in a long time because I have this internal hypothesis: with tech and AI moving so fast, more “formal” education doesn’t feel that attractive anymore. And at the same time, it’s a huge challenge to find experiences that truly add value — not just push simplified frameworks and step-by-step recipes. I leave this week super energized, already seeing the impact on how I think and operate daily. And for sure I’ll revisit the material many times — it was intense, dense, and very rich.

---- There are two questions that occasionally trouble me when I think about my career. 1. Should I be pursuing some form of formal education to learn more and advance in my career? An MBA? A postgraduate degree? A product management course? 2. Should I be sharing what I’ve learned throughout my career so far? Last week, following recommendations from people I trust, I took the course "Improving Your Product Sense" by Shreyas Doshi and came to conclusions about both questions. For the first one, it was somewhat obvious that the course would be helpful, but to my surprise, it also addressed the second. The way Shreyas teaches and the course content are unlike anything I’ve seen in the product world. It’s not about teaching a bunch of theoretical concepts that look good on paper but don’t work in real life. It’s a direct approach with practical, applicable knowledge. So yes, there are formal education "products" that will contribute to my growth. But after this course, I am absolutely certain it’s not "just any" course that will make a difference. Additionally, one thing that deeply impacted me during the course is that it’s not about sharing knowledge superficially; it’s about sharing content that I truly connected with, content that changed the way I think. Therefore, regarding the second question, I’ve come to the conclusion that it doesn’t make sense for me to share something unless it genuinely connects with and deeply impacts others, just like Shreyas’s course did.

Spent the past 8 days of summer with Shreyas Doshi in his Product Sense course. If you work in Product, it honestly feels like a cheat code. Shreyas is raw, real, and unflinchingly clear. He’ll make you realize how much you’ve been overcomplicating things and how often you're the one in your own way. How many classes end with the instructor saying: "After this, unfollow me. Don’t take another one of my classes. I’ve taught you everything you need to know." Grateful for the clarity and insight from one of the sharpest minds in the field!

There are very few moments in life, when you become acutely aware of the transformation you are going through. Most of the time, it’s something we look back at and feel good/bad about. This week, I witnessed it firsthand as a part of Shreyas Doshi's phenomenal Product Sense course. Truly exhilarated and amazed! It sounds counterintuitive to admit on a professional social platform that I cannot remember the last time in my life; when I was glued to every session, every minute, every learning, a course had to offer. I absolutely loved how he taught us to view product sense, product strategy, influence, through clear & intuitive thinking, coupled with understanding human behavior. All I can say is - This course has changed the lens through which I will view the world & engage with, happily every after 🙂. P.S. : For folks who are close to me, know about my love of scuba diving. The last time I felt so elated was after our dives in Raja Ampat (the mecca of diving), with the sad realization that no other place in the world will match up to that diving experience. I have similar feelings today - I might not have the privilege of learning so much, so fast, ever again. Truly grateful!
