Shreyas Doshi's World-Class Product Sense course
Stepping out of Shreyas Doshi Product Sense course (lnkd.in/eFbxv5_N) after seven very intense days, I find myself compelled to update a running list of the best investments I've made to improve my quality of life, and , in this specific case, the quality of my career.
As crazy as it might sound, I genuinely believe that the mindset shift and the skills I've developed during this last week are going to be valid and beneficial not just for the next 20-30 years, but truly, for my entire life. As well as they are quickly becoming a major differentiator in today’s era of AI, rapid change, and ambiguity.
Product Sense course is a masterclass in congruence, where the principles taught are vividly demonstrated through the course's own design and execution. Witnessing its profound effect on a global cohort of highly accomplished individuals is hard to put into words – it just feels like magic, "Very beautiful magic. Wondrous to behold!". It's elegant, it's deep, and it spans far beyond just product.
For me, the most significant shift has been an unwavering trust in my own intuition, moving beyond doubt to an intrinsic "knowing". You truly start to “see the matrix” for what it is and make better decisions for your products, company, business and yourself.
Shreyas Doshi's Improving your Product Sense course has fundamentally shifted the way I look at the world.
For any Senior PM or Product leader looking to sharpen the way they think and produce great products, I highly urge you to take this course. In my entire career I have not found a higher ROI use of my time and energy. While this week is done, I will continue to rewatch, apply and strengthen my product sense.
Thank you to Shreyas and his team for a world-class lesson on product sense!
For years, I struggled with product content. Books felt overwritten and could’ve been a memo. Podcasts were a constant parade of success stories. Courses kept promising that the next great framework would solve everything.
The Improving Product Sense (lnkd.in/d_hz2MPU) course by Shreyas Doshi, was recommended to me, but I was naturally skeptical. After finishing it, though… oh man, was I wrong. This was truly an epiphany.
It’s hard to describe the experience without spoiling the fun (blood and tears as well). It goes against the current market wisdom. It distills bits and pieces no one ever showed you, and no one else will.
And those who know me know I don’t hand out compliments lightly. But Shreyas’ teaching method makes him a true 21st-century Product Socrates.
Do it, and grow. It’ll be a gift to yourself.
I just wrapped up a big week of learning via Shreyas Doshi's Improving Your Product Sense course.
While it was intensive, it was worth every minute invested, and I feel I've genuinely leveled up my PM game in the last 8 days. It was all insightful, all authentic and all practical - which is super rare in today's corporate culture.
I'd highly recommend to my Product, Eng, Design and Founder friends: lnkd.in/dUxQk_VG
Just be prepared to check your ego at the door 🫶
ChatGPT is making me feel lazy and stupid
I was becoming overly reliant on it
that's why I set a goal for myself at the start of the year that I wanted to hone my thinking further
So how can I do that?
- Consume courses, videos, books and podcasts that help me refine the way I look at things and think better.
- Write more , either write my own thoughts or copy by hand well written pieces . Just by copying other pieces I saw myself looking at words in a very different way and pausing more to reflect
- Breakdown both successful and failed products so I can learn from it
This led me to take Shreyas Doshi improving your product sense course
I went in with no expectations and an open mind
and I was mindblown. An intense week where Shreyas breaks down what it means to think clearer, and more than 10x better
if anyone wants to get ahead with their product, strategy, and startup, I cannot but recommend this course (link in comments)
. @shreyas 's Product Sense class is the rare case when high expectations were exceeded. Truly unique - fundamentally shifts the way you think about products and about life. Transformative seems trite but is truly apt here. If you are ready - sign up here maven.com/shreyas-doshi/product-sense
I recently completed Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course, and as I begin to apply the highly actionable and practical learnings, I can already see a noticeable shift in the quality of my thinking.
My honest view: this course delivers insights and wisdom that would otherwise take decades to learn through experience alone.
If you’re in a role where your strategic thinking and creativity directly impacts outcomes — whether you’re a PM, founder, engineer, or business leader — I can’t recommend this course enough to you.
Check it out here: lnkd.in/gWz4v3ZV
I came into the Improving Your Product Sense course with Shreyas Doshi much like I do with anything that feels aligned—on the recommendation of people I trust and admire, and from the great experiences I have had with the Managing Your PM Career course. That’s the magic of creativity and the beginner’s mind: we trust our intuition, follow the synchronicity that shows up, and let it guide us to unexpected places.
At first, I thought, what more could I possibly learn?
After teaching PM and yoga, working in startups, publishing short stories, being a Julia Cameron / Michael Porter fangirl, diving into frameworks, and learning from some of the best including Shreyas, I felt like I had a lot of sense already. But this journey humbled me in ways I didn’t expect.
What truly struck me was the art of teaching and coaching. How his style evolves and takes shape in real-time. It’s something rare, watching a group of wildly successful people from all walks of experience come together and approach this course with fresh eyes. There’s a quiet power in that.
What I didn’t expect was to discover how business and creativity intersect in such a grounded, practical way of mindful awareness. This course is not something you’ll find in a book. (though if anyone wants to go deeper into some recommendations, we have the Product Club Book Club, where many have also taken this course. If you’re a fan of any works referenced, let us know, and we’ll revisit these together in the mix.)
Nicole Husain and Kate, your thoughtful course management and presence were invaluable. Thank you for making everything flow seamlessly and for reminding me of the joy in witnessing a well-choreographed dance of operations-much like my time at General Assembly in the early days.
And Shreyas Doshi , thank you. The best coaches and teachers are the ones who see something in you that you can’t quite see in yourself yet, and who help guide you toward what’s next. That’s the gift you gave me. This journey has also just been wildly fun, and I learn something new every day alongside others who are equally passionate about the craft. I’m deeply grateful for your guidance and for creating a space where growth and joy go hand in hand to win.
Now, I’m excited to continue connecting with my fellow attendees, with the Product Club book club, and with all the people who’ve been part of this journey. There’s so much ahead, and I can’t wait to cross those bridges together into new chapters.
If you’re on the fence, but something inside is calling you to take the leap for this course, listen. That voice isn’t random. It’s your creativity, your potential, urging you forward. Your future products will thank you, but more than that, you’ll thank yourself for answering the call. This isn’t just about the work. It’s about unlocking something deeper within you.
Trust the process.
Your next chapter is waiting. ✨
I've just finished the World-class Product Sense in Practice by @shreyas -- candidly it's been extremely enlightening and has demystified a lot of concepts I had picked a long the way. tbh, like with any great show, any summary wouldn't make it justice!
In 1931, German engineer Herr Richter strapped 12 rockets to his bicycle, hit 55 mph, lost control, and got thrown off as they exploded.
A lot of product work feels exactly like this - moving fast on poor thinking until something blows up.
I've been exploring a lot how to get better at product judgement. The single most valuable and complete source I found is Shreyas Doshi World Class Product Sense course.
For those on my network who've been hesitating - just go do it. I really enjoyed and highly recommend it if you want to make better product decisions.
I recently had the opportunity to attend Shreyas Doshi’s Improving Your Product Sense course alongside an exceptional cohort of product leaders and founders from around the world. It has been one of the most valuable investments I have made in my professional development—and, in many ways, personal development as well.
What stood out most was the depth and originality of the content. The course was genuinely rare: it explored nuanced aspects of product thinking that are difficult to find in public writing, conventional PM training, or day-to-day product work.
It was also deeply thought-provoking. It pushed me to question many assumptions and habits built over years of experience, clear away some of the “mental baggage” that can accumulate over time, and approach product problems with more clarity, rigor, and empathy.
Perhaps most humbling was that even within a cohort of experienced product leaders from leading technology companies, there was still so much to learn. The discussions, exercises, and prompts consistently challenged us to think more deeply about user needs, product judgment, decision-making, and what great product sense truly looks like in practice.
Shreyas is an exceptional teacher. He brings remarkable energy, precision, and intellectual generosity to the course, and his prompts are designed to make you pause, reflect, and improve the quality of your thinking—not just collect another set of frameworks.
The programme was also exceptionally well organised. A special thanks to Shreman Shrestha and Nicole Husain for creating such a smooth and thoughtful learning experience.
I would strongly recommend this course to product managers, product leaders, and founders who are looking for practical, rigorous, and highly actionable ways to sharpen their product sense.
After years of lurking on Shreyas Doshi's threads, I finally took his Product Sense course.
The hardest part? Unlearning the garbage advice we've all been marinating in. Shreyas doesn’t just hand out cookie-cutter frameworks—he teaches you how to think, not what to think. It’s like mental CrossFit for anyone who builds, leads, or solves problems for a living.
My only complaint: the name “Product Sense” undersells it. It isn’t just for Product Managers—it’s for anyone who wants to make better decisions, faster, and with less nonsense.
TL;DR: come for the “product” part, stay for the rewiring of your brain.
Shreyas Doshi's product sense is a master class that clearly breaks down what it means to do product management. After completing the course, I have a much deeper understanding of my own strengths and weaknesses as a PM and most importantly new tools to use to continue to raise my performance. I couldn't be more proud of myself for taking the step to take this course. Thank you Shreyas Doshi and team!
Recently I was part of a course — "Product Sense in Practice" — one of the very few courses I genuinely enjoyed and learned from.
Sessions were generally at night around 8:30 PM and went on for 5 hours straight. My earlier apprehension was — how would I focus so late for so long? But there would be moments where you'd be the most awake and almost at the edge of your seat.
The course teaches you to teach yourself how to improve your product thinking :P Pretty metacognitive, but that's what it's about — and also fun :)
I hope to bring justice to it by practicing, building great products, and keep training myself!
Thanks Shreyas Doshi and team for the sessions and 2 weeks of learning!!

In the reality of the endless delivery sprint, as PMs we consume more content, more frameworks, more hacks for even greater execution efficiency. All beautifully wrapped in customer centricity, of course.
In this bubble and this relentless rush — which shouldn't be hard to guess — there's less and less space for genuine reflection, and even less for deep understanding.
Shreyas Doshi didn't give me a fish, didn't even give me a rod. Most importantly, he pointed out that I should stop casting a hook in a puddle — even with the best fishing gear. And where the fish actually are.
I know, I know — every LinkedIn post is full of hot takes, humble brags and endless wisdom.
Calling it a great course would do it a disservice. This is World-Class Product Sense in practice.
This is a rewiring of the way I think.
Several things I thought I understood this week — I never actually understood at all.
Not forgotten, Not rusty, NEVER understood.
There's a difference between having a label for something and actually knowing it. Between closing a door because a question is resolved vs. closing it because you got impatient with not knowing.
We call it expertise. A lot of the time it's just a very confident placeholder. 📦
This hit me taking Shreyas Doshi's PM course on Maven this week — and it's been sitting with me since.
The blank canvas isn't where beginners start. It's where honest people return. 🎨

Wrapped up Shreyas Doshi's product sense course this weekend. It's all about working through product problems, positioning, understanding customers deeply, and thinking creatively on execution. I thought it was a great way to continue upskilling. I'd recommend it to anyone who cares about improving the quality of their thinking and sharpening their product judgment.
Just completed “World-Class Product Sense in Practice” by Shreyas Doshi, and it genuinely changed how I think about building products in the AI era.
As AI makes coding faster and more accessible, the real differentiator is no longer just execution — it’s product thinking:
understanding customer problems, defining clear product strategy, and focusing on meaningful outcomes.
A few key takeaways for me:
• Product sense is a skill that can be developed
• Great products start with deep customer understanding
• Strong product decisions balance user value, business goals, and execution realities
This course was incredibly practical, thought-provoking, and immediately applicable.
Big thanks to Shreyas Doshi and Maven for the great learning experience, and thanks to WakeCap for giving me the opportunity to level up my product skills.
Highly recommended for engineers, product managers, founders, and anyone looking to sharpen their product thinking.
Highly recommend Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense Course. Unlike courses that only teach frameworks, this helps you think better by breaking down why people want things, how to put yourselves in their shoes, and how to execute creatively.
My aha moment was training our product taste by analysing the specific creativity techniques behind successful ads and products.

Wow - worth every penny.
I had the pleasure of taking Shreyas Doshi's World-class Product Sense in Practice, and it forced me to level up where it actually matters: the quality of my thinking.
The course doesn't give frameworks - it requires how you approach problems as a Product Leader (think Mr. Miyagi). I walked away with a clearer lens on what great product judgement looks like and how to consistently build toward it. I highly recommend it.
I spent the last week living breathing Shreyas’ teaching from his product sense course. It was a live demonstration of ‘simplicity is the highest order of sophistication.’ I was reminded to use my built-in logic to experience the seemingly complex world around us. It’s simple, but it isn’t easy. This course gave me the blueprint to develop that muscle. I will develop better product sense through practice without a doubt. However, the ultimate gift here is seeing the power of clear thinking, which takes us far beyond building products 🎁
Just completed taking Product Sense course - what an experience. We might have looked at 50+ real world examples in how product decisions were made and why. Shreyas is very passionate about this course of 30+ hours. Highly recommend @shreyas !!
I'm always impressed by how much clarity Shreyas Doshi creates and then helps you learn how to create. I would recommend his World-class Product Sense in Practice course to anyone in Product.
One of my favorite takeaways was the null hypothesis. The default position is that a product is going to have no impact. It's up to you to design, build, and market the product in a way that disproves the null hypothesis.
Been a bit quiet on LinkedIn lately, so naturally the thing that got me to post was spending the past week getting up at 2am for Shreyas Doshi's World-class Product Sense in Practice class.
The course was creatively taught, packed with gems, and full of genuinely sharp insights. The null hypothesis was that I’d just keep lurking on LinkedIn, but this felt worth rejecting.
Completed Shreyas Doshi's World-Class Product Sense in Practice last week.
There were lot of good things but one idea that really stayed with me is the discipline of starting with the Null Hypothesis when evaluating a product decision. It forces you to ask: what if this idea is not actually better, and what evidence would change my mind? I like this because it is not just a better way to think for yourself, it is also a powerful way to align a team around clearer reasoning, stronger debate, and more grounded decisions.
I spent the last 2 weekends, over 30 hours with Shreyas Doshi and attending his course on World Class Product Sense in Practice. It was the most intense learning exercise that i have undertaken in over a decade. The concepts covered in the classes are a perfect decomposition of a lot of concepts the executives learn over a long career. There are no books/study material that covers this stuff.
My mind was blown many times as Shreyas covered the topics of Motivation theory, Cognitive empathy and specially how to get better at creative execution.
I have a lot of learn as i continue on my executive Journey, i am thankful to Shreyas Doshi and his team for giving me such a large push in the right direction.
Thank you 🙏
GN
I spent 30+ hours over the last two weekends in Shreyas Doshi’s World-Class Product Sense in Practice course (lnkd.in/gtr3-MeB), and it was absolutely worth it! I went in with some hesitation, but the experience exceeded my expectations.
The biggest highlights for me were the deep dives into creative execution and product strategy. What stood out most was how grounded the learning was in practical examples and real situations, with a strong emphasis on building the right skills rather than just discussing concepts.
Thank you, Shreyas Doshi
Strongly recommend product sense course for product executives from @shreyas. It systematically decomposes product sense into Cognitive Empathy, Customer Motivation, and Creativity and goes deep on how to deliberately improve across each dimension.
Shreyas Doshi breaks down product sense into a repeatable, and highly structured discipline, most importantly learnable skill with practical examples.
His product sense course is a masterclass in understanding the hidden forces behind why products win or fail with focus on motivation theory, product strategy, differentiation . Highly recommended to anyone in product roles or who want to break into the product roles.
I took Shreyas Doshi's "World-Class Product Sense in Practice" last week, and was genuinely surprised by how many things it challenged me to rethink.
It is less about learning new concepts and more about developing the quality of your thinking through practice. Full of insightful moments that sneak up on you, this is the kind of course where an example lands and suddenly a lot of what you thought you understood looks different.
There is a lot of unlearning involved as well. Assumptions you have been carrying for years about what good product work looks like, what creativity means, and what taste actually is. None of it is abstract or innate. It is the output of clear thinking practiced consistently, and Shreyas coaches you toward that using your own reasoning rather than handing you a playbook.
Still unpacking a lot of it. But if you are a PM or founder serious about raising your bar, I highly recommend it.
Last week I spent 25+ hours learning how to make better product decisions.
I was in the latest cohort of Shreyas Doshi's World-Class Product Sense course. This is not a "use this framework" course, nor is it a theory-bomb. He breaks down how the people behind your favorite products actually think about users, tradeoffs, and product decisions — in practice.
I found myself applying what I learned the very next day. If you've been on the fence (like I was), I am happy to share more. Just send me a message!

I just completed Shreyas Doshi’s Product Sense course.
It changed my understanding of what “quality of thinking” actually means in product strategy and craft.
It clarified what world-class thinking looks like. Highly recommend!
Now the work is practice!
Thank you, @shreyas!
I recently had the opportunity to attend the latest version of Shreyas Doshi World-class Product Sense in Practice, one of my last product-oriented trainings before shifting more seriously into the marketing and sales side of things as a founder.
Gotta say, this was not what I expected.
I don’t think I’ve ever participated this much in any training. Shreyas was great at pushing us to come up with our own answers instead of mindlessly reading from slides.
That really put into perspective that this was a product sense training, not a “let’s learn a bunch of processes and frameworks” training. Those obviously have their own use and time, but here the target was different: how we see, judge, and think.
That part hit hard. Turns out there is a much higher bar for how deeply I can think about product decisions.
Even though I finished the training, engaged with the content, and did the activities, it feels like the real journey is just starting. It genuinely feels like seeing the world through a different lens.
In that sense, I think the course not only achieved its goal, it returned way more value than I expected.
It’s been almost a year since I took Shreyas Doshi’s Product Sense course.
There were so many aha moments across segmentation, differentiation, strategy, and taste. Even now, I find myself going back to the slides and recording when I’m thinking through different product questions.
But one idea that I keep bringing back in my day-to-day product work -
When you’re thinking about what a user is trying to do in a specific moment, whether that’s in a strategy discussion, a design review, a PRD, or just a quick product conversation, ask two questions:
1. What is the user doing in that moment?
2. What is the user feeling in that moment?
That second question has changed how I think.
- It pushes the conversation beyond “what action should the user take?” and toward “what state is the user in, and how should the product help move that state?” Sometimes the user is anxious. Sometimes they’re unsure. Sometimes they’re trying to make progress, recover from a mistake, understand bad news, or feel confident enough to take the next step.
- The best product solution is rarely just the most mechanically efficient one.
It’s the one that helps the user accomplish the task while also moving their emotional state in the right direction.
The course has also changed how I use AI in product work. This is not an argument against using AI. I use it constantly. But LLMs can produce product answers that sound reasonable while still being generic. Product sense helps you notice what is missing. It helps you ask better questions, reject shallow answers, and guide the model with clearer judgment.
People often say AI is a multiplier. What this course helped me understand is:
Product sense determines what it multiplies.
Grateful to Shreyas Doshi for creating a course that has continued to shape how I think long after taking it.
Over the last weekend, I attended Shreyas Doshi's course on World Class Product Sense In Practice.
I have taken product courses before, but this is the one that gets you hooked, hanging on to every word he says.
One key observation that goes contrary to a lot of product advice out there - Shreyas’ “product” not only focuses on why and what, but he obsesses over the how (execution, content, delivery) as well. So, my dear fellow PM’s - if you want to take anything from this post - take this - obsess over the how as much as you obsess over the why and the what. Although I don’t think he ever said that explicitly in the course.
A thing that I always remember is one of my former bosses said to me, figure out what good looks like and then create basis that learning. Shreyas walks you through 100’s of case studies - helping the cohort understand what good looks like (even when sometimes we may think otherwise)
Another fascinating thing I observed as I was going through the course, I was equating to my own lived experiences and my biases about my journey and the path I am on etc. So, while the learning is immense, there is bias built in. And I think the course is one of those things that you should re-visit in a year or two because as time passes you invariably become a different version of self so the nuances of the subject being taught hits differently.
I recently completed Shreyas Doshi ‘s Product Sense course and it has been one of the greatest learning experiences.
The course challenges many assumptions about how we think about products and helps cultivate a much higher level of product thinking, judgment, and decision-making.
Highly recommended!
I just finished Shreyas Doshi's World-Class Product Sense in Practice. As a designer, I wasn't sure how much of it would apply to me. Turns out, more than I expected.
This is not another strategy crash course, it's an EXPERIENCE that changes my lens. Shreyas doesn't hand out any fancy frameworks. He breaks down genuinely fuzzy concepts like product sense and creativity into something I can actually learn and practice. These are ideas I'd heard a hundred times. But this is the first time I feel like I actually get the essence, not just the vocabulary.
I'm already applying it in my design work and in how I influence my team. Highly recommend, especially if you've ever felt like you *know* the right concepts but struggle to make them stick in your daily practice.
lnkd.in/gV3Sb3ji
I just finished Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course.
It was the best training on learning how to think that I've experienced. College, graduate school, corporate training, self-learning - none of it was as jam-packed with practical, deep insights as this course. Not only that, none of what he taught was "just trust me" or some framework or step-by-step recipe. I would go so far as to say it was profound and life-changing. The material on positioning, differentiation, and segmentation was immediately applicable to my business.
The way he approaches the content also creates room for personal growth. I loved his sense of humor as well. To make people laugh while challenging conventional, tightly-held beliefs is a real gift. The way he was able to keep 100+ people engaged over Slack was incredible. Shreyas is now a legend in my book. If you're considering taking it, I'd say go for it.
Thoroughly enjoyed @shreyas 's Product Sense Course over the last week.
One of the takeaways / reminders:
All frameworks and tactics are downstream from insights and clearer thinking, and there are no shortcuts to practicing to think more clearly and critically.
I took Shreyas' world-class Product Sense course last month and it blew my mind. I've been referencing it multiple times a week since then. He definitely knows what he's talking about. twitter.com/shreyas/status/2029358697835839540
Last week I completed Shreyas Doshi's course on World Class Product Sense In Practice going through multiple 7-hour sessions of lecture and Q&A across two weekends.
What I found the most compelling was the sparing use of frameworks and lack of "step by step" approaches. Instead the course focused on decomposing core concepts such as motivation, empathy and product strategy to teach us why an iPad ad was controversial, why most vision statements and north star metrics fail to align teams across a company and the thought process that birthed the birthday balloons on Twitter. In each of these examples we reasoned through the concept decompositions to arrive at the conclusions ourselves rather than simply being given the answer, which makes the course live up to its name of "in practice".
I joined Shreyas Doshi World-Class Product Manager (lnkd.in/g9sKnbSA) course with a fair amount of hesitation. Like many experienced professionals, I had already gone through several PM courses that felt overly theoretical or disconnected from the realities of day-to-day product work. I wasn’t sure if this would genuinely add value or simply repeat familiar concepts in a different format.
What stood out in this course was how deeply practical and thought-provoking it was. The learning experience goes far beyond frameworks and textbook concepts. Shreyas breaks down complex ideas around product strategy, product thinking, and product taste into tangible mental models and actionable steps that can actually be applied in real product situations.
One of the biggest strengths of the course is that it helps build judgment, not just knowledge. It changes how you think about products, customers, prioritization, and even communication. Many of the lessons extend beyond product management and become useful in personal decision-making and everyday life as well.
I would recommend for somene looking for a course that develops deeper product intuition and strategic thinking.
I took Shreyas Doshi's World Class Product Sense in Practice course to get sharper and to find better tools for developing the PMs on my team. The framing of product taste as a trainable skill was the one that stuck. I'd been treating it like something you develop slowly through osmosis. Shreyas teases out the real structure underneath, and it's already changing how I give feedback, run design reviews, and coach people through hard tradeoffs. It was a dense course, took a lot of effort to make the space for it, and was worth every moment.
Just completed Shreyas Doshi's "World-class Product Sense in Practice" course on Maven.
This has been a transformative experience with loads of practical learnings that will for sure 10x your critical thinking ability & product management skill. 🧠
Loved the candid teaching style and would 100% recommend.
"World-class Product Sense in Practice" by Shreyas completely shifted my mindset on PM and raised my ceiling for what’s possible. While closing the gap between theory and reality is a challenge, I’m focusing on nurturing the right mindset myself first. Truly transformative. 🚀
Experiencing Shreyas Doshi's magnum opus, World-class Product Sense in Practice, has an emergent property to it.
It sharpens how you think, not just what you know. Product judgment, cognitive empathy, creative execution become not fuzzy concepts to memorise (or lament about not having the innate skill for) but living systems to internalise - democratically, if you put in the work. And threading through all of it: clarity over complexity, always.
It's not just the course content, the pedagogical style, his ability to intercept at just the right moments to make you lock in (for 7ish straight hours sometimes), the pivotal epiphanies he surfaces and insists you percolate on (and they land, to be honest), the way he assuages doubt and disbelief through layered logic or lived experiences, his or the cohort's (best example of cognitive empathy at play during the course itself!). It's also the somewhat organic, somewhat seeded dynamic that emerges among participants that makes it all the more alive and invigorating even at ungodly hours for us Asian folks.
The collective becomes one of the purest forms of learning for the sake of learning alone. No pretences, no competition, no one-upping. And somewhere in that, you shed all interference you may have accumulated in your journey so far.
It's been a while since I've felt this quality of satisfaction. Maybe ever. ROI: profound.
Now comes the harder part: deliberate practice of all that I have accumulated and unlearnt during the last 8 very intense, very fulfilling days.
P.S. I will miss Bob and Alice.
Finished Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course today. I almost didn't sign up. What pulled me in was the product taste section and a comment/post from Lenny Rachitsky, but everything else gave me pause: the cost, a week of real time, and the fact that I'm deep in iLab with The Batten Institute @ UVA Darden School of Business right now where every thread is competing for the same founder energy. My honest worry was that I'd spend the money and the hours and walk away with storytelling fluff.
Grateful that's not what happened. I enjoyed every moment of it. The live cohort did as much for me as Shreyas's coaching style and his well-prepared material. Oftentimes he'd pose a question, the Zoom chat would fill with rows of answers, a wide range of how others framed the same problem, and then he'd challenge all of our assumptions. I kept noticing my own thinking was narrower than I assumed.
The clearest sign it was worth it was how practical it was, and how fast it showed up in my own work. The day after D2, I was in a TendCo meeting and caught myself having already reframed a usual thought process into a different route, without trying to. Small thing, but it told me I'm actually starting to retrain my internal model.
So on ROI: for the cost and the timing, it gave me a genuinely different perspective and trained my thinking hard over a short stretch.
Worth it? For me, yes.

I recently finished Shreyas Doshi’s Product Sense course, and I can honestly say it changed the way I think.
It was unlearning a certain way of thinking about product. This course helped me slow down. It helped me think more clearly about customers, context, tradeoffs, judgment, taste and the quality of decisions we make when there is no obvious answer. What I appreciated most was how practical and honest the course felt. It felt like someone finally put words to the things great PMs quietly observe, practice, and improve over time.
I am walking away with a better lens for product, more clarity in how I want to think, and more confidence in the kind of product person I want to become.
Grateful to Shreyas Doshi for creating such a thoughtful learning experience. I would genuinely recommend it to anyone who wants to sharpen their product thinking.

Just completed Shreyas Doshi's "World Class Product Sense" course, and I'm genuinely surprised by how much it shifted my thinking.
I went in skeptical about sitting through 4+ hours of daily lectures for a week straight. I was wrong. I was completely absorbed—partly in learning, but mostly in unlearning the conventional wisdom I'd been carrying.
What stuck with me: every single concept opened up new angles to explore and apply immediately. You start seeing products, features, and strategy decisions differently when you understand the mental models Shreyas breaks down.
If you're serious about product strategy and want to develop real product sense (not just best practices), this is worth your time.
This week, I completed Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course.
It's the most powerful product course I've ever taken. Unlike many of the framework-driven approaches we've been taught throughout our careers as Product Managers, Shreyas teaches you how to see the world through the lens of Product Sense - and that changes the game.
The entire course is highly practical. In fact, I was able to apply several concepts to my work the very next day. It's not only about learning how to uncover customer motivations in a deeper and more effective way, but also about understanding yourself better so you can apply these skills more effectively.
I was initially skeptical about being in a virtual classroom with more than 100 students, but it turned out to be a great experience. The quality of the discussions and questions challenged my thinking and accelerated my learning.
If you're looking to increase your impact as a product leader or take the next step in your product career, I highly recommend giving this course a try.
I’ve just finished Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course. lnkd.in/g73hfkc9
Rather than just sharing frameworks, Shreyas breaks down how he thinks. That level of transparency is rare. It's delivered in a high-pace, high-energy, high-humour (so many jokes), high-engagement way. I appreciated the structure, depth, craft that went in to creating the course and the laughs along the way (which is what you'd expect from a world-class product person). Thanks Shreyas Doshi!
Recently completed Shreyas Doshi’s Product Sense / World Class Product Management course. It is one of the few courses that genuinely changes how you think about product decision and strategy.
What stood out most was the focus on judgment, clarity of thought, and first-principles thinking over generic PM frameworks.
A few key takeaways for me:
• understanding user behaviour and motivations
• creativity process in everyday life
• how to keep training your LLM
As someone working on platform and communication products, I found many concepts immediately applicable to simplifying complexity and making better product decisions.
Definitely one of the highest signal learning investments I’ve made recently.

Most courses hand you a playbook. This one dismantled mine.
No frameworks, no "top 5 tips" - just honest, uncomfortable work on how you actually think. Creativity. Taste. Judgment.
Going back to the recordings every few months. @shreyas - thanks for world class product sense !
I just completed @shreyas's World Class Product Sense in Practice (every word in the name is intentional) and this is probably the only time in my life where I had so many aha moments in a week's time. If you want to take your product sense to the next level, definitely go for it
Last week I took Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense class, and I left humbled. I've been building products long enough that I don't often feel like a beginner, but I did last week in the best possible way. This class reminded me how much better I can be, and it was energizing.
I'll be spending the coming months incorporating what I learned in the course because I know there are skills to sharpen, questions to ask, and critical thinking to develop.
I love AI, but this course was a good reminder that I outsource too much of my thinking to it. I need to keep developing my own mind and instincts because the best product work (really, the best thinking) comes from pushing past what's comfortable and resisting the shortcut.
If you've been thinking about taking the course, do it. You won't regret it.
You can have the most advanced algorithms on the planet, but if you don’t pack them in a clean, user-friendly, intuitive product, you will certainly fall short of your potential impact.
This was my first real lesson moving from academia to Ento. Since then, I’ve spent three years down the rabbit hole of deeply understanding our customers, reading, listening, studying what it takes to make a world-class product.
But nothing comes close to what I've absorbed in the past week at Shreyas Doshi's World-class Product Sense in Practice course.
I won't try to summarize what's inside. You have to go through it yourself. But if you build products and want to see how high the ceiling actually is, take the course.
Thanks Shreyas for an incredible week.
I recently completed Shreyas Doshi's “World-class Product Sense in Practice”: 25+ hours of live working sessions focused on unlearning assumptions, examining my own biases, sharpening product reasoning, and learning how to keep improving something as abstract as product taste.
Worth your time if you’re a senior or principal IC PM, product leader, or founder who is well past the basics and still wants to get better.
I think that as AI takes over more of the execution, the edge for product leaders will shift to judgment: knowing what to trust, what to challenge, and how to read customers beyond what the data says. I believe the real differentiator will be the ability to distinguish average from great, and when to push beyond the obvious answers.
If you’re considering the course and want a candid take on my experience, feel free to reach out.
I'm a bit late in posting this, but I was part of the May cohort of Shreyas Doshi's "World Class Product Sense in Practice" course and really enjoyed the deeply practical learning experience it offered. A lot of heavy content was covered in just over a week, and I'll naturally be processing and applying it over the coming weeks and months and beyond. What stood out most for me was the course's focus on skill-building and improving the quality of thinking over abstract frameworks, utilizing thorough teardowns and going over the "why" and the "how" of diverse real-world examples through product lens.
A big cheer to Bianca Metzelaar for her support through the course - I'll make sure it pays off.
Excited to have completed the “World-Class Product Sense in Practice” course by Maven.
It was a great experience learning more about product thinking, creativity techniques, and building user-centered products alongside professionals from different industries. Special thanks to Shreyas Doshi for the insightful sessions and engaging discussions throughout the course.
Also grateful to WakeCap for giving me the opportunity to be part of this learning journey and continue growing in the product space.
I find myself coming back to this one course in the last few months - not only because of the content but how I get a new idea about my work everytime I rewatch it. Highly recommend @shreyas 's World Class Product Sense.
Just completed World-class Product Sense in Practice course by Shreyas Doshi. Going in, I thought I'd pick up a few useful ideas that would be applicable for work. What I didn't expect was to have so many assumptions about building products taken apart, and relearn the craft from the ground up.
Shreyas shows you the way without ever making it feel like a lecture. You leave each session a little less sure of things you used to take for granted, which sounds uncomfortable but is exactly the point. The course is demanding and it expects you to do your own thinking rather than follow a process, and that's what makes it worth the time. Easily the most valuable thing I've done for my craft in a long while.
Highly highly recommended! lnkd.in/gyrxAfa6
Just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi's World-Class Product Sense in Practice and it genuinely shifted how I think. I've followed his writing for years and thought I had a decent handle on product thinking until I took the course. If you're a PM who wants to think more clearly and not just collect more frameworks, highly recommend this course.
I just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi’s "World-class Product Sense in Practice" course.
If you're looking for standard PM frameworks, this isn't it. The real value was in unlearning bad habits and challenging our own assumptions.Instead of giving you a checklist, it trains your core thought process.
Highly recommend it if you want to genuinely sharpen your product intuition.
Just wrapped up @shreyas Product Sense course. I can absolutely say my brain has been rewired in 1 week. This course isn't a shortcut to anything but high quality thinking. Definitely recommend to product and founder friends.
Just finished @shreyas’s Product Sense course.
Not a typical product course. It’s product-thinking reconstitution. You leave with better questions, and sharper judgment. I felt like a reset on how to think about customers, strategy, taste, and creativity.
Highly recommend.
Wrapped up Shreyas Doshi's 8-day intensive "Product Sense" Course.
The best designers I know don't just think about user experience, they think deeply about the product itself.
As I've grown in my career, I've realized that the most important design conversations aren't always about flows, interactions, or visual design. They're about customer needs, product direction, tradeoffs, priorities, and ultimately, what should be built in the first place.
What I appreciate about working at eBay is that design has a genuine seat at the table. We're not just helping shape how products are built, we also help shape what gets built and why. Sharpening my product sense felt like a natural extension of that responsibility.
I went into the course wondering how relevant it would be for a designer. I came out surprised by how much it subtly changed the way I think in just eight days.
In design, we often talk about drawing inspiration from unexpected places and looking beyond our immediate domain. One of my biggest takeaways was realizing that the same principle applies to building great products. Great product thinking doesn't happen in isolation. It comes from observing the world, connecting ideas across disciplines, and learning from places others might overlook.
A special thank you to Harish Chandrasekaran for introducing me to this course and for being an incredible mentor. You always seem to know exactly what opportunities will help me grow, often before I do myself.
I just completed the 8-day product sense course with Shreyas Doshi [lnkd.in/geQpry-r]. As an IC PM, I loved that it was not “product management training” and instead focused on the underlying components of what it takes to build great products. Everything about the class was highly practical with case examples and real world concepts instead of the usual frameworks, platitudes, and process steps that are widely known and rarely work. I have already started to shift my thinking, stepping back to ask What am I really trying to do before prompting, researching, prioritizing. The course pushed me to unlearn my habit of attempting to be clever (I found myself doing this over and over in the case studies). It’s too early to say how it changes how I work but I have a feeling it’s going to provide me with a lot more leverage to improve our products at ServiceTitan.
Just completed @shreyas's Product Sense Course. It doesn't get more practical than this. You walk away with knowledge you can apply the next day, knowing your chances of winning have improved drastically. Highly recommend for product people.
Just completed Shreyas Doshi's World Class Product Sense Class.
Not the typical style of lecturing, rather it was thought provoking and reinforcing how the fundamental principles apply to all situations.
These product sense principles can be applied to all walks of life and we saw many practical case studies, tearing down artefacts and deep dive analysis and simulation of the entire thought process.
Just wrapped up Shreyas Doshi's World Class Product Sense course on Maven: lnkd.in/eq7qHU6S
25+ live hours over the last week. The most intensive PM course I've taken, and the one that's shifted how I think the most!
Shreyas manages to masterfully unpack complex things in a very simple and straightforward way. What I appreciated the most is the clarity and the actionability of his teaching.
Now, I have a lot of things to review and to practice, practice, practice :).
I spent the last week in an intensive course on product sense from Shreyas Doshi .
I had been operating on "moving fast" and "having a strong opinion" and considered those signs of good judgment. This week made me realize how often that speed was actually a way of skipping the harder, slower work of really understanding what I'm trying to solve, for whom, and why. I was shown what the slower version actually looks like in practice.
A few reflections I'm taking forward:
⭐ Clarity is a skill, not a personality trait. It can be built deliberately, the same way you'd build any other capability.
📔 Most of the frameworks I'd picked up over the years were useful for *explaining* a decision after the fact — not for actually *making* a better one.
📗 Slowing down doesn't mean being less decisive. It means being decisive about the right things.
Grateful to my leadership at Zillow for believing in continued skill-building, and to Jen Zagofsky who pointed me toward investing in this kind of skill in the first place — advice that's quietly shaped a lot of decisions since then 😁
Sometimes life gives you an experience that’s hard to put into words; you simply have to live it.
Honestly, I never expected to say that about a product course, but Shreyas Doshi’s World Class Product Sense in Practice changes things.
The depth and breadth of practical product thinking covered over the last eight days was nothing short of incredible.
This course will both reinforce and challenge what you think you know about product strategy (often in the same breath). Shreyas shares a goldmine of actionable tips and tactics while encouraging you to think more deeply. It’s this “permission to think” that makes the course special.
It’s not frameworks. It’s not theory. It’s you building the strategic mental muscle to win.
This course will change the way you think; and, in doing so, change you.
I can’t recommend this experience enough to founders and product leaders who are serious about building and shipping things that matter.

I just completed Shreyas Doshi's World-class Product Sense course and it genuinely radicalized how I think about product.
There were no frameworks or templates. Instead, I had to actually think and decompose problems to their essence and challenge the assumptions I'd been carrying all along.
This is the kind of thinking that doesn't expire. I plan to revisit this material for years to come.
I'm very grateful to Shreyas, the course team, and the peers who made this experience even more engaging and valuable. 🙌
I completed @shreyas “World Class Product Sense in Practice”. This was a truly enlightening course. Helped me realize the critical importance of clear thinking. Shreyas is wise and a superb teacher. If you have been on the fence about this course, hurry and buy this!
Just finished Shreyas Doshi's awesome course, World-class Product Sense in Practice. 10/10 would recommend.
Of course you'll learn everything mentioned in the syllabus, but you'll also learn:
- How can balloon popping save you years of navigating corporate politics?
- Which data structure is an excellent model for creativity?
- What's on the market map on page 6? (is it enlightenment?)
- What can you learn from a fancy executive strategy dinner at Flour + Water?
I promise you've never been so excited for an 8am Zoom call.
I just wrapped up ‘World Class Product Sense in Practice’ - an intense yet deeply satisfying workout for my product muscle.
What stood out for me was how Shreyas emphasizes deep, critical thinking and delivers course material that’s both practical and real. And learning alongside top product minds from across the world made the experience truly unique.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to sharpen their product skills!
Huge thanks to Shreyas and team for delivering a 10/10 course!
I recently completed Shreyas Doshi's World Class Product Sense in Practice - the most substantive PM course I've come across.
What stood out was the depth of thinking around some of the core parts of product management: understanding and predicting user behaviour, product strategy, and creative problem solving. The emphasis throughout was on practical application rather than surface-level advice.
Recommended for experienced PMs, product leaders, founders, UI/UX designers, and marketers.
I recently finished Shreyas Doshi World-class Product Sense in Practice Course, and it felt like a pivotal moment in my career as a product leader.
After 5+ years in product roles, this was a reset, a real stop and reflect moment on the way I think about product management and strategy. It wasn't like the product trainings I'd taken before. No frameworks, no theory. It was 40+ hours of practical training on how to think about product, users, taste, and differentiation.
I'm already starting to see it show up in the micro decisions in my day to day. It's given me the pause to slow down when I tackle a problem, to think about the user and what we're actually trying to accomplish.
I also really appreciated Shreyas's engagement with a group of more than 100 of us over the last two weeks. There wasn't a single moment in the class where I felt it didn't apply to some aspect of my work, and honestly my life.
If you're a product leader, work with product teams, or feel like challenging the traditional step by step guides on how to solve problems, this course is for you. If you're considering it and want a firsthand take, feel free to reach out.
Just finished Shreyas Product Sense course.
Not your typical course. He goes beyond the usual frameworks and really challenges you to think critically about users and product decisions.
Years of PM experience and it still sharpened my thinking.
If you work in product, highly recommend.
Just completed Shreyas Doshi’s course on product sense.
It’s been a great experience to be able to put words to concepts that hadn’t been clearly defined or articulated.
Highly recommend this course for someone looking to sharpen their product instincts to set themselves apart - especially in a world where AI can do most things reasonably well.
Thanks, Shreyas and team, for such a thoughtful and enlightening experience. 🙏🏽
What I learned over the last few weekends easily surpasses much of what I’ve picked up across my entire product career.
I just completed Shreyas’s Product Sense course, and it truly lives up to its title. I’ve rarely come across a course that brings together so many relevant and practical product management concepts in one place.
What stood out most was how clearly and simply Shreyas explains complex product ideas using relatable examples throughout.
I would definitely recommend this course.
World class product sense in practice. @shreyas delivered on every single word in the title of his course. After waiting for a little over 2 years (pretty much since it came out, I took his class) and loved every minute of it!
Highly recommend
Product sense is often treated as something mystical that some PMs simply “have.”
A useful framing from lnkd.in/gTZWZkcD by Shreyas Doshi is that product sense can be decomposed into practices like cognitive empathy, motivation theory, creative execution, and product taste. One way to think about it: you’re training your own internal LLM. The signals you train on ultimately determine the quality of decisions you make. Highly recommend.
I don’t usually post about courses, but this one felt worth sharing.
I spent the last two weekends (30+ hours) attending World-Class Product Sense in Practice by Shreyas Doshi , and it genuinely changed how I think about products.
The word that stayed with me is “enlightening”.
What stood out wasn’t frameworks or templates, but the focus on thinking clearly. Understanding motivation, sharpening judgement, and learning how to break down problems properly. It also made me realise how much of my thinking was borrowed or unexamined.
I’ve already started noticing small shifts in how I approach decisions and conversations at work.
It’s one of those experiences that’s hard to summarise. You probably have to go through it to fully appreciate it. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to become a better product person.
I am grateful for the nudge to think better.
I just completed Shreyas Doshi's "World-class Product Sense in Practice" course. An intense and enlightening ride!
Shreyas takes his craft extremely seriously, both in terms of material and the delivery. 'Serious' here does not mean 'dry', it means deliberate pedagogy that means you can't help but learn and embed what's being taught, all whilst leaving room for many laugh-out-loud moments along the way. 😂
Having followed Shreyas for ~a year, I had strong conviction of positive ROI, and on many levels, it will smash that. And, because of the nature of what is taught and HOW it's taught, there is both an immediate payoff and a massively compounding payoff going forward. 🔥
An immense thank you to Shreyas, and the rest of the cohort! 🙏
Completed 'World-class Product Sense in Practice' by Shreyas Doshi on Maven. It lived up to expectations.
Note that this course is not for everyone. Most of the ideas and concepts shared are fairly deep and very advanced. If you are really serious about PM craft, this one is worth your time and energy.
#ProductManagement #ProductSense #PMCraft
Just finished @shreyas's Product Sense course. I've done HBS, BCG, and years of exec education. This hit different. Not because of the frameworks (though BTD and Null Hypothesis are exceptional) — but because I caught myself applying them to real decisions
during the sessions.
Last week, I had the pleasure of taking Shreyas Doshi’s World-class Product Sense in Practice course.
It's impressive how much you can learn in such a short time and how rare it is to find a program that focuses so heavily on the actual work of a PM rather than just the theory, I really can't emphasize the "in Practice" part enough.
Huge thanks to Shreyas for the insights!
Breaking my Twitter silence for this one -
Just finished @shreyas Improving Product Sense course. Was a hectic busy week. It really cuts through the usual fluff in product to offer practical, high-quality insights.
Highly recommend!!
(Now on to applying those learnings :))
Spent an intense week meditating with @shreyas on all things product. He might be the Marcus Aurelius of product thinking.
It's a journey, and as Arthur Ashe says: "Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can."
The teacher has appeared, will you be a student?
I recently completed Shreyas Doshi ‘s Product Sense course and it has been one of the greatest learning experiences.
The course challenges many assumptions about how we think about products and helps cultivate a much higher level of product thinking, judgment, and decision-making.
Highly recommended!
Wrapped up World-class Product Sense in Practice by @shreyas today. Genuinely one of the most intense and content-rich courses I’ve done as a product leader. Every session challenged how I think about product. If you lead product and haven’t taken it — put it on your list.
just finished @shreyas' Product sense course. Worth the time commitment. Many things that you are asked to do as product professional don't have a clear path or a guide. This course helps you navigate that path.
Wasn't aware he was part of the twitter balloons idea. It definitely was one of the moments that made it worth the effort.
Just wrapped up @shreyas Product Sense course — and wow, what a ride.Intense, thought-provoking, and deeply actionable. One of those rare experiences that genuinely sharpens how you think.
Highly recommend it to anyone serious about leveling up in product🚀
