I've used Snugs for over six years now. I use them primarily as an in-ear monitor, as I'm a professional working musician and need ample protection (I'm a loud drummer!). What I really like most is that the in-ear tips are removable, so if the driver fails you can just take the tip off and put them onto a spare pair. This is also far more cost effective overall as you can essentially choose what monitor you're using, the Snugs will fit just as good regardless. I also use their earplugs (white filter, really good and considerably transparent) which work very well. My first pair of Snugs lasted six years (technically... they still work!) and I've only recently upgraded to a brand new pair, both for monitoring and general protection (eg for sound work, where long-term comfort and transparency are essential). The customer service is superb and here's how: when I first ordered my snugs over six years ago, the first two impressions weren't quite right, but the third was the magic fit; they honoured their promise to make sure I was satisfied. More recently, the manufacturer made an error with the engraving I requested. Snugs made sure I got the correct engraving made. I very strongly reccomend them given the quality (and flexibility and cost-effectiveness) of their product/s. And also their excellent customer service which on both occasions made sure I was completely happy with my Snugs.

I have been using my Zen earplugs for a couple of weeks now and am very impressed. They are extremely comfortable to wear throughout the night and they do block out a considerable amount of noise. My sleep has definitely improved

I have long hair which needs lots of water and shampoo and conditioner. I also have a perforated eardrum.

Despite my first set of Snugs getting lost by the courier, and the anticipation of receiving them being massively prolonged as a result. When the replacement set finally arrived I was thrilled, what a difference vs the vendor supplied sleeves! (e.g. Shure sleeves). I am now looking to purchase a second set.

As a motorbiker, these are by far the best in ear headphones I've found. Because they go quite deep into the ear canal engine or wind noise is not a problem so you can quite happily listen to podcasts or music as you enjoy the freedom of the open road!

So I was told by my friends that once you get custom moulds you’ll never go back.
I didn’t even manage to put them in properly and thought this is so much better. When I actually learnt how to put them in properly and get that isolation I was genuinely amazed.
No more does it fall out during singing or head banging, and it’s just such a comfy fit.
Snugs also has been fantastic, great customer service and just great all round

What a great product! Just received my third set since 2019. As usual, a perfect fit. Never a worry about them falling out during any activity. Even great for sleeping while listening to music or podcasts. Somewhat pricey but well worth the money!

Snugs hearing protection has been life changing for me. I have had a lifetime of sensory struggles, just suffering though, prior to a diagnosis of Autism. Given a renewed confidence to take action of my discomfort, I sought out discrete hearing protection. I note discrete, but also wearing ear defenders can be rather pressing on the top of the head; I had tried more generic alternatives like foam, wax, Bollsen, Loops, even other custom hearing protection companies! Receiving my Snugs was like Goldilocks getting her perfect porridge.
Prior to going to Snugs, I went through a traumatising effort with other companies that left me feeling hopeless in wanting discrete sound reduction. Emma, Michelle, and Sarah are some beautifully kind and patient individuals. They have been so helpful and I feel heard and respected. I chose ear protection with removable filters so I can change filters based on my settings. The team labeled all the filters for me and I have been exploring which to use based on the environment I am/will be in, from walking down a street with vehicles driving on wet pavement, visiting a pub with music, even being in a space where multiple conversations coexist! I am finding my Snugs are helping handle the environment AND my neuro response to reducing stimulation. This picture shows me at Edinburgh's Tattoo, with fireworks. I am a member of an amateur theatre and run a beer festival. I was fed up with standard earpiece tips as I found them uncomfortable and they kept falling out of my ears. My SnugsPro Coiled Acoustic Eartube is excellent. I have worn it for a Duty shift at the theatre and it was really comfortable, provided sound isolation and didn't fall out once! I am looking forward to more shifts wearing my SnugsPro!

I love my Snugs! I bought some Snugs Pro tips late last year, and they are by far the best fitting earphone tips I have ever owned. Noise isolation and audio quality have both been improved leaps and bounds compared to the stock earphone tips I was using previously. Well worth the investment!

I’d spent near on 15 years buying multiple brands of headphones to try, for them to keep falling out of my small ears and onto the next. Since having snugs, going on for 3 years now, they have been amazing. The fit doesn’t feel like I am wearing anything! A great investment in my opinion, and I’m saving up for a wireless version now.

Perfect solutions for the whole family!
As a family we use a range of the Snugs products - mainly Zen and Aqua and we love them! I use the Aqua Protect and Aqua Music when I’m windsurfing as recommended by my ENT consultant to protect my ears from further Surfers’ Ear damage and they are working a treat. After regularly struggling with ear infections, I haven’t had any since I started using Snugs Aqua. In the last three months I’ve spent over 100 hours on the water and used my snugs for every session - I love them, they’re super comfy and the new filters in the snugs protect mean I can hear people talk whilst the snugs are in my ears and I don’t have to take them out at all. The safety leash is also very helpful as I can attach them to my wetsuit or harness when not in use so I don’t loose them. The Snugs Aqua Music are a game changer for race training sessions on my own or with a couple of friends and I can get the tunes on and get pumped! At first I tended not to wear them when it was super busy on the water, or with only one ear in so I can hear other people around me but after using them for a while I have got used to it and can still hear the background noise of other people if I don’t have the music too loud. 100% would recommend! As for the Snugs Zen, they definitely saved my parents marriage! My Dad (as much as I love him) snores like an airplane taking off and my poor mum was being woken up every night for 23 years+! She’s been using the Snugs Zen for the last 2 years after trying wax self- moulding plugs which used to hurt her ears and fall out. They can now sleep in the same bed again and mum often says Snugs saved her marriage! They are miracle workers and she has ordered a second pair as she’s paranoid about loosing them! We love the snugs products and are so grateful to Hearing Matters for referring us to the products!

SnugsZen: best earplugs for sleeping for me. Fit is almost perfect, needs a little moisture to plug in. Than they just stay where they should. It does not matter, which position you are sleeping - also perfect for side-sleepers. The pressure in the ear during the night is bearable. Using them for more than a week now and enjoying the silence. Order and delivery: flawless.

I use the snugs with my Bose Proflight headset most days.. extremely comfortable and enhances the noise reduction quality of the headset which reduces fatigue and hence aids flight safety. Highly recommended.

Saved my ears
I use these religiously for work (event photography and filming). I had always struggled to find ear plugs that fit because my ears are tiny, but these fit perfectly. I'm still able to enjoy the music without it muffling the sound & I am saved from ringing ears the next day. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I've already got the SnugsPro with my Bose SoundSport for a year now and I really enjoy when I go for a run. I am not worried about them falling out of my ears. I've recently ordered some SnugsMoto (Music) and SnugsMoto (Protect) and the company where really friendly and help me out to ensure they were the right fit. I've ridden a couple of times and no complaints with the helmets on, it didn't bother me at all! I could wear them all day long! It does reduce the wind and engine noise which make a big difference on long rides. A must have, if you want to preserve your ears! Also, you can still hear!

It was all about fit for me
I had to concerns prior purchasing the snugs, first been the connection between the snug and the earbud (Sony WF-1000XM3), and secondly the accuracy of the mould undertaken by a third-party. I needn’t have worried about either, the moulds (snugs) fit perfectly, as to my buds which click perfectly into place creating a tight seal.

A local company a few mins away from me refused to help me due to my surgeries and actually threw my impressions away! So, I contacted Snugs and it was the best thing I ever did. They offered to help straight away and sent me my first pair. These things DO NOT FALL OUT, no matter how crazy I go onstage! They have continued to help me ever since, even replacing my first pair when they got stolen on tour. I'm very happy with my Snugs IEM's and my Snugs for my Sennheiser Momentum II earbuds and plan on going back for more pairs in the future!

I received my swimming snugs last week and have used them 3 times now They are brilliant! No water gets in my ears at all so post swimming there is no head tipping, ear plunging etc! The lanyard is the perfect length so I can tuck them into the top if my swimming costume for extra safety. I love that one is red for right and one is blue. As you can tell I am delighted! I rarely write reviews either 😁

Absolute fantastic service, great products and a pleasure to use
After loosing a custom pair of moulded ear plugs I needed a new pair quite quickly. The previous company were no longer supplying my ones so after trying various places a local audiologist suggested I looked at Snugs website. Living in Taunton, Somerset, Snugs HQ was only 40 minutes drive a way. I found the website very easy to navigate and found the product range extensive. The list of audiologists available to have ear impressions was very extensive, but what clinched it was the fact that I could go the the Snugs HQ for the impressions to be taken. I purchased two products, the SungsShield and the SungsZen. During the impression stage we were aware that my ear canal was a particularly difficult shape and this may impact on the suitability of the product. On arrival of the finished products, one was not fitting to well, and inline with the guarantee, no quibble this was changed for me. I have even purchased some additional filters to help. My experience of Snugs is absolutely fantastic. The two ladies who run the business are amazing. Their customer focus, attention to detail is just first class. You can really tell that they put the customer first and certainly try and help if something does go wrong. I would certainly use them again. Their products are certainly cheaper than my previous custom made ear defenders but I would not say that this has in anyway compromised on the performance. I appreciate every review is subjective, but my experience has been very positive and I am extremely pleased with the positive, professional and clearly passionate way the business is run.

Apart from the astonishing improvement in the sound quality from a base that was already pretty special, they are very comfortable over hours of use, really easy to get in and the isolation is total. I only used the supplied lubricant once and I can now get them in without it in a couple of seconds. The service from start to finish was faultless, after the impressions were taken at Hidden Hearing, I sent them back free post and had them back in less than 2 weeks, the Andromeda's are an awkward shape but they fit like a glove. I would recommend them to any one, so much better than any top end ear bud I have used with all my in ear head phones over the last 10 years.

My first time with custom-fitted IEMs. I had Shure 215 drivers that I could never get to fit right with generic tips, so decided to splurge on Snugs. I had to meet with an audiologist to get the impressions done ($100), but the process was quick and painless. Snugs turns the impressions into custom-fit tips fairly quickly and I had them within two weeks. I ordered SnugsPro IEM tips in green. and they are indeed solid green! My name was lettered on each tip, in red ink (R ear) and black ink (L ear), so they shouldn't get lost. So far, I've used my Snugs mostly with an iPod at the gym and they definitely fit and stay in my ears. It takes a week or so of regular use to be comfortable putting them in and removing them. There's kind-of a "twist" involved to "corkscrew" the Snugs into the helix of your outer ear so that they don't fall out. The sound isolation is substantial, so you don't want to wear them walking down the street or any place where you need to be aware of your surroundings. Sound quality will obviously vary with your drivers and preferences, but was as good as any headphones/earphones I've ever owned. I've worn them for only an hour or so at a time, so it's hard to tell if there will be any fatigue, but they seem very comfortable.

Image & soundstage improvement! I’m wanting to write to let you know how pleased I am with my new Snugs. Some background, I tend to use my Snugs when I travel, which I do quite a lot with work, being able to listen to music, podcasts etc is a great way to pass hours on trains and planes. My iPhone XR is also my music player, I used to carry a separate music player, but the advent of services like Tidal have meant I simply download favourite tracks to the phone, and I’ve an Audioquest Dragonfly Red I plug into the phone, which has a good enough output to drive my inefficient RHA CL750’s. One of the things I love about the CL750’s is their open and fast presentation, to me they have slight dip in their sound balance in the mid-range which gives the impression of being detailed, but I’ve learnt that is an impression…enjoyable though. The Dragonfly is so much better than using the phone, in comparison it’s got more drive, detail and together with the RHA’s they do give a remarkable feeling of “soundstage” and in that I mean that when you close your eyes it has the sound presented all around you, really quite an immersive experience. My problem is that I’ve never found an ear tip in the bunch that RHA supply that I really get on with, so the Snugs seemed like a good option for long term comfort. They do fit so well…a slightly strange experience upon first usage…oh and the isolation from carriage noise on the train is really good, I’ll get to test on a plane in a couple of weeks…but what has really floored me is the change and the improvement on the soundstage/image I perceive when I listen. I expected the bass to be better, because of the better seal, and it is much punchier, with a real feeling of precision, but what has really surprised me is the mid-range…male voices especially have more body, and presence, and weirdly the immersive soundstage has gained a really "locked" feel, every sound is so much better located and stable with a less vague overall presentation. To give some sort of reference - Steven Wilsons album To The Bone has a track I really love called Pariah, with a cool vocal harmony and various effects…these effects were a weird “wash" before the Snugs, now they’re transformed and seem to pan across the mix…amazing…my only guess is the high-frequency details were being lost by the lack of seal to my ears, now the whole acoustic is more controlled…I guess because I’m blocking out the noise from the environment I’m just hearing more of what’s in the recording. Anyway, I’m delighted! Thanks

I got replacement items that addressed my issue in less than 3 weeks. (Given that these are a custom made product that is a good turnaround). Very hard to fault this product. I have bought moulds from Snugs before and they have not let me down. Great fit and, crucially, there is a reassuring bond with the earphones - in my case the Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling ones. I don't think the benefit of the moulds is quite as much as with non-noise cancelling earphones, the combination of which I have had in the past. It may not be an issue to some but I thought I should mention it. The moulds are still a five star product, in my opinion.

I bought a pair of Sennheiser IE800 and they were always falling out so I did some research online and found snugs. I contacted snugs and paid them and then I was sent to an audiologist to get my impressions done in Dublin. This process was very straight forward then they were sent to Snugs. A few weeks later I received my snugs and went about using them. I had an issue with the drivers not really staying in so I contacted snugs and their customer support was absolutely brilliant. I explained the issue and they redesigned the snugs so that the IE800 driver was housed more into the snugs and then shipped back to me at no extra cost. I received the new snugs and absolutely delighted they fit perfect. I’m just so happy how their customer support emailed me back straight way and wanted to find a solution to my issue and fixed my issue. Other companies should take note of this excellent customer service. I will definitely be using snugs in the future as I do buy a lot of IEMs.

Great fit and comfortable. Great quality. This is the third pair of Snugs I've purchased. These were for the Apple Air Pod Pro (2). Unfortunately, you cannot charge the AirPods with the Snug tips attached. That's what prevents me from giving a 5-star rating. Hopefully, the Snugs will accept the constant cycling on and off the AirPods. Shipping is not super-fast since the tips are made in the UK, but I was prepared for that.

The Snugs earphones arrived promptly and I like the concept of the custom made earphones, they fit perfectly in your ear cavity. They are light, comfortable and easy to use. The Bluetooth neck bit is very bendy so you can adjust how you want to wear it. The volume on my phone was all the way down for Bluetooth, and as advertised, you don't have to listen on loud to hear the music etc. And this also means that noone next to you will hear a thing! Very impressed! However, the Bluetooth version Zen is advertised to so you can use it in bed. Although the Snugs feel very snug in your ear, the wire that runs from the earphones to the neck connector is protruding and it results in digging into your ear if you lie down on your side wearing them. I purchased them thinking I can drift off to sleep wearing them, but it's too uncomfortable. Moreover, the charging port is B-type, not the currently and widely used C-type, so its a step backwards. I'll still use it, as its very secure for going for a run, good noise isolation etc. It would be cool if the Bluetooth version of Snugs can made so it's totally wireless! 😏
