Hola hola! My name is Stephanie. I’ve been learning Spanish for just under 3 years. About a year into my journey, I felt pretty stuck with my progress…I sounded like Tarzan when I spoke Spanish, had limited vocabulary and felt nervous when trying to strike up conversations with Spanish speakers. I started learning Spanish with Nate about 1.5 years ago and it has really boosted my vocabulary, reading skills and conversational skills! The lessons are packed with tips, audio, flash cards and stories to keep the process fun! After learning Spanish with Nate, I felt confident enough to travel to Mexico City twice and even met Nate and his friends in person!! I was able to speak Spanish with the locals, order food, ask for directions, and just have regular conversations with the people of Mexico City! Along with the academy, Nate’s community is also a great place to ask for help, share experiences, and speak with other learners of all levels of the Spanish language! I can’t recommend him enough!! Qué onda! My name is Colten. I truly can’t say enough good things about Nate. This amazing guy has helped me with everything from saying my wedding vows in Spanish to my wife 3 years ago, to helping me over the years with hurdles I came across while learning. I asked my wife to help me learn Spanish years ago, she has done an amazing job doing so. But what she couldn’t do is explain why things are said the way they are in Spanish. I would ask her “why do have to say it like that” after asking her something, and she would reply, “idk that’s just the way you say it”. And that’s where Nate comes in and really shines! He can elaborate on things I needed to understand in order for my brain to comprehend how the language works. If you’re truly dedicated to wanting to understand, learn, or even live Spanish, there’s no other person I would recommend. Because he learned Spanish later in life, he knows the struggles/ difficulties and can teach you on how to over come those obstacles! Te quiero hermano! Gracias por todo lo que haces, eres el mejor!

I found Nate through his hilarious and informative YouTube videos. Honestly, I was jealous, this gringo speaks spanish like a native. I thought I could never! I'm just not good at language learning. Nonetheless, I signed up for one of his courses. He took me from having 0 Spanish knowledge or confidence to having conversations with native speakers in about a month. I've continued to build my spanish piece by piece through his online courses. Nate has successfully navigated the language learning process himself and he has unique perspective that even native speakers don't have. He learned spanish as a second language. This perspective allows him to connect with spanish learners and explain grammar and mental models of the language that are incredibly helpful. Nate is the man!

I'm Trev, a middle aged Englishman, and I learned some Spanish many years ago because I was going on holiday to Gran Canaria on my own. I intended to rent a car when I got there to go exploring the island and thought it would be useful to speak some Spanish, in case I got into difficulty. What I learned turned out to be useful and I used my Spanish on subsequent holidays to mainland Spain and Mallorca.  At the beginning of 2024 I wanted to do something to stimulate my mind, to combat any degenerative brain disorders as I age and decided to pick up my Spanish learning again, after 20+ years.  I started off with a well known language teaching app and some books, but got to the stage where I was getting things wrong in the app, but it didn't explain why what I was doing was wrong, so I started searching YouTube and stumbled across Nate's channel.  I liked his down to earth and enthusiastic approach to Spanish and his easy going style of teaching the language, plus, he'd 'got the t-shirt' by learning Spanish to the extent that he's been able to move to Mexico and live there, which impressed me greatly.  I discovered that he had a separate Spanish learning platform with a community of fellow Spanish learners and decided to investigate further. I read the reviews and they were all very positive, so I decided to subscribe, and it was one of the best things I've ever done in my pursuit of learning Spanish.  Nate's group has an active and vibrant forum, and the sense of 'community' is fantastic. Everyone is very helpful and supportive, and the best thing is that Nate is very active on there, posting answers to questions and bits of information every day. He is always ready to reply to any questions and lend a hand when required. He is clearly passionate about helping his community of members achieve their goals, in a very patient, humble and friendly way.  The teaching videos and resources are exceptional too. Nate teaches the language in a very accessible, easy to understand way and the courses are structured so that each lesson builds on the last one in a methodical way.  I feel that my Spanish knowledge, comprehension and confidence has improved noticeably in all areas since I joined Nate's community.  I'm enjoying learning by working my way through the courses and using the resources available. If you're serious about leveling up your Spanish knowledge and skills, I'd highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, at any level, from absolute beginner upwards, there's something there for everyone.  Top marks all round from me for Nate's Fluent Spanish Speaker Academy.  Buena suerte y mis mejores deseos a todos. I wanted to learn Spanish again for the first time since high school and just started to build my own self-study plan. But I came across the videos on Nate's YouTube channel and saw that he had a Spanish course for people exactly like me. I took a leap of faith and I swear, I felt like I understood more Spanish in one week than the entire month that I had spent trying to figure out everything on my own. It felt like sitting down with my smart friend and listening to him teach me the 80/20 of what I needed to know about Spanish. This course made it easy for a busy person like myself to learn Spanish efficiently while still having fun! I would highly recommend this course—muy bien hecho!

Nate really is an excellent teacher. He speaks both English and Spanish very clearly and well. His explanations and pedagogical techniques are effective, fun, and memorable. Nate is also very personally involved with the community and with his students. He makes sure we are getting the most out of the many resources he has made available (including his own time and attention). As a teacher myself, I commend Nate's work ethic, teaching excellence, and competence at teaching Spanish language and cultures.

My name is Patrick Olalia, I'm from New Jersey, and currently living in Texas. Nate's Spanish course, lessons, and mentorship has helped me take my Spanish speaking endeavors to the next level. I studied Spanish for 2 years when I was in highschool, but I never really had a community or people to discuss it with on a personal level back then. I thought I would never use Spanish ever again once I finished my years in highschool, but boy was I wrong. When I found myself out in restaurants, supermarkets, Spanish-dominant speaking Jobs, and even in situations in my personal life with dating, friendship and relationships, I found that Spanish was one of my best tools to connect with Spanish-speakers on a deeper level. I can now proudly say that my Spanish speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills are on the Intermediate level, and I'm on my way to becoming fluent thanks to Nate's help. I don't know where I'd be without this community. I am forever grateful and thankful for the opportunity to work with such amazing and great individuals. I get a lot of compliments from my friends, neighbors, coworkers, even potential significant others that my Spanish is so good. Nate is a great teacher that adds a lot of great insight, value, and useful information that you can easily implement and utilize in your life that will have a massive impact on your Language learning/speaking journey. They are skills and tools that you will get to keep with you for a lifetime. Forever. Spanish is such a beautiful language, with many great and beautiful countries with such lovely people. With rich, abundant and lush cultures to get lost in, it would be a shame to not know the language at all and visit these beautiful places. Spanish will not only just help you in Business/Work/Career, Relationships, Friendships, but it will also enrich your Soul as well. I am very happy that I enrolled in Nate's program. I have absolutely no regrets at all. Love love Nate's content and his Spanish ability. I took private lessons with him earlier this year and it really helped my confidence going forward. I'm regularly initiating conversations with Spanish speakers now, which is the real cheat code to learning. It's only snowballing from here. He's incredible!

Thanks to Nate's Spanish with Nate and this community full of helpful people I learned not only the basics so far but also I have people that I can practice speaking with WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT + everybody is eager to help. Wow! This is an amazing opportunity to really learn Spanish with Nate. He has put so much effort into presenting his "classroom for learning!" I cannot believe how fast I am comprehending the Spanish language. I am surrounded by Spanish speakers who live speaking only English. However my knowledge has increased so much in a few days under Nate's wonderful, intelligent instructions, that I am forcing my friends to speak Spanish and to have fun.
