This is the kind of subtle, but extremely useful AI feature that doesn't make it on the hype train. You can now patch into all of your email accounts from one MCP connection if you're a Superhuman Mail user. Ok, it sounds lame as I typed it it. But if you're trying to manage your life, your to-do list, or build your second brain with context across multiple email addresses, this removes a huge bottleneck. I've been a Superhuman fan since 2023, and they keep finding ways to improve the experience.
This is the kind of subtle, but extremely useful AI feature that doesn't make it on the hype train. I like that Superhuman Mail has split inboxes, allowing me to segment my workflow which helps me focus on different areas of my job without constantly switching contexts. The AI replies feature is also great because it speeds up my email process by providing quick, context-aware responses. I appreciate its speed and minimalistic design. But where I get the most value are being able to truly utilize my inbox like a to-do list through the use of inboxes and reminders. The other feature that's been invaluable has been their collaboration. I can share an email with a colleague (even someone who doesn't use Superhuman) and they're able to leave internal-only visible comments or thoughts or context AND they'll be able to see future communication, even if I don't cc them on the thread. They could even respond if I happen to be out of office or are better suited to reply. I like Superhuman Mail because it makes email a breeze and it's way faster to keep my hands on the keyboard, which helps me clear through my inbox efficiently. I appreciate being able to navigate anywhere in my email, whether that's different folders, forwarding emails, or replying to emails. The AI assistant stands out as it helps polish up my writing or even composes drafts for me. I also use Wispr Flow to voice dump my thoughts and allow the AI to compose emails for me, which reduces my need to type. If I don't like how it turns out, I can ask the AI to revise it. Additionally, the initial setup was surprisingly easy and quicker than I expected. I haven't tried it yet, but I like the idea of the Pebbles feature they just released.

The keyboard-first navigation saves an incredible amount of time and mental load. It doesn't seem like it would be a big deal at first, and it takes a brief period to become fluent in Superhuman use, but once you get fast, it's night and day in terms of ease of swiftly moving through outstanding emails.

Shout out to Superhuman Mail for cleaning out my personal email for me while I enjoy dinner and walk with my husband. Yes….😳 it’s at 22,981… but this morning it was at 42,540. This is a decades worth of giving up of not drowning in pointless marketing emails. I tried to keep an inbox zero in the past and it took so much work that I just gave up. Then, today, I finally decided to try out Superhuman Mail on it (because at work, my inbox STAYS at zero 💅). First, I created lots of split inboxes that pulled all of my important types of emails into separated organized boxes… there I easily selected all and archived them. Then, I connected to Claude and asked it to unsubscribe me to EVERYTHING. I do NOT need an email subscription to Little Caesar’s 😂. Finally, I selected the remaining one million and selected delete. It’s been slowly but surely working all day! Again, THIS is what technology was made for… make my life easier. 😂 However… I will miss the ability to horrify my type A friends and family when I show them how many emails I have unread in my inbox lol

I typically stay 0 inbox because of Superhuman. It has a lot of AI functionality that is so easy, and actually makes email fun if you could believe it.

I appreciate the fact that Superhuman Mail lets me sort my inbox really easily, helping me make quick decisions on what needs to go where in my email accounts, which reduces the load of decision-making for me. As a business owner who needs to make thousands of decisions daily, having some of those decisions either taken off my plate or made super easy is extremely valuable.
