When I needed to learn SketchUp, I found Justin. I watched many of his videos and learned how to work Sketchup. He's been my go to guy when ever I needed to understand how to do anything in the program. His videos are clear and to the point. I use the program every day as a residential draftsman. While I feel I'm at expert level, I know Justin has so much more to teach me.

Always great tips and reviews of add-ons. An excellent source of the latest information. I use SketchUp weekly for rendering 3D Arch Vis Perspectives. I have recommended this channel to my colleagues as well.

You channel has been a go-to for years whenever I need to help my son with something in SketchUp. You've been making me look like I have any idea what I'm doing for a good long while. My son has been a long time participant at the many neurodiverse programs at Trimble (the parent company of SketchUp) and it's been a valuable resource for all of those projects

I have been a Pro user of Sketchup for over 10 years and in the beginning I found the SketchUp Essentials tutorials and invaluable resource. Shortly after my introduction to the software, I found the Sandbox, Photo matching, Animation, and material editing videos, to name but a few, crucial in permitting me to have a smooth and efficient workflow. The videos have also made me aware of new extensions that I have consequently tested and purchased. While Sketchup is a relatively simple programme when compared with AutoCAD, there are some methods that are not immediately obvious and it is not entirely intuitive, however SketchUp Essentials provides best practice procedures in an easy to digest format. I would not hesitate to recommend the channel to any individuals interested in the 3D world of SketchUp, as the content will expand their knowledge and understanding of the programme very quickly. Although I can't suggest any ideas for new videos, I can recommend a 3DConnexion CADMouse, I bought one a few years ago and although initially I found it cumbersome, I now find myself less efficient without it.

I've greatly benefited from many of Justin's video lessons on Youtube. I started as a novice user of Sketchup that could make simple models for woodworking and just recently completed a full model of my house with construction drawings. All thanks to the videos Justin has posted. I'm not a designer by trade and only use Sketchup for my personal use.

I have yet to meet another SketchUp user who HASNT heard of Justin's youtube channel. I came to Justin's tutorials as a mid-level Sketchup user and have particularly found his tutorials on plugins very useful. I have also used his tutorials to quickly troubleshoot models at work and it has definitely helped me in my career. The best thing about these tutorials is that they are step by step and so easy to follow! cannot recommend enough to anyone getting into sketchup, whether you are a beginner or an expert!

I've watched and learned from several videos that Justin has made regarding SketchUp. I've also had direct contact with him through email, helping me with an extension that I purchased that I couldn't quite figure out. In addition, to watching the "Essentials" I also watched and bought a book from other SketchUp ( pro's ) but I always have come back to Justin's channel.

SKP Essentials is the best tutorial I've found that has helped me on so many topics. Justin is easy to follow, very articulate and provides great knowledge/tips of all aspects of every topic he covers. The entire SKP E is great for levels - beginners, intermediate and advanced users. Justin is my go-to person for any feature of Sketchup, because of his videos I transferred from strictly AutoCAD architecture to full Sketchup. He breaks down information in the most practical ways and introduces new techniques and features better than anyone else.

The Sketchup beginner videos by SketchUp Essentials have been super helpful to me over the years. I also find tutorials explaining the use of different SketchUp plugins very useful. Whenever I discover a new Sketchup plugin, I run over to the Sketchup Essentials page to see if they have already done a tutorial for that plugin. I have recommended this channel to several people over the years already. I am happy that the channel keeps abreast with developments in the industry and I will like to see that sustained.

I went from zero to hero with Sketchup thanks to Justin when I was building my own house and needed a way to communicate with my architect and to arrange furniture. He covers exactly what I need and answers exactly the questions I have.

Everything you do is relevant simple to follow and straightforward. I prefere the more advance tutorials because of my level. I have worked both in Revit and Sketchup and I experience a bigger freedom in Sketchup but both have advantages and disadvantages.

The tutorial on "Creating Detailed Architectural Models" was the most helpful for me. It provided a comprehensive overview of how to use advanced features to create intricate and accurate models, which significantly improved my workflow and the quality of my projects.

If it wasn't for Justin I would probably not taken off with Sketchup. The systematic approach Justin has, the topics he pick, it is all perfect blend to start and advance in Sketchup. I think Justin sets the benchmark!

TheSketchUpEssentials, Justin, is absolutely the go-to for SketchUp tutorials. No other tutorials from anyone else even come close to how in depth and clear these tutorials are. I've been learning from TheSketchUpEssentials for the past 8 years and everytime I search for a tutorial in how to do a specific thing in SketchUp, it's almost always only TheSketchUpEssentials videos that answer my question. 10/10

There were a lot of tips in the tutorials that helped me. From using the Outliner to using Styles. Most of the tutorials were easy to follow and cut right to the point.

There isn’t one lesson in particular that helped me, but just all of the collections that are available. While I am not an architect (yet) I am getting my degree and I have to say that these lessons helped me A LOT with my studies and elevated my 3D models to a whole new level, bringing me great results. SketchUp Essentials has literally reshaped how I approach 3D modeling. I am way faster due to the shortcuts introduced, I have discovered new methods and techniques that I am learning to apply in different circumstances, I have gained access to tools that I never knew of and so much more. But I think most importantly, I have gained the ability to explore and experiment with SketchUp much more productively. I have recommended this channel to friends and with 100% continue to do so, it has been, in my opinion, the best and most accessible tool for this program. I can’t really say if there are any features that I am missing, since there have been barely any questions that the channel hasn’t answered. This is an amazing tool and we are lucky as a community to have this available to us.

There are literally too many topics to mention one over another that have all been helpful. I would recommend this channel to anyone interested in learning this craft. *** If there is one topic of content you could do if possible - I have been desperately asking and searching for how to take my model into AR (which I know how to do) and learn how to scale it in place to actual settings. I can do this with my ipad but it never scales correctly *** Ex) I model a kitchen and try to scale it in a clients kitchen and it always floats off the ground...never sets where I want to set it...etc. CAN THIS BE DONE without a super expensive AR Hololense? When I was just learning SketchUp, I stumbled upon several of Justin's tutorials along with countless other creator tutorials. As my knowledge grew, and my questions became more specific, The SketchUp Essentials seemed to have the specific answers I was looking for in and easy to find and understand way. The channel became my go-to resource for general SketchUp info. Eventually, I started incorporating SketchUp where I work, and using 3d visualization became an essential part of the workflow in my department. Every video in YouTube is just packed with very useful information, best practices and everything you need to become a real pro. I've been learning SketchUp just to create a 3D model of my house to make more better decisions that were harder to make with just the floor plan, but the tutorials are so engaging that I ended up creating realistic renders, I've even done it for my friends!

Every time I have a question on how to accomplish something in SketchUp, first thing I do is go to YouTube and search. Every single time Justin's tips are the number one search result. It's incredible the amount of information that I have learned from his channel and he always lays it out in the easiest way to understand including the notable shortcut keys! Very Practical and helpful I would recommend watching all the videos. I even pause and practice as I go along so I don’t miss anything. I am loving the dynamic components videos because it will enable me to output from SketchUp to cad / cam without all the calculations. If you're just getting started these videos will help with step by step tutorials. I learned Sketchup just by watching them when my employer asked me "figure it out". As you progress in Sketchup you can still reference his videos for any additional tricks or tips. His videos are a HUGE help for anyone trying to learn. I'm so thankful for his free information.

I have used dozens of your tips. sometimes they are tips that I only use once or have to back again and again but you are like an encyclopedia. Its great to have you as a resource.
